Ethan seems to be speechless with the ringing noises in the dead silent room.

"Did something happened?" came Lu Jianjun's perplexed voice. Ethan nodded.

"Boss, there's an incursion into..." Ethan said as panic in his eyes became evident and hesitated to proceed, his heart drumming loudly to see the man's dark eyes narrowed pointedly at word 'incursion' Lu Jianjun's casually leaning back slowly straighten, his expressions clouding, Ethan felt terrified, that's why he didn't use word 'attack' to break the news to his boss still it's of no use.

When Ethan didn't clarify, Lu Jianjun's sharp and cold voice cut through the ringing calls around him. "Where?" the air around him instantly turned heavy as looming sirens ring in his head.

Ethan gulps hard and responded under pressure. " At G-Glam Queen's parking lot!"

Thud! The file folder in Lu Jianjun's hand slammed closed before he threw it on the table and picked up his private number cellphone.

"Li Na! What just happened? Are they dead!?"

" Wait! Can you hear me? because I feel not..." Lu Jun-hui said dispiritedly like mumbling to himself, his voice resonating inside his head.

"Hey! first, take this one to the hospital or he'll die soon." Li Na pointed towards the fainted man and said to the guardsmen before looking at Lu Jun-hui. "Yes, I can hear you." she signal another man to bring the water bottle.

"It's okay! Here drink some water, " she gave Lu Jun-hui the water bottle.

"Oh my God, you're bleeding..." Lu Jun-hui howled in horror. Did she got hurt?

Li Na smiled and shook her head. "No, it's not my blood." she took another water bottle from the guardsman and washed off the blood from her palm. She leaned at the car's bonnet feeling a little dizzy as she had used her all her body strength in the spur of the moment.

Only after seeing the blood washed off Lu Jun-hui gulped the water from the bottle feeling better. But he still looks a bit off and stuck in the earlier moment.

"How did you do that? What just happened? " he asked holding his head, not able to fully wrap his mind of the happening. "I've to tell brother what you did..."

"I did nothing! Just a tragedy happened!" Li Na replied nonchalantly and opened the cap of another bottle before drinking water. Her head is still hurting and growing gradually.

Lu Jun-hui's eyes widened in disbelief. "What? How..."

"Uh-huh! for them. They got shot by accident. That's tragic!" Her hand grabbed the car's surface.

Li Na continued as she knew Lu Jun-hui will expose her in front of Lu Jianjun if she didn't interfere. "I hit that bullseye shot with my eyes closed." she pointed towards the dead body on the stretcher who was hit straight in between his brows.

"Huh? Really, your eyes were closed? I didn't see-" Lu Jun-hui seems to hesitate he was staring at gunpoint he didn't saw her face at that instance.

Li Na rolled her eyes. "Duh! You think I'll be able to aim so accurate if I wanted."

Lu Jun-hui laughed hollowly. "Ya, right! How could you be so awesome? I guess I was overthinking."

"I know! Now, are you okay? Feeling better!?" She asked as he nodded. He did feel a lot better while talking to her.

"But how do you know he had a gun? You cut his wrist before he pulled out his gun." Lu Jun-hui asked curiously.

"Oh, that! When a gun goes off, a cloud of fine particles covers the hands of the shooter leaving behind a bit of the telltale metal. Something like grey glossy powder. That man's left hand was not clean but looked dusty he seems to forgot washing them as he came running, there was also a faint smell of gunpowder around him. I guess your driver must be shot down by him."

"Good, every time you doubt strangers first observe their hands and clothes to check if they are professional killers or any trained assassins."

"What if they have cleaned hands and clothes?"

Li Na chuckled lightly. "Then you must be their first target in the list." and warned him. " Be careful, if not then be ready to rest in peace!"

"Li Na, I-I can't believe you just did that," he said in a trance and sat on bonnet beside her.

Just then a Black Mayback dashed into with low screeching sound wheels stopped. A tall man stepped out with a stoned face. As soon as he saw the fragile girl he scanned her from head to toe if injured. He seemed to be cornered about something she is so vulnerable to how could she be normal after handling two men she just recovered a bit of health.

Li Na's leaning back straightens instantly when the man's steps drew closer to them but his eyes set on her. The sudden pull of the body made her dizzy she held her splitting head as she felt the last bit of strength slipping away from her.

"Jun-hui, can you please hold me..." Li Na mumbled losing her consciousness falling to one side. Near her, Lu Jun-hui was unprepared as she leaned her upper body on his arm, unknowingly he moved a little Li Na about to fall back. When a strong arm pulled her forward as before completely passing out she breathed in that familiar relaxing fragrance of that overbearing man.

"I've something... to tell you..." she whispered subconsciously holding onto his shirt buttons as he wrapped his arms around her waist.
