Elder Li didn't take the file offered by Ethan instead she looked over the man.

Lu Jianjun replied indifferently, "Since you don't believe it. I'm just backing my authority. You can read these papers and decide."

Feeling humiliated as parents by Lu Jianjun's rude behavior with an older woman, Master Lu exploded: "Enough! Lu Jianjun, stop it. And apologize to Elder Li, Now!"

Lu Jianjun looked at his father and said coldly: "I will. If she accepts that and won't interfere in my matters."

Elder Li stared at those papers as she recalled the previous times when Lu Jianjun was this furious. She remembered the first time, Lu Jianjun came to meet her. At that time, Lu Jianjun had offered to take Li Na's responsibility, her education up to her living expenses, everything.

Li Na had never shared anything with her grandparents about her personal life. Delighted to see a young man from an elite family asking for Li Na, Grandma Li thought maybe Lu Jianjun has fallen in love with Li Na and wish to marry her in the future. But that was not the case. Elder Li asked Lu Jianjun to confirm her thoughts and he refused. He never intended to do any of that.

Instantly, She declined Lu Jianjun's offer!

How could she allow her granddaughter to be a mistress? If not for making her a mistress then why does he wants to spend his money on her? She has seen many rich bluffing and using young girls saying they want to help them. She knew why they do so.

Subsequently, after rejecting Lu Jianjun's offer Grandma Li strictly warned Li Na to stay away and be careful of the man named: Lu Jianjun.

Little did she knew what kind of deeds Li Na had done, and was doing behind her back. Cause Elder Li was strict with legal matters. Li Na had planned to legally disown her family without the knowledge of her grandparents but Li Na never considered that Lu Jianjun will go and ask for her grandmother's permission.

Looking at the documents, Elder Li thought that she should have seen the blind one-sided love of Li Na. And only if she had known earlier and stop Li Na then, maybe her granddaughter would not have tried to suicide. Li Na's love for Lu Jianjun is the thing Elder Li wants to guard her against.

Outraged, Elder Li warned him: "Lu Jianjun if you can't marry her? It's better to leave her."

Lu Jianjun said calmly: "That's my personal decision and I don't tolerate unwanted interference in it."

Master Lu looked at the stubborn man horrifyingly as he felt like he didn't know him at all. Lu Jianjun just signed an agreement with Li Na! After what happened between them and after him endlessly convincing his son to marry the girl.

Just an agreement? So that's how he took her responsibility! He never agreed to marry her nor intended too. Master Lu felt sad knowing that his son had ruined an innocent girl by constraining her with himself for his own selfishness.

Helplessly sighing, Master Lu stated: "Lu Jianjun, I never thought you could be this cruel and shameless. It's good that your mother didn't see you becoming a monster."

Lu Jianjun eyes darkened instantly. He snatched the file from his assistant and roughly tossed it onto the table. His eyes turned cold. He stood there not wanting to say anything anymore. Tossing the file, he turned to leave but paused momentarily before telling Elder Li, "Keep the file and read it properly before giving your judgments." saying so, he walked out of the room.

He personally came to throw the papers on Li Na's face. How dared she commit suicide? He has given her everything, money, freedom, a luxurious lifestyle. What else she wants? Lu Jianjun had taken her responsibility for her betterment and his personal reasons, he didn't hold any alternative motive behind that nor he forced anything on Li Na.

The agreement was never his idea. She was free to live, laugh or love. Moreover, it was Li Na herself who wanted to sign the agreement, which really surprised him.

How could a girl like to be bound? She wanted to tie herself!

And she told him this way her grandmother won't be able to intervene which could be a concern for him.

Heading back to his office, Lu Jianjun pinched the space between his brows with eyes closed as he tried to relax. But couldn't stop thinking of what happened in the hospital. Suddenly his phone rang, it was from Lu Jun-hui.

Reluctantly, Lu Jianjun picked up the call after a few ringing.

"Hello, Brother, Where are you?"

A finite amount of time later, Lu Jun-hui's brain started to adapt after a lengthy brainstorming, he had finally found the guts to call Lu Jianjun and then, 'No answer, not even a word. Oh! God, he's in a terrible mood. Shit! I should not disturb him?'

Lu Junhui thought of making excuse but then he remembered, anxious he started mumbling to himself. 'If I didn't tell him then the father will kill me! Oh God, I wish mother could save me from her short-tempered husband and her wild-tempered son.' Lu Junhui felt like crying, both of them scared the shit out of him.

Irritated, Lu Jianjun yelled, "Stop babbling and speak!"

Oh...he's becoming angry!

Gulping down his anxiety, Lu Jun-hui rubbed his face and pinched himself here and there. He has to convey the message, clearing his throat and faking his guts he tried to impersonate his brother, "Ohh...Ok. I'll come to the point. Bro, I-I was saying,..." Lu Jun-hui recalled.

