Cho Jigen no Maou Vol 1 Chapter 3

As Saneko looked around the city she had just repaired, she noticed a young girl looking at her with awe. The girl had a strange expression on her face, as if she knew something that others didn't. Saneko approached her and asked if she was okay.

The girl nodded and introduced herself as Pikku Pachin. She explained that she had an ability called Retrocognition, which allowed her to see when time had been altered. Saneko was surprised, as the ability she had just used rewrote time and prevented anyone from remembering the past.

Pikku then begged to join Saneko, explaining that there were many evil people in the Hyper-World and that Saneko was strong enough to protect her. Saneko smirked and explained that she would be useless. Saneko's transformation had caused her to grow blunt and cold.

Despite this, Pikku persisted, pleading for Saneko's help so she wouldn't fall victim to the evil of the Hyper-World.

Saneko looks at Pikku coldly and asks, "What are your powers? Don't waste my time with useless abilities."

Pikku hesitates for a moment before responding, "I have already told you, I have an ability called Retrocognition. It allows me to sense when time has been altered."

Saneko scoffs, "That's it? How is that supposed to be useful in the Hyper-World?"

Pikku looks down, but then looks back up at Saneko with determination. "I know it may not seem like much, but I can sense when someone has altered time, which means I can help you detect any threats that may try to change the course of events.

Saneko starts laughing in such a way that causes Pikku to grow uncomfortable. "As the Demon King I can surely create that same ability for my self, you are of no help to me." She scoffs.

After hearing this, Pikku starts to back away in fear and start trembling in fear of the Demon King. After a while, Pikku calms down and realizes that the demon king has been reborn to kill evil. Once again, Pikku beggs to join Saneko, however, she maintains her cold attitude towards Pikku and refuses to let her join. Pikku continues to plead with Saneko, saying that if she can journey with her, she could get stronger and defend herself.

Saneko, annoyed by the girl, starts thinking about killing her, but instead she reluctantly agrees because if Pikku gets in the way, she will die anyway.

Saneko turned around as she heard a group magic users from the human realm approach, their expressions a mix of confusion and anger as they saw the city they thought destroyed now fully intact. They immediately noticed Saneko, recognizing her as the Demon King, and began to shout accusations at her. Saneko simply smiled at them, a wicked grin spreading across her face.

Without warning, the magic users began to shoot powerful magic bullets at Saneko, their attacks capable of cutting through even the hardest steel. However, to their shock, their attacks simply bounced off of Saneko's body, leaving her completely unharmed.

Saneko started harnessing a dark energy from her hands, ready to end their lives. After all, they had threatened her.

Pikku immediately panics and yells at the magic users to get away, warning them that Saneko is too powerful. But they don't listen and continue to shoot at Saneko with their magic bullets. Saneko simply stands there, her body unharmed by the attacks.

Saneko looks at Pikku and remembers that they were simply trying to save humanity from the dangers of the Hyper-World. Saneko dissolved the dark energy she was harnessing, and instead put her out which ceased the barrage of magic bullets. The magic users were shocked, they were unable to use any magical abilities. They eached used Quantum View.

Defence = 0

This read for every single one of them. Saneko had destroyed their powers, and they instantly ran away in fear. As the magic users flee, Pikku turns to Saneko in amazement. "how do you have the power to end people's magic like that," she exclaims. Saneko just laughs. "The Demon King has many powers." she says with a smirk. It seemed as if Saneko was quickly understanding the powers she was given.

Pikku nods in understanding, still in awe of Saneko's power. They continue on their journey, with Saneko leading the way and Pikku following closely behind.

As they walk, Pikku can't help but think about the incredible strength and power that Saneko possesses. She wonders what other abilities she has yet to reveal.

Pikku was still scared of the idea that the Demon King had been reborn, but she still feels safe with Saneko by her side. She knows that as long as she stays with the Demon King, she will be protected from the dangerous and evil beings that inhabit the Hyper-World.
