I will also set something up with my work so that I will be able to be here to accompany you. "I am concerned that the little one will arrive early and that you won't be home for the birth. Leo leans his head over and kisses away her tears. "I understand dear. I will do what I can to be able to be home. I understand your concerns. Don't cry, I do not want to see your sad expression, it pains me when you are sad. It's even harder to deal with when I know I am the cause of your sadness. I rarely work with someone other than Will but after being found in the town where the fox clan resides I may have someone else with me on the job. I will talk to the higher-ups after my vacation and I will have it so Will is there to witness my requesting my leave."

Kitty giggles and her tears slowly stop flowing. "I am sure that will be a sight to see. I will have to ask Will how that went. I know that you would tell me but Will be looking at it from a different perspective. Shall we head down to the kitchen and see what we can whip for lunch or shall we order out when we are in town?"

Leo loosens his hold on Kitty. "Kitsune, let's pick up something while we are in town but eat a snack so that you don't get hungry. So let's go downstairs and pick out a snack while we wait for the others to come back. That way you can have something to eat on the drive. I am sure that there are snacks that we can bring with us for you to munch on. We are a fair ways away from the town."

Kitty slowly stands up, then walks to the door. "Okay, Darling, if that is what you would like to do, then let us do that. I can see me getting hungry or even just napping on the way to town. I remember that we have to go to the post office to get my name added to the box so why don't we do that while we are already in town."

Leo gets up and walks towards the door, "I was thinking that we should do that as well so that works perfectly for me. Maybe we will be in luck and Scarlet will still be working and you two can work out a time and date for her to come over but not tonight I want this evening to be just for us."

"I understand, Darling." Kitty follows him out of the room and down the stairs. They walk to the kitchen and Leo looks in the fridge for snacks that could be taken for a car ride. Kitty walks to the cupboard and opens it up and pulls out a container and places it on the island then opens it up. Inside is an assortment of cookies. "I found cookies," Kitty smirks and then grabs a sandwich bag and places some cookies in the bag.

Leo pulls out a fruit bowl and places it beside Kitty, "take some fruit as well. Fruit have more natural sugar than the unnatural sugar that comes from cookies." He pulls out a container and pours some fruit into the container. "I do not mind you eating junk food, I just want you to have a balanced diet." He turns and places the bowl back in the fridge.

Kitty looks at Leo and sees the tip of his ears red. "There is nothing to be embarrassed about, Darling. I know that you are just watching out for me and I know that you care for me but also the baby." She puts the cookie container back in its place and places the cookie bag by the container of fruit. "I really love fruit. So it is a pleasant treat to be able to eat it every day. I am not a huge fan of melons with the exception of watermelon. Is there anything that you dislike?"

"With the exception of strange foods from other countries I will eat just about anything. I will however, try new things even if I do not like how it sounds. I believe that you have to try something, first before you can say that is gross like sauerkraut I don't like it and I can say that as I have tried it before and hated the taste. Other than that there isn't anything else that I have eaten and not liked. I will be careful at what is bought for when Carlos has time off so that you are comfortable and well-fed. Have you had any strange craving that I should know about?"

"Weird craving…..hmmmmm?" Kitty tilts her head and places her index finger on her cheek, "I am not sure if this would be considered a weird craving as it's normal for me but I have to have something sweet after dinner. It doesn't matter what it is as long as it is sweet."

"Isn't it an old wives tale that if you crave something sweet, you will have a girl but if it's salty, you will have a boy? Is this why you think the baby is a girl?" Leo walked towards Kitty and placed his hand on her belly and started whispering to the baby, "I can't wait for arrival but don't give your mother too hard of a time and don't come early. I would hate if you had health issues when you are finally born. All we want is for you to be healthy and happy. Your big brother, mother, and I are waiting for you."

Luke walked into the house while Leo was talking to the baby in Kitty's belly. He carried some of the smaller boxes to the kitchen table and peeked into the kitchen. "I heard you mention me as an older brother. Is that really okay? I am not related by blood."
