Kai, the youngest male heir of Crime Lord or now King of the Underworld from Asian origin. As Kai's father has lawfully wedded just a single-digit of wives all across, just married to make royal allies or under political strategies if not then business agenda and profiting for both the parties and strengthening relations. Underworld's King has a very big family with several legitimate and much more illegitimate children so that even if a few of them were kill it never created any major set back unless the person was his favorite sons or favored heir. Nevertheless, Kai is one of the few dearest sons of his father and been pampered endlessly.

Raising the future heir and heiress of Underworld have certain rules and regulation, the child stays with his or her mother in their respective countries until they turned to a certain and mature age to understand their sinful world.

Kai was bought up, and born and trained in China as well, for eighteen years. Throughout his stay in China, his mother often takes him to various banquets and gatherings of the imperial society which he's supposed to rule in the future.

These were the same years when Li Corporation was destroyed and highly suppressed by Zhangs for any possible recovery and Kai's mother were backing them to survive.

The first time Kai meet Li Na was at her father's funeral. he doesn't know exactly what attracted him about her. But he was never felt so excited before he met her. The most attractive thing about her was her hauntingly alluring deep brown eyes blended along with mesmerizing facial features.

Back then, she was eleven years old, an orphan and a miserable little girl.

That day it was raining with dark clouds and in the cemetery, that little girl was crying her heart out at the loss of her father. Not too far, right across, there he stood, a sixteen years old young boy staring at an eleven-year-old girl unwaveringly with a smile loosely tugged at the corners of his lips without a care of the world and the purpose of a funeral.

Holding the umbrella, his amber eyes behind the black sunglasses were dazzled with unusual glint and delight he ever experienced. Perhaps it was her influence that since then, he liked been around dead bodies and fond of the dreadful graveyards. He felt more peaceful and soothing than at home or any mansion.

On that rainy day, if Kai could then he would have taken little Li Na along him on the same day of the funeral but there was a lady with the little girl, whom she called as her mother yet there was nothing similar between them.

Li Na's stepmother was not someone who can separate them nor that her stepmother was difficult to deal with.

At last, Kai bought Li Na and thoroughly enjoyed every moment staring at her beautiful eyes whereas suppressing his strong urge to take her artistic eyeballs out of her socket and put them as a piece of decoration. All his life, it was others who found his eyes extremely attractive and rare but the first time he felt as if he has seen something out of the world and rarest to find. But that was at the beginning as he got to know how obedient and dependable she is becoming towards him that boosted his manly ego immensely as he let her grow.

The pitiable girl made him feel unusually happy and peaceful. The way she looked at him with those scared and submissive eyes, while biting her rosy lips, was something new during those days. Consequently, Kai got a new interest. A little fair kitty that he took to his home, fed her and endlessly pampered her to point she became bratty and careless of other feelings and deeds.

Needless to say, what he fed her was not the food but the special medication for her pain as she quickly got addicted to, that shots also made her more reliant and obedient towards him.

However the time they could spend together was very limited and unsatisfactory for him.

Surprisingly, his little kitty didn't shed a single tear when he left her alone in China. Well, by that time, he had trained her how to keep the unwanted emotions sealed and as quick learner she learned and exceeded more than his expectations.

But during their separate times, Kai dearly missed Li Na. Even after three years of a long gap, Kai couldn't fill up her missing place in his life before he decided to keep her with him forever.

Obviously, he knew his affection towards her was somewhat special and only limited for her. A fact to be told, Li Na became his love and occupied much more space in his heart than anyone ever did. Although, Kai never ever regretted any of his own decisions in his whole life, except one, taking Li Na away from China. That one mistake is like a remainder which he thinks of as a cruel fate. Lu Jianjun ordered his men to shoot those bastards on sight while they ran for their lives like mad stray dogs.

Everyone was shocked by this sudden attacking and rapid shift of gears as it was impossible to stop the violent and brutal Lu Jianjun who had made the whole world his enemy.
