Lu Shijin glanced at the man, his lips curling up into a sneer and dumped all of the vodka in.

As the name suggested, a bomb shot involved an explosion. When the smaller glass of alcohol was poured into the bigger glass, it would cause considerable amounts of liquid to spray out as the two liquids gradually became one.

Lu Shijin gave the cocktail to Huo Lian and Huo Lian passed it to the man with the crew cut.

“Drink it.”

To preserve his hand, the man didn't dare to refuse. He downed the glass in one go, the strong alcohol content causing his facial features to become distorted.

“I-I'm done!” His tongue was swollen.

Huo Lian kept his word and released him.

The arm of the man seemed to have no bones, hanging limply by his side, as if it couldn't move.

Having regained his freedom, the man escaped in between his underlings, the gaze directed at Huo Lian filled with horror.

“Boss, do you want us to beat him up?” They angrily cracked their knuckles.

The man had been taught just how strong Huo Lian was and knew that he was not to be provoked. The man kicked each of his underlings to vent some anger.

“Who the fuck do you wanna beat up, quickly take me to the hospital!”

After seeing all this drama, Lu Shijin secretly clapped for Huo Lian.

“I don't think this villain is bad to the point of no redemption.”

711 also praised, “Yeah, it's so cool to defeat the opponent with a single move.”

“Since he helped me today, I've decided to work together with him.”

“He didn't even want to help you in the beginning. Don't forget, he told you to scram. . . Wait, what did you just say?”

Lu Shijin smiled and kept silent.

After the other people left, Lu Shijin sat beside Huo Lian, “Thank you for helping me.”

Huo Lian didn't look at him, calling the bartender for a drink, “I didn't want to help you, it was them who provoked me.”

“I still have to thank you. You're so cool, they had so many people but you got rid of them single-handedly.”

Lu Shijin's tone was sincere, and paired with his serious expression, he didn't seem like he was trying to flatter him.

Huo Lian still had a neutral tone, “What do you want to do?”

Lu Shijin smiled, “I don't want to do anything. It's just that you helped me, so how about I pay for your drinks tonight?”

Huo Lian finally lifted his eyes and glanced at Lu Shijin.

Huo Lian gave him a glass, “I don't need you to pay. If you want to thank me, drinking a couple glasses together is enough.”

Lu Shijin took his hands away from his face and blinked hard, waiting for his vision to clear before surveying his surroundings.
