Due to fever the medication given induces her to relax but it was only effective for a while as gradually her unconsciousness became restless, she began to see things interposed by strange and dreadful sight as her brows furrowed deeply in discomfort.

Suddenly, she found herself trapped somewhere cold, dark and lonesome place in the middle of nowhere. She looked around as there was no light or ray as if she was blindfolded, her eyes absorbed in endless darkness and ominous silence. Anxiety began to creep in slowly like a poisonous snake crawling on to her body. Sensing goosebumps, she took a harsh breath to whisk off the crawling fear and soundless stillness as she stood in the dark while her other senses grew alert and attentive.

Somewhere in her subconscious, she was aware it's just a nightmare but consciously she felt sinking deeper into the surrounding of complete darkness as if stepping into virtual reality.

Sinking into utter silence, she stared mindlessly. The nothingness and emptiness passed by every second felt like she has spent a lifetime in this bleak void and harsh coldness. Until she vaguely heard the series of noises growing from a range like passing by noise as those voices were getting distanced.

In a drop of heartbeat, she recognized those familiar voices and to chase them she dashed towards the sound in the dark with no certain path or direction, blindly following the sounds.

Just as she got closer and sound grew loud, apparent and clear she bumped into something like the surface encapturing her.

"Mei Xing, Promise me! Promise me you won't do that again. Nor you'll go there." She heard her mother's urging voice.

Then a man's voice resounded mocking and ridiculing her. "Oh, please Mei Xing, I've told you many times and I'm telling you again just give up. You can't fight! Just go doll up and fuck your luxurious life. You don't belong here..."

"Baby, How are you? Where are you? Daddy missed you a lot. Come back home, Okay? Sweety, I'll wait for you..." she heard the voice mail played.

"The best way to keep her from escaping is to make sure she never knows she's in prison. Just make sure she stays alive like a prisoner forever." someone mumbled behind her just as she thought of turning back a hand seized her jaw.

"Oh, my love, Mei Xing! You don't even know how much I loved you? Still, you're one hell of a tease. It's pitch black in here and I can see you're blushing. Should I take it as a sign that you're falling for me?" She shivered as the man whispered in her ears in an insanely creepy temper. She yanked and threw the hand away.

"You cheat," a girl's furious voice rang two steps away from her. "Don't you dare touch me...stay away from me and my life, You little bitch! Mei Xing, why does he loves you and not me. Arghh! he's blindly in love with you. I don't understand, what's so special about you? that the guy I met in the bar...thought I was actually you. How many guys did you trick? You trickster! I hate you, I wish for your death..."

"Mei Xing!" instantly, she snapped to the familiar yet distant voice of the man who is close to her heart. Zhang Han!

"Mei Xing, I love you! Do you?" the gentle and loving voice came beyond the walls. The different voices came from all directions and proximities getting tangled up and chaotic. her head felt like exploding. She began hitting the glass as she yelled and screamed but there was no retort as if no one could hear her. In her desperate state, she rapped and tapped...

Out of nowhere, a bolt of light befalls as she squinted her eyes. Like a phantom, a girl stood in front of her, below the focused light as slowly the little girl's lips curled upward staring straight into Mei Xing's eyes the next moment it vanished as she mouthed "Take care!" before Mei Xing could grasp within a flashed the glass floor beneath Mei Xing's feet cracked like she was trapped in a glass room and it shattered into thousands of pieces as if she was thrown into hell... with a loud 'thud' her head hit the abstrusest ground and the red blood filled the entire space and the broken glass pieces struck...and Mei Xing's bruised dead body was left to rot in hell.

Abruptly opening her eyes, Li Na woke up like rousing from abysses of darkness. She sat up gasping and heaving, her heart pounding disorderly, shocked as if she did an adventure that chasm collapses into the black hole...

It took her a while to settled her chaotic heart and mind. The only thing she had seen in that light and remembered apart from endless darkness was Li Na and found her estranged.

"H-Her smile!?" Astonished, she whispered wide-eyed her pupils dilating as if she has never seen a girl smiling like that.

Li Na's vague smile when she looked straight into her eyes and those silent words gave her goosebumps!

Li Na felt her hands trembling out of her control. She took a sharp breath and turn to grab a glass of night at the bedside. She gulped it down and emptied the glass in one go.

"Nightmare! It was just a nightmare! nothing serious." Li Na mumbled as she pacifies her chaotic self. She never took dreams seriously always overlooking as it always envokes unwanted fear and disturbing thoughts.

Momentarily, she shook her head as she sighed audibly. She pulled her sheets and walked inside the bathroom. She went to the sink and washed her face as she looked up and saw her reflection on the mirror.

The face in front of her looks so similar yet felt different than that in her nightmare.

A handprint lightly visible for naked eyes and a cut on her lower lip she paused as she stared at her reflexion remembering the slap and happenings of yesterday evening. Her brows furrowed and her lips tightly pressed.

No wonder, Li Na and Mei-Xing have the same pair of unique eyes probably inherited from someone from their family. And now, Little Tiger also has these pair of eyes. Remembering Little Tiger, Li Na had a small smile on her face.

Taking a deep breath she splashes a handful of cold water on her face. she grabs a towel and gently patted on her face. When suddenly, she recalled that she had fainted in the car.

'Did Lu Jianjun help her again? "Noo..." She keened as her shoulder fell off.

'C'mon! I am being too dependant on that guy?' She thought dejectedly. "It just happened. So, let's stop there!" she scolded herself not to think further or feel soft towards the man and began her morning routine.
