"Thank you. I will see what she says about coming here early. It may be difficult for her to come here but I think she is more stable now than before. I will ask her when I get home tonight. I do need to go back home and spend some more time with her. I can always finish the work from home. I also forget to say that the house checks are no longer going to happen this week. I think keeping the hunters in suspense of it happening and nothing happening will throw them completely off." Leo smiles evilly and then looks at the time. He takes out his phone and sends a message to Kitty. ~Good morning, my love. I hope that you were able to get some rest. I will come home around five in the evening unless you want to send Ketan to come pick me up? I will be done everything I need to get done around noon your time.~
Kitty felt her phone buzz she quickly opens her phone. ~Darling, I will send Ketan to get you that way you can come home faster. I have something that needs to be mentioned as I did not put two and two together. Also, Sylvie gave me a lecture over it. I will have to explain the things that I have not explained to anyone before. on another note, Carlos, Luke, and Cindy have returned.~ Kitty closed her phone and looked at Ketan. "Ahriman, I want you to bring Leo home at noon. Leo has already contacted me to ask what we should do and I said that I would send you instead of him having to take a flight delaying the conversation further. I am sure everyone is confused as I speak in riddles."
Leo checked his phone. ~Alright I will await his arrival and I will see your them. I love you.~
"As annoying as it is hearing you talk in riddles I, myself am used to it. You have always done that since you were a young girl. It doesn't bother me as much but it's still annoying that you do it almost all the time." Carlos looked at Kitty and sighed. 'There is too many secrets behind you and it makes it hard to get a grasp on what you are or even who you are but that didn't stop me from becoming your friend.'
Cindy looked at Kitty and nodded. "As hard as it might be, you are still the person I trust and want to follow. I know that you have been through a lot but I trust you and I know what you have to say may come as a surprise but I can not wait until you reveal the truth to us."
Luke stood up from the table. "Kitty can we go start sketching I know that you are a bit stressed out and it might ease your mind to work on some paintings for the wall in the nursery. I know that I would like to get it started now and since everyone here doesn't know each other, this would be a good time for them to interact with each other."
Kitty opened her phone one last time. ~I love you too Darling. If I am not downstairs when you get home I will be in the nursery sketching on the wall with Luke.~
Ketan looks at everyone around the table and nods. "I can do that. What time shall I go pick him up? Also, my sister has known Kitty longer than I have but I consider her to be a wonderful friend. I have said that I would help out and protect everyone here in this household. So as the only vampire here I will share a fact about myself. I do not drink the blood of a human unless they are willing and Kitty's blood is pure evil."
"Ketan, Leo said that he will be ready around noon. So please head over there at that time and bring my Darling home. It is true that Ketan drinks the blood of animals instead of humans although he can also drink the blood of most supernaturals. If he drinks the blood of a person he has an easier time tracking them. He did drink my blood but It drove him mad and I had to use my magic to contain him." Kitty smirks and then stands up. "If anyone else has anymore questions or wants to ask me something I will be in the nursery. Oh and Carlos I left you a list of ingredients on the counter in the kitchen. Can you grab them for me?"
"Very well. I will go on patrol of the area and when it is time to leave I will report to you and then head off. I bid you all a good morning. I will come back just before noon." Ketan walked towards the front door then left the house. 'A patrol will help clear my mind of any unease I may be feeling. It is not a well-known fact of how valuable a vampire may actually be. The royal descent are the ones in the most danger though. Our powers are vast and we're very secretive about them.' Ketan lets out a sigh then starts to walk around to the forest.
Cindy shook her head as to say she had no idea what was going on anymore, "go paint with Kitty and I will help Carlos prep lunch."
"I found the list when I was in the kitchen when I was checking out my pans and I will get it all prepared for you after lunch and dinner is prepped." Carlos stood up and picked up Kitty's dishes, then left the dining room.
Kitty walked out of the room, "thank you, Cindy and Carlos. I will be upstairs if you need me then."
Luke got up and followed Kitty while carrying his sketchbook. "I was surprised that a vampire was at the house at first but since he is protecting you, I have no issues why him. Is it really safe. I know that from Leo's work that most vampires are not safe to be around and I do not want you or the baby to get injured."
Giggling Kitty says, "Ketan won't be able to harm me. If he did he would never forgive himself. He is too kind to be a vampire and is a real pushover. All I have to do is mention one thing he will comply with whatever I need him to but you really have nothing to worry about when it comes to him. He is a good person who really wants to have peace. If he could live in solitude, he would."
