Li Na sneered as she could see the storm brewing in Lu Jianjun's dark eyes.

Does he hate Mei Xing or he doesn't? However, she still could not conclude or pinpoint it. But her instincts were alarming her.

Does his hate even matter to her? At present? Probably not... and only if she survives this.

In the future? Who cares! One has to last up to that moment when they began to care. The days before that moment seems pointless and irrelevant to bewail over.

Thus, she has to justify herself without making any mistake or been obvious like Mei Xing.

Even though for now, she had no theory. And she could not guess the precise name in Lu Jianjun's mind but she was confident enough not to reveal 'her' own name as well. What if both the names in their minds were the same?

Anyhow, whoever that "female" name bearer is, one thing for sure Lu Jianjun is very violent and aggressive regarding 'her'. And that happened to a man under two extremes hypothesize, either he really hates her or really mad in love.

However, in Lu Jianjun's case, love seems like a lacking factor, cause, he can ignore her if she is Li Na or anyone else. But he'll kill her if she is that girl, who he thinks of 'her' to be. Now that's a bummer!

You don't kill the woman you love, but obviously, you can easily shoot the one you hate.

'Why can't I remember Lu Jianjun? Do I really know this man?'

' Wait a minute.'

All of sudden, something caught her attention and the wicked sense of excitement filled her heart. Her eyes dilated at the oblivious realization.

Amazed but not fazed, Li Na's initial troubled consciousness switched to that of an opportunist. 'This is a damn face off.'

' Oh, Right! He wants me to admit who I am, and to admit that I need to be sure, Mei Xing isn't in his mind. Any girl other than me is fine by both of us.'

There has to be something obvious between them. Having this lightbulb moment Li Na wanted to laugh out but she controlled her urgings.

As it's a two-way encounter and she hasn't surrendered yet. Her flushed face shimmered with an exotic glow as her eyes narrowed at him ever so slightly like a target been found. Since he had encountered her so unexpectedly she isn't going to be easy.

"Okay, Mr. Lu, I'll be honest with you. But before answering your suspicions. Just to assure you as you did to me, so returning the favor let's be clear of this. You see this face?" Suddenly, Li Na pointed towards her face as she confidently asked him. Lu Jianjun frown slightly and Li Na smiled usually and stated, leaving no room for ambiguities. " This is who I am. You see my face, you know my name, And that's the truth."

She isn't lying? But he was impressed and don't want to or possibly can't deny her with that much of her confidence and determination she held into those pairs of gleaming eyes.

Marking her words, Lu Jianjun's expressions shadowed. As though he was trying to suppress his furor, his loose curled fist clenched together firmly. "Don't play word games with me. You think I can't see the person and mind behind the face."

" Aren't you an impatient one, Mr. Lu?"

Lu Jianjun didn't say anything. Why doesn't she just quit or give up? He envied, even after been cornered she isn't the easy one to surrender. But he was more concern for whatever was roasting in her brain.

Li Na took his silence as approval as she proceeded. "Okay, then? Since you know everything, I should just admit. You're right, I don't have amnesia, cause I never said it. And about having memories, I do have them and those aren't Li Na's...and sadly I can't share them with you but, probably I'm not the one you wish to 'kill', " She spoke freely and coolly as Lu Jianjun became more focused on her.

" You see, I never asked for your introduction. That means I know you already before we meet, right? So you're not a stranger for me." While saying so Li Na stretched out her sleeves, retreating her fingertips entirely into the sweater when he appeared to be reminiscing. She was a little nervous inwardly while covering her already hidden wrist tattoo which has his name embedded beautifully.

Concurrently, she also rushed her brain to revive their past engagements.

All this while, Lu Jianjun, and Li Na held intense eye contact as if they are lost into each other's eyes. After a while, they blinked mutually and lost the sight, breaking their stupor.

'Not even to Mei Xing.' Li Na's smile widened a little as Lu Jianjun's frown deepened.

Nope. There was no introduction between them. He knew her so does she knew him beforehand. She was sure that in her past life, Mei Xing felt familiar with his name but there's no way she can link that name to the handsome face in front of her. Mei Xing had to know him before and looking at how private this man has kept his identity that only means he meets only those people who he wants to not the other way around.
