Cho Jigen no Maou Vol 2 Chapter 1

Aurelian was once hailed as a hero in the Hyper-World country of Kalanda. He had always been different from most other people and possessed a strong affinity for magic. When he was a teenager, he used his powers to save an entire village from a group of raiders who were terrorizing the countryside. This act of heroism earned him the respect and admiration of many people.

As Aurelian grew older, he became even more powerful, and his feats of heroism continued to amaze those around him. He saved countless lives, protected entire cities from dangerous beasts, and even helped to prevent a war between two powerful kingdoms.

People adored Aurelian and showered him with gifts and honors, including a medal from the King himself. However, Aurelian's life took a dark turn when he accidentally caused the death of innocent bystanders during a fight with a giant golem.

The King of Kalanda looked at Aurelian with a stern expression, disappointment evident in his eyes. "Aurelian, you have always been our hero, and we have praised you for your bravery and strength. But your actions have caused irreversible damage. You were careless and reckless in your fight with the golem, and innocent lives were lost as a result. This cannot be forgiven, and I must disown you as our hero."

After being disowned by the king, rumors spread that Aurelian purposefully killed the bystanders. He became an outcast in the country of Kalanda. People avoided him, whispered behind his back, and treated him like a pariah. This slowly started to take a toll on his mental health. He felt alone, abandoned, and betrayed by the very people he had dedicated his life to protecting.

As the days went by, Aurelian's isolation became more pronounced, and he began to spiral into madness. He spent most of his days in solitude, brooding over the perceived injustices he had suffered at the hands of the people he once called his own. He grew increasingly resentful, and his anger began to consume him.

Eventually, Aurelian's rage became too much for him to contain. He thought that he would just become the villain people thought he was, at least he would have a purpose then.

He began to lash out at anyone who crossed his path, using his formidable telekinetic and magical abilities to wreak havoc on the towns and cities he passed through. People trembled in fear at the mere mention of his name, and many whispered that he had become a monster.

He roamed the Hyper-World, destroying everything in his path. He took pleasure in the destruction he caused and reveled in the fear and panic of those around him.

His descent into madness was complete, and there seemed to be no turning back. The once-heroic Aurelian had become a villain, feared and despised by all who encountered him.

As Saneko and Pikku entered a new city, they were immediately hit with the sight of death and destruction. The ground was littered with mangled corpses and the buildings were torn apart. Pikku couldn't bear to look and turned her head away in disgust.

Saneko, on the other hand, laughed maniacally at the sight before her. "Ha! Look at this mess! Someone's been having some fun," she remarked, as she kicked aside a decapitated head.

Pikku was taken aback by Saneko's lack of empathy. "How can you laugh at this? These people had families and loved ones," she said, her voice shaking with emotion.

Saneko rolled her eyes. "Oh, come on. It's not like we knew any of them. Besides, I will end up killing whoever did this eventually."

Pikku was infuriated by Saneko's callousness. "Don't be cocky!" she spat. "Detect whoever did this and kill them now."

Before Saneko could respond, the sky turned dark, as if it were responding to someone's presence. Suddenly, a figure appeared before them. It was Aurelian, the very villain who had caused this destruction.

Saneko's eyes lit up with excitement. "Well, well, well. You must be the one who did this," she taunted.

Aurelian's expression was cold and calculating. "I sensed more victims in this city. You two will make fine additions to my collection," he said, as he began to levitate off the ground.

Aurelian reached out his hand as he unleashed a barrage of energy beams towards Saneko and Pikku. Pikku quickly jumped behind Saneko for cover, while Saneko stood her ground with a confident smirk on her face. The beams had no effect on her, as she stood still with an evil grin.

Aurelian's expression turned into one of surprise and curiosity. "You must not be a normal human," he said with a hint of intrigue in his voice. "But that doesn't matter. I will kill you both anyway."

Saneko chuckled at his arrogance. "Go ahead." She taunted.

As Aurelian raised his hands, Saneko's eyes widened as she recognized the energy that was gathering in his palms. "Pikku, get behind me!" she shouted, creating a spherical shield around her. Aurelian's hands glowed with a powerful magic known as Oblivion, capable of erasing the mind, body, and soul of anyone touched by it.

Pikku braced herself as Aurelian unleashed the ball of Oblivion towards them. The blast destroyed everything in a ten-mile radius, leaving behind a cloud of dust and debris. But when the dust cleared, Saneko stood unscathed, smirking slyly at Aurelian.

"I knew what that ability was," she said, as Aurelian looked at her in shock. "But as the Demon King, my mind and soul exist on completely different planes of existence, and my body is immortal, and your attacks cannot harm me."

Aurelian gritted his teeth in frustration as he realized that he had underestimated Saneko's power.

Aurelian then made the cloud start raining hellfire, but his rage only intensified as Saneko remained unharmed and her shield protected Pikku from his hellfire. He conjured up even greater power, causing the sky to thunder and crackle with bolts of lightning. Suddenly, the sky began to rain down fiery meteors that could disintegrate even an immortal being's body. Pikku trembled in fear, but Saneko reassured her that she was safe inside the shield.

Saneko raised her hand to the sky and a blinding light shone forth from her palm. The clouds parted and the fiery rain ceased. Aurelian stared at Saneko in disbelief as he felt a flicker of fear for the first time in decades.

"You're more powerful than I thought," Aurelian said through gritted teeth. "But don't get too cocky, little girl. I've got plenty more tricks up my sleeve."

Saneko merely smiled and replied, "show me them then."

Aurelian uses a powerful magical force to bring a planet crashing down into the Hyper-World. As the planet descended towards the Hyper-World, Saneko knew that she had to act quickly. She focused her energy and teleported Pikku outside of the blast radius, protecting her with the shield. The impact of the planet crushed Saneko, and Aurelian laughed triumphantly, thinking that he had finally killed the Demon King. Pikku saw the destruction and started screaming and crying, thinking that Saneko had died.

Saneko emerged from the rubble, unfazed by the destruction around her. With a bored expression, she teleported directly in front of Aurelian and extended her hand towards his head. Confusion flickered across Aurelian's face before his head suddenly exploded.

Saneko then turned her attention to Pikku, teleporting her back and removing the shield that protected her. Pikku ran towards Saneko, her eyes still wet with tears. As she reached her friend, she hugged her tightly, trembling with fear. "Saneko, I was so scared. I thought you were crushed," she said, her voice shaking.

Saneko patted Pikku's head, she says, "Don't worry, you should know by now that I'm not so easily defeated." Pikku nods, a small smile forming on her face as she regains her composure. "I know that now," she says.

Saneko smiled and with that, Saneko and Pikku set off, ready to face whatever challenges awaited them.
