Cho Jigen no Maou Vol 6 Chapter 2

The Bookkeeper's eyes narrowed with determination as she turned towards Saneko. "I won't let that happen," she declared before raising her hands and closing her eyes in concentration. Suddenly, the entire library disappeared, and Saneko found herself floating in the vast emptiness of space.

Saneko looked around, her hair and clothes fluttering in the vacuum of space.

Suddenly, Saneko felt a surge of energy building within her, and she realized that The Bookkeeper was trying to kill her. "You won't be able to kill me!" she said, her voice echoing into the emptiness.

But The Bookkeeper was undaunted. She knew what she had to do, and she was willing to sacrifice everything to stop Saneko. With a final burst of power, she teleported them both to a distant galaxy, far from any inhabited planet.

Saneko started to fly towards The Bookkeeper with determination, but with each movement she made, she noticed the space behind her changed. The stars seemed to shift, planets appeared and disappeared, and reality seemed to warp around her. It was as if The Bookkeeper's reality-warping abilities were so powerful that even the laws of physics were subject to her will.

Despite this, Saneko pushed forward, determined to stop The Bookkeeper from indoctrinating Pikku and twisting reality to her own ends. She gritted her teeth and focused all of her energy on reaching The Bookkeeper, ignoring the chaotic and shifting space behind her.

As she got closer, she could see The Bookkeeper's white robe fluttering in the vacuum of space.

Saneko landed a massive blow onto The Bookkeeper with all the force she could muster. The blow was so intense that it caused the galaxy itself to explode into a shower of cosmic dust and debris. But to Saneko's surprise, The Bookkeeper simply appeared behind her unharmed.

Saneko realized that The Bookkeeper's reality warping abilities were simply too powerful. Every move she made caused the space behind her to warp and change, making it impossible for her to land a decisive blow.

The Bookkeeper quickly teleported Saneko and herself to a higher reality of the layer. As they emerged, Saneko could see that the space around them was completely empty. "This is a higher reality where there were no entities or beings present, only the essence of the layer itself. You can go all out here." The Bookkeeper explained

Saneko laughed, her red hair trailing behind her. "You made a mistake, Bookkeeper," she said, grinning.

The Bookkeeper looked at Saneko calmly, seemingly unimpressed. "Do what you must," she said, folding her hands.

Saneko's eyes blazed with power as she lifted her hand, calling forth a massive burst of energy. The entire reality shook as she unleashed a barrage of attacks, each one more powerful than the last.

As Saneko charged at The Bookkeeper, her power grew stronger with every second, her speed and strength reaching unprecedented levels. She hit The Bookkeeper with such force that they flew through the endless reality of the higher layer they were in.

As they flew, Saneko's speed increased to a point where she was breaking out of the reality they were in, leaving behind a trail of destruction. The Bookkeeper struggled to keep up with Saneko's power, but she remained composed, her eyes locked onto Saneko's every move.

The Bookkeeper quickly realized that the destruction they were causing was too much for the current reality they were in. With a snap of her hands, they were suddenly transported to another higher reality.

Saneko was momentarily taken aback, but she quickly regained her focus and charged at The Bookkeeper once again. This time, she was moving even faster than before, leaving a trail of energy in her wake.

The Bookkeeper braced herself and attempted to block Saneko's attack, but as she raised her hands, Saneko suddenly split into twenty clones. The Bookkeeper was disoriented by this sudden move and struggled to defend herself against the barrage of attacks from all directions.

The clones were fast and nimble, darting around The Bookkeeper and landing blows that sent shockwaves through the empty reality they were in. The Bookkeeper tried to counterattack, but she found it difficult to keep up with the sheer speed and agility of the clones.

As the fight continued, it became apparent that Saneko's clones were not just copies of her physical body, but also her consciousness. Each clone had its own mind, its own will, and its own fighting style. The Bookkeeper found herself facing not just one opponent, but twenty unique combatants.

As the clones of Saneko launched their attacks, The Bookkeeper was bombarded from all sides. She tried to block and dodge their blows, but the sheer number of clones made it impossible. After a while, she had enough and her eyes glowed with a bright light. Suddenly, all the clones were erased as if they had never existed.

Saneko was shocked by the display of power. She had never seen anyone match her own strength and speed before.

Saneko smiled as she raised her hands, attempting to erase The Bookkeeper herself. However, to her surprise, it had no effect.

The Bookkeeper looked at Saneko with a calm expression and explained, "I cannot be erased in any way, Saneko. I am beyond life and death."

Saneko sneered at The Bookkeeper's explanation of being beyond life and death, "I don't believe that for a second. I can kill anything and anyone. Watch me!"

With that, Saneko raised her hand and concentrated all of her energy into an erasure technique that would erase the idea of a being from every reality.

As Saneko's attack hit The Bookkeeper, it was so powerful that it erased not just the current reality they were in, but also the infinite set of higher realities above them. The two were left floating in a dark, empty space with no light or sound.

Despite the immense power of the attack, The Bookkeeper simply stood still, unaffected. Saneko's attack failed to erase her, and she looked puzzled and confused.

As they floated in the dark space, The Bookkeeper spoke up, her voice echoing into the void. "Saneko," she said, "you must understand that I am not just any being. I am the embodiment of everything that will ever exist."

Saneko scoffed. "What does that even mean?" she asked. "It sounds like more nonsense."

"It means," The Bookkeeper replied, "that any attempt to kill me would simply recreate my existence. I am beyond death. no erasure technique can erase me."

Saneko's expression turned to one of frustration. "I will kill you!" she yelled.

"No you won't." The Bookkeeper said calmly.

The Bookkeeper touched Saneko, a loud and deafening scream echoed throughout the empty void they were in. Saneko's body began to shake violently, as if being torn apart by an invisible force. The colors of her body began to blur and fade away until she completely disappeared into nothingness.

The Bookkeeper remained still, with her hand still extended as if nothing had happened. She closed her eyes and let out a deep breath before slowly retracting her hand.

The Bookkeeper closed her eyes and focused on her teleportation abilities, preparing to return to the original reality. She could feel the immense power coursing through her being, ready to transport her back to her home dimension.

But just as she was about to activate her abilities, a voice whispered in her ear, causing her to pause. The voice was familiar, but she couldn't quite place it.

"Where do you think you're going?" the voice said.

The Bookkeeper turned around and was shocked to see Saneko standing before her. Her eyes widened in disbelief as she gazed upon the being she had thought she had erased from existence. "How...how is this possible?" The Bookkeeper stammered.

Saneko looked much different. Her hair, horns, and clothes were now bright blue, and it looked as if galaxies swirled within her hair.

Saneko looked at The Bookkeeper with a sense of calmness and explained, "This is my perfected demon form. In this state, I need no consciousness, and I can exist as long as I want to exist."

The Bookkeeper was amazed by the power emanating from Saneko's form. She had never seen anything like it before. It was as if the entire universe was within her.

Saneko continued, "I have realized that I am not bound by the laws of reality. I am beyond them. I can shape reality as I see fit. And now, I choose to use my power for the greater good."

The Bookkeeper tried to charge at Saneko, but as she moved towards her, she found herself unable to close the distance.

"Why can't I touch you?" The Bookkeeper asked, struggling to move.

Saneko laughed, her voice echoing through the void. "In this form," she said, "I decide what happens. It's my story now."
