And you want to spoil it giving the lead role to that dead face woman. Are we not doing enough of her branding? Now we're giving roles like charity...so that she can destroy the whole movie." Bai Tian was furious like hell as he continued.

"You got to be kidding me! She lost the competition fair and square. She didn't even pass the screening test of a side character and you made her lead..."

Just then remembering something, Lu Jun-hui covered the phone speaker with the other hand and called manager Guo Jie forward.

He whispered lowly. "If you don't wish to replace your artist then quickly bring the contract and get it signed." Lu Jun-hui gave some advice to Guo Jie. "Yes, Boss." Guo Jie quickly nodded.

Li Na overheard the whole conversation and even understood the matter. It didn't take long for the quick-witted woman to see the man behind the scene who caused this commotion.

Her loose fist tighten. She was so tempted to look at the cornered camera and glared at him but no... the man has let the dogs out to test Mei Xing how could she disappoint him.

A tall, strong man stood in front of the large wall placed with big rectangular screen division showing the live recording of the different main subdivision companies under Lu Corporation.

In the middle of the dark shaded room, Lu Jianjun stood a few meters away from the screen, casually leaning against a long glass table, before him several operators sat monitoring and controlling the various surveillance footages.

The employees were nervous tried to focus on their work as it happened rarely that their prominent CEO visited this control hub personally. His hands tucked into his trouser pockets as his eyes keenly observing the screen.

It's been more than fifteen minutes he was staring at a particular receptacle screen, which was displaying the Glam Queen's first-floor view. He examined Li Na standing there alone as everyone left just the scenario. He watched everything from the start and live telecast in high definition clarity.

Just as Lu Jianjun glanced at his wristwatch, his meeting scheduled to start in the next ten minutes. He turns to walk toward his floor.

Suddenly, his back stiffened, his expressions became hard. A tempered headache grew over. Snubbing the pain, Lu Jianjun turns to take a last look of the fearless girl. Turning his head to the left, Lu Jianjun's gaze fell on her, his eyes settled there for longer. She has been a distracting him a lot lately. All he could think of and left on his mind was the girl nicknamed 'Mei Xing'.

On the screen, after Lu Jun-hui left, Guo Jie guardedly walked towards Li Na sneakily looking for people around them. Then Guo Jie slowly whispered near Li Na's ear.

Earlier, Lu Jianjun didn't intend to confront Li Na the way he did. Even he didn't know why he became so impatient and restless about her as impulsively he couldn't stop himself from attacking her. Cause if she is Mei Xing, then this girl could be a very big deal for him. He won't rethink or do any compromise over to take the girl's life.

"Thank God, Li Na! You're alive I thought our plan failed." Guo Jie smiled and added, "Come with me, I've to tell you something important." then she took Li Na to her cabin where there were no cameras. She even pulled the cord of blind curtain covering the glass window.
