I thought you'll be promoted or higher ranked, at least to be the underboss of State F. Tsk, still no progress, Huh?" Louis laughed mockingly at the man in front of him.

Li Louwu could only grind his teeth and savor the sourness spread in his mouth after been mocked like this. Sincerely, he was serving the underworld for so long yet he couldn't make his own notable place or acquire a position higher like second in command. Although, he came in contact with the underworld when he was imprisoned and sentenced for ten years of jail, falsely accused of 'killing with intent'.

Anyhow, he knew by the time he will be released from prison there won't be anything left for him. And as expected. His Li Empire was thrown into an abyss which has no end and reviving it might take some miracle to happen.

But Li Louwu's thirst for revenge didn't vanish, thus he entered into the world of criminals. And without wealth and power, Li Louwu has nothing to offer to them other than his loyalty. As with the growing years, he became the most trusted person still not much of worth.

He handles small scale work such as drug dealing or labor or girl trafficking. Importing and exporting as per demands. But these jobs were the usual, as every twig of the underworld does that. It was of no big deal like a regular business that can be done by any given person.

Li Louwu was never praised or promoted for his hard work but it wasn't until the underworld suffered a huge blow from the Titans. Thereafter, he was promoted to be the face of an investor, acting just a middle man between two parties.

But discovering a Titan was somewhat challenging. who not only has wealth or power but a desire to do the sacrifices whatever and whenever needed.

In today's era of civilization, the Royal family with a silver spoon doesn't prevail to be an essential bloodline or mainstreaming ruling entities still it didn't make them cornered or ignored. As half of the world's wealth now in the hands of 1% of the population. If classified into three-part, then, Royals weren't to overlook among them after the business Tycoons and world-class leaders as Royals were marked as world's silver.

Every person sited on that single table ruled their boundaries and states and the person who sits on the head chair will be the ultimate ruler of the world. Hence, this was a highly confidential and private union. It was established to encounter the underworld and to retain the rule of law, which can only lead by a worthy man. As if giving him a leadership means giving him an invincible power to hold and control the world. Consequently, that qualified person became rarest among the rare.

 Nine years ago, both Underworld and UoT were going through an unyielding change with new blood taking charge in both the factions. It wasn't an easy decision to designate sovereignty to any man but must be given to a rightful heir.

Underworld doesn't take much time to announce the news as their new ruler which was chosen by the godfather. But UoT was strict in that aspect while taking their own time and hurdles to groom their successor as the race was tough between three suitable individuals. Yet nobody thought had in just the next four years, the result will be so unexpected and unbelievably shocking as their potential successor will fall off and would be compelled to live a normal life.

Just as Louis and Li Louwu were engrossed in their heated argument they were obstructed by sudden silence as music and waves of laughter around them stopped. And the ticking high pitch notes of heel resounded everything paused as she entered the premises.

Her mere presence drew all the attention with her striking personality and sharp eyes boring a sense of dominance, men shuddered to look at her still eyes as if she owned this harem and they were intruders.

Her greetings along with a short welcoming speech for the new members were heard like a notice letter from the king of hell.

Strangely, her words felt pleasing as she was suppressing them regardless many men incited just to be in her presence. If this is another style of a honey trap to reduce the men from bequeathing the crime world then it's effective. She looks like confit worth dying for yet nobody knows who stole her thunder as she had an aura of toughness.

Louis's heart skipped a beat when his eyes accidentally meet hers. Just then she muttered something to a bulky man behind her before that man stomped towards him.

Soon after Louis walked towards the lady as he felt an immeasurable coldness in her vibe, her shaft like straight posture was too dominant to neglect.

There's something unusual about this woman, firstly she's void of emotions as there was no light in her eyes yet she was deadly gorgeous with her rigid body language yet enchanting aura.

"Onyx." She introduced herself flatly extending her left hand instead of the right arm while having an upper hand, building up the strain mentally and physically in the man standing in front of her.

Registering her name, Louis's eyes widened in shock. O-Onyx? The rumored left-hand man of underground's boss and famously known for being fatal as a deadly weapon in human form.

Holy cow! Recovering from his shock. Instantly, Louis took her hand but a creep ran through his spine feeling the hardness of her touch.

She released his hand and said in an offended tone. "You have no etiquettes yet you brag to know Mr. Lu."

Did she overhear my previous conversation? H-How's that possible? Louis was astonished.

'Ha! How much of a fool I could be?...' even these lifeless walls have ears and eyes sharper than an eagle. Every corner was under strict surveillance. Even if some members talked in deciphers words nothing was unheard or unseen.

"At least, learn a few manners for the sake of his reputation." Her words dumbfounded him. She doesn't tolerate uncultured men. He's lucky she didn't crush his hand then and there. This man just stared at her face like a drooling puppy.

Louis was thinking that how he had offended her when he suddenly realized how these people were treated like royalties. And he didn't delay to arching his back and bowed at a 90-degree angle in front of her.

"Pardon me, It's won't happen again..." He apologized immediately but the moment was missed as she cut in sharply.

'What? Oh right, her young master is the prince of the underworld. Does that mean my request was accepted?' Louis thought in his mind unaware of the woman in front because she is not only a top-notch hypnotist but a psychic-telepath also as she can easily read the open mind like a book.

This woman had tortured and broken through the strongest psychological barriers and bodies, through the strength of force and mind... even men begged and cry for mercy when they have left with her alone and Louis was just an insect she can crush with two fingers. Though she's well aware of Louis's little importance to her master she restrained herself.

"Yes, He valued your presence, you have done a good job," she answered but before she turned to leave she caught the glimpse of Li Louwu's face behind Louis's back which was filled with jealousy and anger.

For how long... Li Louwu has waited for this moment to see the face behind the third most hyped named 'Onyx' in the Underground. As tonight was that fateful night. He was also surprised to see a woman but the attention given to Louis was something that washed out everything and ruined his mood.

'What a fool...' she smirked at the middle-age man for not figuring out the purpose he was kept under their care for so many years. She smiled as she can see in the near future his purpose will be served rightfully.
