Leo walked over, kissed her temple and then sat down and poured her some tea. "I had Anna make you a fresh pot of tea." He hands her the teacup.
"I understand, I will place my faith in you to save him." Kitty took the glass and sipped on the sweet apple tea. "Anna makes sweet teas. I am grateful for this. I am sure I gave everyone quite a fright. Also, this may be weird but Brielle was in an accident wasn't she?"
"Anna stayed by your side while I gave the tour. She was scared when you were in a trance but you are fine now so there is no cause for concern." Leo thinks about it for a moment, "Brielle was in an accident. She saved a little girl's life when Valdis tried to kill the girl. Not every guy will care that she can't reproduce anyway." Kitty finished the first cup of tea and then set herself up so that she was leaning against the headboard, "did Anna bring up any treats?"
Leo took the cup and refilled it. "She did but would you like to eat some real food first?" He also picked up the tray that had some cookies and a strawberry tart.
"I'll start with the desserts first!" Kitty took the plate off the tray and happily ate the desserts. "Is there anything that I should know about this visit that I should be aware of?"
"They know that you were a model overseas and that your an artist that is recognized but I never told them your pen name." Leo watched her reaction.
"I should've known that you would figure it out. All my modeling jobs were in France but all the commercials I shot were in Japan, I didn't think you would tie everything together. As for my pen name I didn't think you would discover that at all. It's not like that can be easily discovered. How did you figure that out?" Kitty smiled and then continued to eat until it was all gone.
"Longing. If anyone saw that and saw me they would see that I am the model for that picture. Not that I remember modeling for you." Leo smiled gently at Kitty.
"Ahhhh, yes, I did that after we separated. My artwork is sold worldwide. I made a lot of money off my pictures. You must know that my pen name is Kathy Winters then." Kitty handed the plate back to Leo and smiled.
"I do and I was the one who bought 'Longing'. I flipped through your sketchbook and showed 'Longing,' to the hunters. Brielle wants to know your pen name. You can tell her the next time you meet her. She is familiar with my place and I know she will come here again. She has taken a liking to you as she is so cold towards everyone." Leo took the plate and placed it down. He sat down next to her and held out his arms to Kitty.

Kitty made herself comfy in his embrace and snuggled in close. "It's a front to protect herself from getting hurt again. She does not want to experience being hurt again. That is what I think. Anna knocks on the door and then enters the room. She sees Kitty snuggling Leo. "I was so worried that something had happened to you, Kitty."
"Sorry for causing you concern Anna. I am alright now. Thank you for the tea and snacks." Kitty looked at her and smiled.
"I'm so glad you are feeling better now. Would you like some porridge? I made it with apples as per the instructions of Leo." She holds out a stone bowl with a lid and you could see the steam coming out the sides of the bowl.
Kitty sits up and reaches out for the food, "I will gladly eat it. I am still hungry right now."
Leo grabs the tray and places it in front of her and he released her so that she could eat. "I will let you eat this and I will go down and make something for myself to eat. "I won't be too long."
Kitty sits up so that Leo could leave the bed and watches Leo leave the room and looked at Anna. "I hear that your Master has become more gentle since I have come into the picture. I have only known his gentle side. Can you tell me more about the Leo that I do not know?"
Anna smiles widely, "of course! It's a matter of if Leo liked a person or not. He was terribly cold in the beginning even when his parents were still living.
