The Evolving Stealth System Chapter 21: Slaughter Mission

"It's an ancient relic with immense power and might… So, you'll have to be very carefully little ugly when you find my ancestor…"

Duncan looked confused, and she indeed was making no sense to him, but this item of hers was a rare, devilish sword…

Swords could have many imbued elements, and souls of ancestors sometimes seeped into the swords. Hence, this meant this sword would probably cause the dragon to tear him apart if he was caught, and… how do you politely turn down such a daring operation?

Part of him didn't want to, but he needed her for the operation…

It came down to potential…

Here was a devil in a land of demons, and there was nothing but saying yes, and hoping he could succeed...

There was a logic behind the missions, and him being able to receive experience… but turning to Enna, he asked her if she could land…

Enna laughed and pat Duncan on the head as a bolt of lighting flew out of her hands…

It was flying towards a jolly, evil man, and Meru found himself winning a battle…

It was stupid, but he had a strange feeling…

He turned up into the sky, and sure enough it was just the air…

Feeling satisfied, he began humming a beat as his armies marched forward…

"We must not lose! We must not lose!"

Some sort of weird feeling struck his little body, and Duncan immediately laughed watching a mushroom cloud rise in the sky…

Sure enough, at this point, he didn't really have a choice.

Enna was nice, but much stronger than him in battle might and beauty. In fact, he'd be crazy to turn down a devil in desperation…

"No… you're stupid! I'm dumb!" Duncan looked at the two zombies fighting, and picked up a rock…

Basically, a dragon wanted a large statue in his image… and… one little wormy squirmed into the dirt as he tried to make friends…

Actually, he felt like he heard something, but he had to find a rock quickly before that big, rotting monster dared lash out with its large spiked whip!

A large dragon turned into a human, and then a human looking dragon walked into the room…

"Sire… the statue is 80% complete… Soon, you'll have a tomb to store the celestial sword of Death in... However, why are you drawing an image of a girl?"

The Dragon sighed… and kept drawing Enna over and over again…

"She's so pretty, Los! I never has seen such pretty wings…" He drew a very bad drawing of Enna, and one wormy was crawling underneath that sand…

It simply was a worm just trusting its instincts, and sure enough… it felt the vibrations of something talking about Enna…

This worm heard with vibrations, which because of the frequencies made it stop, and since it could communicate with Duncan… it heard everything…

Spying…

It was a natural organic device, and Duncan was so glad he found a rock…

Regardless, after finding the rock, he just kept listening to Wormy's feed, and then he put down a rock as a man carved it into the statue…

"Sire… even in love, you must remember this swords power…"

"Even in life, you must remember how this is the maker of death…"

Well, it was called the Celestial death sword?

So, obviously, the dragon thought, but… he'd give it to her if he asked…

"You're known as the Eye of the Land by my troops, right? If you can use divination to find her… ten years of full access to unlimited resources…"

The dragon was very serious and the man shook his head, so he had a little skill in divination, but she'd have to be within ten miles of his summoning circle…

"I-I'm going to try for you, sire! However, she'd have to be close remember... Within ten miles of this location if not closer sire!" He bowed watching eyes that could melt flesh castigate him a thrust of air…

Literally, he moved his eye brows, and a gust caused the dust to pick up, and he slid against the ground immediately bowing in fear…

"Just… just do it! I MUST HAVE HER!" A stick pierced into the ground and wormy slithered away from the blow as Duncan dropped a rock on his neighbors' foot.

"HEEYYYY! You, stupid man! That hurt!"

Duncan apologized and realized he had to warn Enna quickly… However, how was he supposed to find her?
