Cho Jigen no Maou Vol 4 Chapter 2

Saneko and Pikku arrived at the final destination, which was a dense forest. Saneko closed her eyes and tried to detect the final percentage, but to her surprise, she realized that they were already being encompassed by it. She opened her eyes and looked around, but there was nothing out of the ordinary.

Saneko concentrated harder and tried to sense the presence of what was causing the final percentage. After a few moments, she realized that it was an the abstract being that that wasn't physical in nature.

Pikku looked at Saneko, who seemed lost in thought, and asked her if she found something. Saneko opened her eyes and turned to face Pikku, "Yes, there is something here, an abstract being of some sort that is causing the final percentage. It exists outside the boundaries of the physical world.

Pikku looked around but could see nothing. "How do we deal with it?" she asked.

Pikku looks at Saneko with a puzzled expression and asks, "Saneko, I thought the beings on higher levels aren't detected on lower levels.

Saneko looked at Pikku, trying to explain the concept as simply as possible. "Imagine this layer is a piece of paper with a line drawn in the middle. The being is on that piece of paper, but it's existing above the line. Does that make sense?"

Pikku tilted her head, clearly still struggling to understand. "So, it's here, but not really here?"

Saneko nodded. "Exactly. Each layer has higher realities of it's own."

"How are you going to defeat this being then?" Pikku asked.

Saneko raised her hand, and the air around her began to shimmer. "I can converge time and space," she said. "If I do that, all of the realities in the second layer will combine."

Pikku looked at Saneko, wide-eyed. "You can do that?"

Saneko nodded. "Of course. It would be much more convenient than trying to transcend to that reality, just for a small percentage."

Pikku thought for a moment. "But wouldn't that mean that all the different realities would become one? Wouldn't that be dangerous?"

Saneko smiled. "Not necessarily. It would just mean that the different realities would combine, creating a new reality."

Saneko closed her eyes and concentrated. She could feel the different realities around her, the different strands of time and space that made up the second layer. She reached out with her magic, pulling them all together, weaving them into a single, unified whole.

As Saneko's magic converged time and space, suddenly all the beings encompassing the world became visible. They were the representation of calamity in the second layer. Pikku's eyes widened as she took in the sight of these malevolent entities. They were grotesque and twisted, with jagged edges and colors that seemed to hurt her eyes.

Saneko didn't seem fazed, however. She stood tall, with her eyes fixed on the swirling mass of darkness before her.

The beings let out a deafening screech. They surged forward, ready to attack. Saneko's hands were glowing with an intense light. She unleashed a powerful blast of energy, striking the beings and dispersing them into nothingness.

Saneko observed as more and more of these beings appeared in the newly combined layer. She could sense their malevolent intent and knew that as long as the second layer existed, calamity would always be present.

Suddenly, a realization hit her. These conceptual entities were not natural to the layer. They were created by someone or something else.

Saneko swiftly turned to Pikku. "Pikku, these beings, they were created by the Lord of Heavens. As long as the second layer exists, calamity will also exist."

Saneko then tried to erase their souls, but to no avail. These beings were not of mind body or soul.

"There seems to be no other choice." Saneko said in a grave manner.

Suddenly, Pikku found herself in a state of complete darkness, unable to see anything around her. She couldn't even see her own hands in front of her face. She started to panic, feeling completely alone and disoriented. She called out to Saneko, but her voice seemed to disappear into the void.

Pikku tried to move around, but she felt like she was floating in space. She had no sense of direction or movement. She couldn't move, and everything around her was still. She was in a world where time was meaningless, and the void seemed to have swallowed her whole.

Pikku felt a sudden shift and then found herself back in the Hyper-World. She was disoriented and tears were streaming down her face. Saneko was there, watching her with a worried expression.

"What happened?" Pikku asked, her voice trembling.

Saneko placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Those beings had an unalterable tie to the layer, so I had to recreate the entire layer."

Pikku looked at Saneko in disbelief. "You recreated the entire world?"

Saneko nodded solemnly. "Yes. It was the only way to destroy the beings and save the second layer from calamity."

Pikku couldn't believe what she was hearing. It was one thing to know that Saneko had incredible power, but to hear that she had recreated an entire world was inconceivable.

Saneko turned to Pikku and said, "We can move on to the third layer now."

Pikku looked at Saneko, still a little shaken from their experience in the second layer, and asked, "Are you sure we're ready?"

Saneko nodded confidently. "The meter reads 0."

Pikku took a deep breath and nodded. "Okay, let's do it."

Saneko's body began to emit a bright, blinding light. The sparks started at her fingertips, slowly moving up her arms, until they consumed her entire body. The energy radiating from her body was so intense that it made the very air around them vibrate with power.

Pikku felt a rush of excitement mixed with fear as she watched Saneko's transformation. She had never seen anything like it before. As the sparks reached Saneko's head, her hair rose up, as if caught in an invisible breeze. Her eyes glowed even brighter, illuminating the area around them.

Ascending to the third layer took much more power than ascending to the second layer, but after a few moments, Saneko had entered the world.

"Welcome to the third layer," Saneko said.

Pikku looked around, taking in the sight of the third layer. She was amazed by the beauty and complexity of it. Everything seemed to glow with a soft light, and the air was filled with a pleasant aroma that she couldn't quite place. It was as if she was seeing a whole new world.

As she looked around, she noticed that they were standing right in front of a magnificent castle. It was huge, with tall towers and walls that seemed to stretch on forever. The castle was made of a shimmering material that sparkled in the light, and it looked like something out of a fairy tale.

Saneko noticed Pikku's awe. "I was right, it looks like the cathedral must have had an effect on you. It's allowing you to see higher dimensional constructs."

Pikku nodded, trying to wrap her head around how that was possible.

Saneko pointed to a large gate at the base of the castle. "That's our way in," she said.

Pikku looks up at the towering castle, feeling a mix of curiosity and apprehension. She turns to Saneko and asks, "Is it okay to just go inside like this? What if we're not supposed to be here?"

Saneko gives a small smile and replies, "Where else are we supposed to go? It won't hurt to take a look."

Pikku nods, still feeling unsure, but trusting Saneko's judgment. They walk towards the castle's entrance, and as they get closer, they notice the intricate details of the architecture. The castle walls are adorned with carvings of mythical creatures and ornate patterns that seem to glow in the sunlight.

As they enter the castle, they find themselves in a grand hall with high ceilings and polished marble floors. The walls are lined with statues of knights and kings, each one seeming to come to life with the flickering of the torches.

"This place is amazing," Pikku whispers to Saneko."

Saneko nods, a hint of a smile on her face. "Indeed it is."

They continue walking through the castle, their footsteps echoing through the empty halls. As they turn a corner, they see a door at the end of the hall that seems to be emitting a strange aura. Saneko immediately notices this and stops in her tracks.

"What is it?" Pikku asks.

Saneko replies, "I sense a powerful energy coming from that door. We must be cautious."

Pikku nods, and they slowly approach the door. As they get closer, the aura becomes stronger, and they can feel the power emanating from the room behind the door. Saneko takes a deep breath and opens the door.

They are greeted by a blinding light that fills the room. As their eyes adjust, they see a figure sitting on a throne, its face obscured by the brightness. The figure speaks, its voice echoing throughout the room.

"Who are you? What brings you to my realm?"
