“Your Majesty!” Prime Minister Lu stood up and said, “I have seen everything that happened just now. Since his Highness Payne is so certain about his claims, so much so to bet his life on them, there must be something we don't know about the former ruler's death. Please let the maid finish.”

“No need!” Cassia wiped away the tears on her face. Standing up, she proudly lifted her chin. “Ask me whatever you want.”

Neptune was shocked and grabbed her arm, “Cassia, even you're going to betray me?”

Suddenly, he felt a burning sensation from his internal organs. A sweet scent appeared in his throat and a drop of blood slowly trickled from the corner of his mouth.
