Cho Jigen no Maou Vol 3 Chapter 5

Saneko and Pikku walked on in the seemingly never-ending darkness, their footsteps echoing through the empty space. As they moved forward, Saneko noticed something strange. "Pikku, we are going in circles?" she said calmly.

Pikku looked around in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"I mean, we're not making any progress. It feels like we're going in an infinite loop," Saneko explained.

Pikku nodded, understanding dawning on her face. "You're right. It's like we're not even moving."

Saneko sighed. "This must be some kind of looping world."

As they traversed through the never-ending darkness, Pikku's fear grew with each passing moment. She whispered to Saneko, "Do you think we'll ever get out of here?" Pikku shuddered at the thought of being trapped in this endless maze forever.

Saneko closed her eyes. Suddenly, a glowing sword materialized in her hand.

Saneko swung the sword with incredible speed, slicing through the darkness like a hot knife through butter. The world around them shattered like glass, and they found themselves standing in a new location.

Pikku's eyes widened as she looked around the new world that had appeared before her. It looked like an arena, with tall walls on each side, but there was no one there.

"Saneko, where are we?" Pikku asked, her voice filled with wonder.

Saneko looked around the arena, scanning the area for any signs of danger. "I'm not sure," she replied, her tone curious.

As Saneko and Pikku were exploring the arena, a sudden dome covered the roof above them, causing them to look up in surprise. From the center of the dome, a man emerged, introducing himself as Xalanthor, his name sounding otherworldly and ancient.

"You have come far, but your journey ends here," Xalanthor said, his voice echoing across the empty arena.

Saneko scoffed at Xalanthor's words. "You must be another person who will fail to kill the Demon King." she said, her voice dripping with arrogance.

Xalanthor, however, was unlike any enemy they had faced before. He didn't play fair. Without warning, he stomped the ground beneath them, causing the entire arena to shake.

Pikku stumbled and fell to the ground, struggling to get back up. Saneko, on the other hand, stood her ground.

Saneko nonchalantly summoned a massive fireball in her hand and threw it at Xalanthor, hitting him directly in the face, but Xalanthor was unfazed. He merely smirked and raised his hand, and suddenly, Pikku found herself unable to move.

Xalanthor laughed. "You see, I don't fight fair," he said with malice in his tone. "I will end this quickly."

As Xalanthor charged towards them, Saneko remained calm and composed. She watched as he approached. Just as he was about to land a blow on her, Saneko simply held out her hand and stopped him in his tracks.

Xalanthor was surprised and confused. He had used a spell known as Nerve Lock, which should have paralyzed Saneko and made her unable to move. Yet here she was, holding him back effortlessly.

Saneko's eyes glistened with amusement as she effortlessly threw Xalanthor into one of the walls of the arena.

Xalanthor slowly rose to his feet, unaffected by the impact of being thrown into the wall by Saneko. His eyes glowed with a menacing light as he raised his hands, ready to unleash his full power upon the Demon King.

Saneko could sense the immense power radiating from Xalanthor. His magic value of 207,503,220 was staggering. Saneko had never faced an opponent with such an overwhelming level of power before.

Xalanthor looked straight at Saneko and said, "I know you killed Cela. You must feel proud of yourself." He said with a sarcastic tone. "Cela only had a magic value of 4,052,200." He concluded.

Pikku's eyes widened in shock as she realized that Cela, who was capable of destroying entire planets, had a significantly lower magic value compared to Xalanthor. She couldn't believe that someone as powerful as Cela could be considered irrelevant in the presence of Xalanthor.

Saneko didn't seem fazed by Xalanthor's declaration. She simply crossed her arms. "That's not very impressive." She states with no emotion in her voice.

Xalanthor grinned as he lifted his hand, energy crackling around his fingers. "Very well then, let me show you just a fraction of my magic abilities," he said before unleashing a barrage of energy beams. The beams were so hot that they could melt through an entire planet in an instant. The beams also left behind residue that was just as hot.

Xalanthor watched as his barrage of energy beams hit Saneko, but to his surprise, she simply wiped off the residue like it was nothing. He chuckled to himself, impressed by Saneko's strength. "Well, well, you are tougher than I thought," Xalanthor said, grinning.

Xalanthor had the unique ability to exchange his stamina for an increase in the heat of his attacks. His stamina value was in the billions, allowing him to enhance his fire by 500 million units. This made his already powerful energy beams even more deadly, capable of melting through entire galaxies.

He fired off another barrage of beams, each one hotter than the last, but Saneko simply stood there, her hair fluttering in the wind caused by the beams. Xalanthor realized that his attacks were useless against her.

Xalanthor, frustrated by Saneko's lack of response to his attacks, shifted his attention to Pikku, who was still paralyzed from his earlier Nerve Lock. Without hesitation, he fired his beams at her, hoping to hit his new target. Saneko reacted quickly, covering Pikku in a magic shield that absorbed the impact of the beams. The shield crackled with energy, but held strong against the assault.

Pikku, still unable to move, watched in horror as the beams struck the shield around her. She could feel the intense heat radiating through the shield, but she was unharmed.

Finally, with a frustrated growl, Xalanthor turned his attention back to Saneko, his eyes gleaming with a dangerous intensity. "You may be strong, but you cannot protect her forever," he sneered.

Saneko stood tall, her eyes glowing with a bright red light as she spoke to Xalanthor with a commanding tone. "I can protect Pikku forever," she declared, "and in every reality, I have done so."

With those words, Saneko's gaze locked onto Xalanthor's, and he saw in his mind's eye a vision of countless alternate realities. In each one, Saneko stood between Pikku and Xalanthor, protecting her from harm with an unbreakable shield of magic.

Xalanthor was stunned, his mind reeling from the sheer power of Saneko's abilities. He had never encountered someone with such mastery over the fabric of reality itself. For the first time in his life, he felt a deep sense of fear, knowing that he was outmatched.

As Saneko continued to gaze into his eyes, Xalanthor stumbled back, his hands shaking with terror. He also saw that in every reality, Saneko would kill him.

Xalanthor was released from Saneko's lock, and within an instant, Saneko had plunged her fist into Xalanthor's chest causing him to collapse to the ground lifeless.

Saneko walked over to Pikku and removed the magic shield protecting her, which had kept her paralyzed and safe from Xalanthor's attacks. Pikku slowly moved her arms and legs, testing her movements as she regained control over her body.

Saneko turned to Pikku and said, "We're getting close to the source of calamity and evil in the Hyper-World's second layer." She materialized her sword and sliced through the fabric of reality, once again bringing them into a new area.
