In a stupor, she stepped out of the room. Still, thinking about yesterday's event and her expressions turned gloomier.

While being Little Tiger's mother she was already troubled about Zhang Han and now her association with Lis is making it worse. She wasn't feeling confident and hopeful to ever return back to her family. There is no way to reach them after this. Isn't there? She knows her family better than anyone and how protective and guarding her parents that Mei Xing has to hide her serving an intelligence agency and keep it confidential cause she knew her mother would never allow her to entangle in any disorders or clashes of superpowers or any kind of collision that leads to the crime world. The cruelty and persecution of the Underworld were not hidden and their brutal ways of killing big shots and taking the charge openly where the world's law and order became a play.

After having her breakfast, she was called to the study room on the top floor. Where, Lu Jianjun, Lu Junhui, and Bai Tian were already present.

As soon as she entered, the two young men glare accusingly at her as if she doomed their entire life.

Ignoring the two pests sitting at the table, Li Na looked at Lu Jianjun who was unfazed by her presence.

" Li Na take a seat." Lu Jianjun said without looking at her as he was looking out of the window.

After a while, slowly he turned around and said, " I think, there's a lot of things you need to know, before, we could talk about us..."

Li Na's breath hitched as she held her breath unconsciously when she heard him say 'talk about us'.

Instantly, she retorted. " Mr.Lu, There is no 'us' between you and me. It's either you or me. Keep it simple." After knowing the case of their involvement Li Na felt it's better not to get too involved with Lu Jianjun in any way. Not even in words.

Li Na looked straight into his eyes boring her determination. The temperature dropped as they stubbornly stare at each other. No one was ready to step back.

'Why is she getting so intense? Is it not like I raped her?' But her response is really favoring his mothers' reaction when she got to know about his one nightstand.

His eyes drop as he remembered his mother's word after Madam Lu gets to know the whole situation. Still, she charged him till today. ' how could you? Lu Jianjun, the girl is just fifteen. She's a child herself. A child carrying a child inside her, just because you lost control of yourself. Don't you dare look at me like you did nothing wrong!'

Frustrated, Lu Jianjun closed and felt the rising burn in his eyes.

When he opened he looked at Lu Junhui and Bai Tian with a warning gaze. He stood up and grabbed his coat and said before leaving the room. "You two behave yourself."

Amazed, Li Na stared blankly at the two chicken heads nodding their heads obediently in sync. Then her eyes trace Lu Jianjun's back out of the door. " I really don't like him now," she said loudly before turning back and froze when she saw the same intense hatred in two pairs of eyes.

'We hate you, bitch!' They didn't dare to say out loud but their expressions were obvious. Her eyes lowered immediately because she didn't forget the distress of Little Tiger and thinking that perhaps these men do have a valid reason to hate Li Na if it's concern Little Tiger.

A mother always loves her child but Li Na didn't. Well, if there hate is for Li Na as a negligent mother then it's fair. As being a lady, she really feels shame and bitterness that her own child doesn't regard her and he's scared of her.

Lu Jun-hui cleared his almost choked throat as he was so emotionally broken by getting scolded. He turned to Li Na and said in an extremely professional manner, " Miss Li Na, This file contains the profile of all you're family members and relatives. I'll begin with your introduction first." Li Na raised her eyes brows at his civilized tone and improved manner of speaking.

Just then he handed her a weighted file and hesitantly she took it while questioning the authenticity of the provided information.

"Name: Li Na, Age: 20, Blood group: B negative, Birthdate: 6th of... " Quickly, Li Na raised her hand in doubt to tell him to skip this primary level education as she knows all this trivial information. But Lu Jun-hui didn't allow her to open her mouth. "No interruption. Queries will be taken at the end of the session," he said curtly.

"Fine. Go on then." she leaned back on the chair and closed her eyes to listen to his manual as the first brainstorming session begins.

Lu Jun-hui told her about Li Na's mother deceased due to cancer and her father remarried for her sake...and how her deep relationship with her stepmother tarnished when her father expired. Up to her involvement with drugs.

All of sudden, Lu Jun-hui charged up and said furiously. "Who the fuck gave you drugs?" No matter how much he investigates about that person there was no lead. If he ever finds out his name, even if that man is dead Lu Jun-hui will dig him out of his grave just so he can kill that bastard again. Because that bastard was the root cause of Little Tiger's suffering.

Amused that Lu Jun-hui did keep his cool for a long while before his lost temper, Li Na's lips curled slightly by his sudden outburst. Then she just smiled and return him the favor. "Queries will be taken at the end of the session. Now, continue."

Lu Jun-hui was speechless. Well, she knows how to be professional.

Very attentively Li Na mug up every detail and faces, simultaneously making a personal note for a few confusing personalities and some having a twisting background, relatives of Li Na as well of Mei-Xing. She wasn't surprised when there was no mention of her family. As all the traces and relations were swiped out completely.

Li Na gave it a thought before she turns to Lu Jun-hui and began her inquiries. The bulk of the information wasn't the concern but what is relevant and beneficial for her that's all mattered to her. Other than convivial data, there wasn't any special mention in the file but a few names worthy of her attention according to their socialite position and prominences because she might encounter them in the future as Li Na's mind already began to work and these few names might be a problem or who knows they can also be handy for her. She can't possibly sit idle and just focused on her fitness.

As time progress, the hazy session turned into a serious discussion. Li Na was so engrossed to know more as she pointed and listed out a few things and names that she wanted to know more about, in detail and in-depth.

From the side chair, Bai Tian was stunned to look at her serious expressions, he can't believe she was looking so intimidating, there was a certain charm emitting through her like a lady boss. He shook his head resolutely, he was more surprised with her growing interest in people.

Suddenly, he remembers her interaction with Little Tiger.

'Something is odd about this Li Na.' ' When did she get so interested in knowing? In the past, she never related herself to anyone ignoring and brushing off people like dust on her clothes.'

Looking at Li Na's yearning to know more, Bai Tian glanced at the thin file in front of him which barely has five or six names, and those were only of important people and higher officials of Academy.

Just then a strange thought appeared in the head that his file might disappoint her immensely and to satisfy her craving he might have to introduce and submit the information of the whole batch of the student or maybe the entire institutes.

"What the fuck!" 'Seriously, why does it feel weird?'

Bai Tian gulps.' This girl is actually giving him creeps now.' Quickly, he excused himself to add more information in his file so that he won't have to do it again. Anyways, he was supposed to give her thorough after Lu Jun-hui's done so he had enough time to re-arrange the data again. This time Bai Tian did it sincerely and thoughtfully.
