In the evening, on the decorated yet isolated island after their extremely intimate first night, Mei Lein woke up inside a lavish bedroom. Her eyes squint to block the happy sun rays falling on her gleaming face. She closed her eyes to adjust and then enjoyed the warm glare of the sun with whimsical eyes.

Suddenly something clicked to her. Hastily, she sat up and realized that she had slept until the sunset and was fantasizing things. Mei Lein flinched and felt her body is limped and sore yet satisfied and immensely pleased with the event. She blushed furiously remembering their lovemaking and realized she wasn't dreaming at all. Her ears flamed red as Mei Lein covered her flushed face as she tried to stop thinking.

Everything is real! Zhang Han is Mei Lein's husband. And they really got married. Nothing was a dream but a reality. Thinking of this, she turned her head and looked around the room for her husband. With excitement and curiosity, her eyes searched for Zhang Han.

'Where he could be?'

Mei Lein removed the bedsheet and walked to the floor-length window in the room. Instantly, her eyes warmed up to see her husband standing near the shores, quietly looking at the sunset. She smiled to see the blue sea before him and the sun setting in the distant horizon as the golden light shimmered on his outline making her heartbeats erratic yet pacified at the beautiful sight in front of her.

She stared at his back for a while thinking for the past one month's activity, her smile disappeared slowly. She stood there for a long time silently watching him before turning towards the bathroom to fix herself and bathe.

Since it was only the two of them on the whole Island, Mei Lein doesn't mind walking towards him wearing thin and short pajamas.

Suddenly, she hugged Zhang Han's back as the man snapped out of his daze. He blinked but didn't turn as he blew out smoke, quietly.

After a while, Zhang Han pulled around Mei Lein and embrace her tightly. He kissed her forehead and couldn't help but hugged her more tightly. His thoughts running wild. She was so close to his heart but he felt lacking something. Something bothering him about her.

His eyes were glaring at the setting sun as the warm sun rays couldn't melt the coldness in those pair of blue eyes.

Unsettled, Zhang Han pulled and stare at her deep brown eyes for a long time.

Shocked by his sudden actions, Mei Lein became nervous under his meaningful glare. She could only guess why he was watching her carefully. Undoubtedly, He was inspecting her.

Keeping herself calm, Mei Lein acted normal, " What?" he didn't reply but kept on watching. Mei Lein got scared that he will ask her to remove her contact lenses. Both of them know Mei-Xing needs contact lenses and she wore specs or lenses most of the time. Mei-Xing preferred to wear them almost all the time as everything gets blurry up close but she was able to see things fine when they're far away. She was habitual moreover, she didn't like to see blurry words up close.

The only difference between Mei Lein and Mei Xing's appearance is their eyes color shade. It was the lightest shade difference. This can only be seen in bright light in dim light they look the same, big and beautiful eyes of dark brown. But to identify it one has to familiar with those eyes. Between the twins, farsightedness was a genetic cause that has conferred to Mei Xing after a generation.

Last night, Mei Lein didn't wear the lenses as they spent the night outside the villa beneath the sky. But now looking at Zhang Han's expression she regrets not wearing them.

Mei Lein tensed up as he was staring at her without even blinking. His mouthed opened a few times but he seems to be struggling to put his thoughts into words. Mei Lein's nerve tensed and body became stiff but she smiled as her eyes shone beneath the faint radiance of sunset.

Before Zhang Han could open his mouth, Mei Lein restored.

"Zhang Han? Don't tell me. You're doubting me."

Zhang Han became hesitant. He doesn't know why he felt so insecure and since the beginning of the relationship. Even the slightest change in Mei Xing's appearance or style will make him doubtful. It's not like he doesn't trust Mei Xing but he can never trust her twin sister, and they were so alike that even their parents can't differentiate them individually. It's a lot easier when both of them together. There were times when Mei Xing has to prove herself after which he felt bad for her every time she did. Although, Mei Xing has confidently assured him that

Mei Lein will never try to be Mei Xing, not even in her dreams.

Seeing him quite, Mei Lein's lips stretched further but it was a bitter smile. "Oh, you are?" she whispered as her face dampened.

In the entertainment industry, today Mei Lein held the position and awards of being the best actress still, playing to be her twin sister is the most daring role she had taken. She felt a newbie like seven years ago, struggling to act even after knowing the type of character was Mei Xing.

Somewhat frustrated yet Mei Lein took it as a challenged and for her, this is a matter of life and death. She gasped a deep breath and said. "Fine! You don't trust me. Then I should remove my lenses, so you can believe that I'm Mei Xing and not Mei Lein."

She raised her hand and began to remove her contact lenses. Suddenly, Zhang Han caught her hands and stopped her.

Frustrated, Zhang Han tsked at her words and shook his head.

"I-I trust you. I really do." He avowed. His eyes closed as he rubbed his throbbing temples.

After hearing his words, Mei Lein let out the breath unknown that was struck. She knew it. As much as Mei Xing deeply trust this man, he also trusts Mei Xing blindly. Mei Lein used to envy and rolled her eyes looking at Mei Xing and Zhang Han's trusting and backing each other inherently. As if And if she volunteered herself then he'll surely decline and chose to be blinded by her love.

"I love you, Zhang Han. Can't you trust me a little more? " Mei Lein murmured and hugged him. Dazed, she stared at the villa looking it as her dream home with him whereas Zhang Han witnesses the sun sinking on the horizon. He missed the beautiful sunrise hoping it to rose again.

Mei Lein's heart ached. She felt worried. How is she going to make him fall for Mei Lein if she keeps on building a relationship between Zhang Han and Mei-Xing?

Initially, she planned to keep a distance Zhang Han from Mei Xing while acting as Mei-Xing. She wants to destroy their relationship. Doesn't matter what Mei Lein has to do for that? Once, there is a crack formed in their marriage then it won't take much time to break the glass.

Mei Lein knows she can't pretend to be her sister forever. As soon as possible she had to break them apart by breaking his heart before she can begin courting him again as Mei Lein.

Once, Zhang Han was broken, he won't have another choice to come to Mei Lein. Only she can fill his thirsty heart. Only she resembles Mei-Xing and no other girl.

Although Mei Xing knew him better and after her death, it's Mei Lein who can understand him. Other girls are no match for her. How strange? Mei Lein has become her own competition. Acting to be two personalities she can easily trample one. For once, Mei Lein had lost Zhang Han to her sister and accepted the defeat but no matter what she won't lose him to any other girl again.

Moreover, Mei Lein knew what she has to do next to break his trust in Mei Xing. No other woman should come in between a husband and wife thus there is no need and space for dead Mei Xing in the future.
