Luke put down the sketchbook and goes to the biggest box on the table, he opens it then starts to take out the paint. "It was probably for the best that you did not open this box and take out its contents. I have not thought of what I wanted yet but I will think about it today. I am more concerned over you and the baby then some prize." He smiles and then adds the empty box to the rest. "At least we can start painting after we sketch everything on the walls."

Kitty smiles and looks at Luke. 'Leo did a wonderful job of raising him all on his own. I am truly blessed with a wonderful partner.' She opened the last box and looked at all the items on the table. "Yes, we are lucky the paint came so quickly. It might be because I messaged the person who makes the paint and told her I would be ordering these colors next. So she probably made them before I placed the order. I have ordered paint from her many times so we chat here and there." Kitty picked up the pale blue color.

"Oh, I see. That is good that you had that connection." Luke smiles and looks at Kitty.

The front door opens and no one notices. Leo slowly walks towards the kitchen and watches the two chatting away. He walks up behind Kitty who is facing away from the door and wraps his arms around her. "I missed you, my love." He whispers in her ear. "Welcome home, Darling." Kitty leans into his arms. "Have you eaten? Breakfast should be ready soon." She pats his arm.

Leo smiles and kisses her on the neck. He feels her shiver from his kiss. "I haven't eaten yet and it's nice to have you welcome me back home. Luke, it's good to see you as well." He looks over Kitty's shoulder at Luke.

"It is good to see you again, Leo. I will go and check and see how long until breakfast is ready." He leaves the room and bolts to the kitchen and closes the door. He looks at Carlos and Cindy cooking in an awkward silence. "So um…."

Carlos looks at Luke and smiles. "Has the cat got your tongue? Anyways, good timing. I was thinking we should start soon. The pancakes are mostly down as well as the bacon."

Cindy turns and looks at Luke who closed the door. "Why did you close the door, Luke?"

"I thought I should give them some alone time. Leo has finally come home." Luke went and sat down on the chair Kitty was using earlier.

Leo watched Luke leave. "I was concerned about you. I am glad that I was able to come home as soon as I could. They held me there an extra day and let me catch a flight home just this morning so when I landed I sped to get home. I was safe about it but I couldn't bare the thought of you being in my house and myself not being here with you." He let her go.

Kitty turned around and stood on her tiptoes and kissed his cheek. "I missed you as well. We have a lot to talk about. I do not like the fact that you were speeding. I will not go anywhere. Next time do not rush and come back more safely. Carlos is cooking breakfast so Luke probably informed him of your return. I think it would be best to talk about everything while everyone is here in the dining room."

He took his finger and ran it down her cheek. "Sorry, I couldn't stay with you here. I know that everyone here is waiting to see what I have to report. I will go over everything over breakfast and then I want everyone to leave the house so that I can spend some alone time with you afterwards. The last few days were horrible without you by my side. I almost panicked when I had to break my phone. I liked having that connection to you but I couldn't risk yours and the baby's safety. How is our baby doing?" He placed his hands on her belly.

"It's alright dear. I understand the reasoning behind it and there is nothing we can do about it. I missed you dearly and being apart after finally reunited once again is always hard. I do not mind if you send everyone away. I want to spend some alone time together as well and I know there is some more mail that needs to be picked up." Kitty smiles and moves his hand to where the baby started kicking.

"I am glad that our baby is so active. How was everything here? You were not inconvenienced I hope." Leo rubs her belly, "there is a lot that happened but I feel like that there was something major that happened."

Carlos opened the door and carried out the pancakes. "You are correct. Luke and I encountered some hunters that were either passing through this area or were off to go on a hunt. Either way, they met with a car crash and we were on our way back here. We decided to help them out. With Luke being your adopted son it seemed that if we didn't stop it could fall back on you. This happened just yesterday. So when they are released from the hospital they will probably come here." He placed the pancakes down and went back to the kitchen.

Cindy carried the juice to the table and sat down. "I am worried that it might be hard on Kitty with the baby on the way but she says she can handle a short meeting. It's not just the hunter that will come over." Cindy sighs and watches the doorway.

Luke came in carrying the dishes and he sets the table. "Ah, that is right Scarlet is going to come and stop by as well. At least that will be an appointment that will be set up ahead of time. I kind of let it slip out because of Kitty's mail coming to our address and you do need to go into town and add her to our box number."

"I see. The hunters that were coming through might be an issue but if Kitty says she can handle it then I will trust her judgement. As for Scarlet, it will be good to have some of the townspeople meet her so that she isn't a phantom person. Scarlet is a great start." Leo lets Kitty go and pulls out the chair for her to sit down on.

Kitty sits down in her chair. "I will start with the fact that I will be able to transform so long as it isn't every day but I think Leo is correct. It would be strange if I do not go into town. The people will start to know that I am living here it would be a good idea to make sure that they do not get suspicious that I do not go into town. I can use that fact that I am pregnant but I should get out and get some air and see the town. I will do that with Leo when he is able to take me to town. As for the hunters, I figure they will show up sometime tonight unless you want to go to the hospital and see them tonight Leo?"
