Cho Jigen no Maou Vol 5 Chapter 1

Cadaza was always fascinated with music, constantly talking about musical instruments as a child.

Cadaza's parents had always encouraged her curious and creative nature, and so it came as no surprise to them when they noticed their daughter's love for music. It started with simple things - tapping her feet to the rhythm of a song or humming along to a melody - but before long, Cadaza was spending all her free time listening to music and exploring the world of sound.

Her parents decided to nurture her interest by buying her a piano. It was an old and battered instrument, with chipped ivory keys and a dulled finish, but Cadaza loved it all the same. She would sit for hours, plunking out simple melodies and experimenting with different chords and harmonies. Her parents could see the joy and wonder in their daughter's eyes as she played.

One day, while playing the piano, Cadaza discovered that she had a unique ability to manipulate sound. She found that by playing certain notes or frequencies, she could cause objects to vibrate or shatter, or even create powerful shockwaves that could knock people off their feet.

Despite being of the Hyper-World, she seemed to be a normal child in every way, so her parents had never suspected that she possessed the ability to manipulate sound. So when Cadaza excitedly told her parents about her newfound powers, they were understandably skeptical.

"Are you sure you're not just imagining things?" her father asked, trying to sound reassuring but failing to conceal his disbelief.

"I swear it's true!" Cadaza insisted, frustration creeping into her voice. "I can make things vibrate with just my voice, or with my hands. Listen!"

Cadaza put her hand out in front of her, and a high-pitched sound erupted from her palm, resonating through the room. Her parents were shocked, their eyes widening as they realized the extent of their daughter's powers.

For a moment, there was a stunned silence as they processed what they had just witnessed. But then Cadaza's mother, a scientist herself, began to ask questions, probing for details about how Cadaza's power worked and what she could do with it. Cadaza was only too happy to oblige, and soon they were all caught up in a lively discussion about sound waves and vibration frequencies.

As much as Cadaza's parents were amazed and intrigued by their daughter's ability to manipulate sound, they also harbored a deep sense of unease. They knew that their family was one of the few in the Hyper-World without any magical abilities, and they worried that Cadaza's powers would set her apart from them.

At first, they tried to discourage Cadaza from using her powers, hoping that she would be content to live a normal life. They would gently remind her that she was still just a girl, and that there was more to life than just her magical abilities. They encouraged her to focus on her studies and her friendships, and to find joy in the simple pleasures of life.

Cadaza began to understand her parents' concerns more deeply. She realized that having magical abilities made her different from them, and that it could be a source of fear and mistrust for those who did not understand her powers.

In her heart, Cadaza longed to use her abilities to help others and make a difference in the world.

Finally, one day, Cadaza made a difficult decision. She would seal away her powers, and live a normal life like her parents had always wanted. It was a painful choice, but she knew it was the right one for her and for her family.

For a while, Cadaza was content with her decision. She enjoyed the simplicity and predictability of her life, and she felt grateful for the support and love of her family. But deep down, she could not forget the power that she had once possessed. She longed to use her abilities again, to explore the limits of what she could do.

One day a giant demon attacked, Cadaza was at home with her parents. They had just finished dinner when they heard the sounds of destruction outside. They looked out the window and saw the demon, towering over the city like a malevolent god.

Panic gripped Cadaza's heart. She had never seen anything like it before. Other magic users were already on the scene, trying to stop the demon with their own powers. But the demon was too powerful, and one by one, the magic users were consumed by its dark energy.

Cadaza begged her parents to let her use her powers, but they refused. They told her that it was too dangerous to go outside.

Cadaza began to plead once more. "Please let me go outside, I know I can stop it." But before Cadaza could finish her sentence they heard the foot of the demon breaking through the basement ceiling.

As the giant foot crashed through the basement, Cadaza's world was turned upside down. She watched in horror as her parents were crushed before her eyes, their bodies crushed beneath the weight of the demon's massive form.

Cadaza was frozen in terror. She was traumatized by the event and couldn't move, even as the creature continued to wreak havoc on the city. Eventually, her shock turned to anger, and she ran off into the woods.

Over time, Cadaza's hatred for the Hyper-World grew stronger. She blamed them for their inability to stop the demon and for allowing her parents to die. She also developed a deep loathing for the Demon King, who she believed had summoned the beast in the first place.

In the woods, Cadaza honed her abilities with sound, using them to create destructive force fields and deadly shockwaves. She became obsessed with the idea of exacting revenge on the Hyper-World and the Demon King, and she vowed to use her powers to bring them down.

As the years passed, Cadaza's hatred for the Hyper-World and the Demon King only grew stronger. Every year, on the anniversary of her parents' death, she would use her abilities to wreak havoc on the city. Her attacks were always focused on the Hyper-World, and she made sure that they felt the full force of her powers.

The citizens of the city came to fear the anniversary of Cadaza's attack, and they would take shelter in their homes, praying that they would not be caught in her destructive wake. The Hyper-World would always respond with their own magical countermeasures, but they were never enough to stop Cadaza's onslaught.

Cadaza saw her annual attacks as a way to honor her parents' memory and to remind the Hyper-World of the pain they had caused her. She refused to let their deaths be forgotten, and she made sure that the entire city knew that they were responsible.

Saneko's eyes flickered towards Cadaza as she shook her head slightly. "I'm done hearing your life story," she muttered under her breath, "I don't care about her past."

Cadaza looked at Saneko, her confusion apparent on her face. "How do you know about my past? I never told you anything," she asked, her voice laced with suspicion.

As Cadaza noticed Saneko's horns, she gasped in shock and realization. Her expression quickly turned into one of anger.

"You're the Demon King," Cadaza growled, her voice shaking with fury.

Cadaza snarled, her anger boiling over. "I'll destroy you and everything you stand for!" She said getting ready to throw the energy spheres she had created, but Saneko was ready for her, and with a wave of her hand, she destroyed the spheres in a burst of dark energy. "You're not very good at this, are you?" She said with a smirk.

Cadaza's screams intensified as her aura grew stronger, causing the very ground beneath them to shake. She was filled with anger and hatred towards Saneko, her eyes glowing red with fury. It seemed as though she was about to unleash a devastating attack that would destroy the entire layer with her presence alone.

But Saneko was quick to react. She closed her eyes and created a white void around them, protecting the layer from Cadaza's destructive power. The void was an endless empty space with no sound or light, where nothing could exist.

Cadaza quickly recreated the concept of sound in this realm and was ready to kill the Demon King.

Saneko stood in front of Cadaza with a calm and collected demeanor. "Go ahead," she said, gesturing for Cadaza to unleash her frustration on her. "It wouldn't even hurt me."

Saneko's words were spoken in a passive-aggressive tone, which only seemed to fuel Cadaza's rage even further. Cadaza's aura grew stronger, and she began to lash out with sound waves, trying to strike Saneko with everything she had.

Saneko calmly stood there as Cadaza fired sound waves at her, but they had no effect. This made Cadaza's rage only intensify. Saneko then used her ability, Quantum View, to see Cadaza's magic value, which was rapidly increasing by the millions with each passing second.

As Cadaza completely unsealed her power, the calm and innocent demeanor she had earlier was completely erased. Her eyes were now glowing with a menacing energy, and her entire being was consumed with an intense desire for revenge against Saneko.

Saneko laughed at the sight of Cadaza's transformation. Cadaza now had unlimited control over sound.