"Ah, I was-s saying that...Why did I call you?" He completely forgot the reason. His mind went blank while forging his guts.

On the other side, Lu Jianjun's expression became worst. "..."

Lu Jun-hui! He never learned to handle the pressure. Lu Jianjun wondered why the hell he made Lu Jun-hui the boss of " Glam Queen Media & Arts" and how the heck Lu Jun-hui is going to manage.

"Lu Jun-hui, write down what I say!" Lu Jianjun said gashing his teeth.

Snapping out of his leaking head, Lu Jun-hui said "Ah? Ohh...Yes, yes. Give me a minute." he searched for a pen on his desk but couldn't find it.

Running out of patience, Lu Jianjun asked. "Is your screen on?"

"Yea, I do work in-office hours." Lu Jun-hui lied.

"Then type a mail."

" Found it. Found It. I found my pen." Lu Jun-hui ran and snatched his assistant's pen and said, "Boss, your orders."

Lu Jianjun grasped what he did. Overlooking he stated, "Shift Li Na to Versailles Manor."

Lu Jun-hui: "Okay, shift...Li Na to... Versailles ma...What? Hell, No?" Lu Junhui cried out loudly.

Lu Jianjun: "Really? You got a problem?"

Lu Jun-hui quaked."Y-Yes, NO, No. I-I mean why?"

"Follow the orders or you're fired." a deadly voice resounded.

Beep, beep, beep.

'Fired? It's just been a few days since I have joined.' Lu Jun-hui cried.

Minutes after Lu Jianjun left. Elder Li came back to her senses, she took a deep sigh before picking up the file on the table. After keeping it in her bag she went to see her granddaughter.

Inside the room, Li Na dreamt of all the sweet memories she had. Countless memories rolled with a flash of light. Her happiness, laughter, joy, teasing, a few awkward moments with her loved ones. A perfect life. She was the pride of her parents...engaged to the man she loved...she went to meet him...in the end. Zooop!

Reflexively her shoot open. She stared in a daze, but her eyes were filled with shock. The last vision was clear in a high definition image before her eyes. It was of a bullet entering between her brows.

What the fuck? I'm dead!

Suddenly, Li Na felt a sting of pain in her eyes she couldn't endure the tears of sadness, aggression, anger. She never felt like this as if someone had given her a tight slap. The memory played several times in her mind. The up-close penetration she witnessed when she turned to look towards the shuffling sound behind the trees.

'Bloody Hell! I just died. Idiot!'

Disrupted yet oblivious, Li Na lay on the bed without batting her eyes while nourishing her own thoughts. Unaware of her real surroundings.

It was then a nurse, who entered the room saw Li Na wide awake. The nurse immediately turned to call the Doctors.

After a few minutes, Li Na began to realized something. Where am I? Hell or heaven?

Her eyes roamed on the ceiling above her head. Is this a real room or some type of box? Her thinking was beyond the realm of earth. She wasn't interested in the aftermath of life. She felt like resting her eyes forever.

But curiously, her eyes began to move swiftly around the room when her mind popped out of the bubble of the grief of own death, surely this feels real. She was not only conscious but physically alive.

How is this reasonable? Either she should be in hell or heaven? But this does look neither of that. It's a hospital room.

A weak voice buzzed in her head, 'You didn't die?'

Are you kidding me? That's impossible! I saw it with my own eyes. Unacceptable! How can I survive a headshot?

'You're in a hospital.' Her mind was imparting on its own and she can't deny even if she wants to. 'Look, everything is real.' Gradually, her attention was drawn to a shocking reality. Just she perceived that fact.

She clutched the sheets her head spinning in circles as her eyes dimmed before they blackout. Li Na collapsed and fainted while her body drenched in sweat.

"Li Na...Li Na?" A gentle and worrisome voice beside Li Na's ear made her return to her senses. Li Na felt like she was imagining stuff but this call was outer. Her head began to hurt and the earlier pain was coming back.

Elder Li called out to her granddaughter again and again.

'What the fuck? Who's this Li Na? Somebody bring her.' The girl lying on the bed was disturbed as if someone was pestering her deliberately.

"Hm, Li Na." Again. But this time the named buzzed in her head and she felt like it's her name being called out.

This couldn't be hell! Impossible!

Reluctant yet forced, Li Na slowly opened her eyes as an old lady called her again: "Li Na" She glances at the old lady with teary eyes looking at her.

What's happening? Why...?

Then Li Na saw her lying body on the bed and realized she wasn't dreaming at all.

Holy cow! Am I alive? Is this a miracle?

But Wait! Who's is this old lady and why is she calling me Li Na?
