When Si Weimin walked inside his office, a human sized standee greeted him. It was placed beside his table. He furrowed his brows as he scanned it. Then, when he turned his gaze, there were at least three more standees inside.

His frown deepened when he realized what they were. They were actually photos of him – washing dishes. Filled with annoyance, he clicked the intercom and called his assistant,

"Wang Guo! Come here this instance!"

Within seconds, a confused Wang Guo entered the office. When he heard his domineering voice, he knew that something was amiss. Seeing the devil with a frown of his face, he raked his brain with the possible reason why he was in a bad mood, 'What is wrong with this devil?'

Si Weimin only glared at the still confused Wang Guo, not saying a word. His eyes were full of annoyance as he put his hand on his chin.

She decided to read her script since she had nothing on her plate for the next two days before the press conference of Sweet Memories. Engrossed in her task, she failed to see her phone blinking.

It was already half passed 4 when she stopped memorizing her script. She suddenly felt famished as she stood and headed towards the kitchen.

She took out the ingredients in making braised beef ribs and prepared making her meal when she heard the doorbell rang.

She looked at the screen and saw Zhen Nian and Shen Linqin outside. She immediately opened the door and greeted them, "Hey, what brought the two of you here?"

"Li-jie, why didn't you answer my call? I've been calling you non stop." Shen Linqin pouted as she questioned Xu Jia Li.

Zhen Nian agreed as she nodded and said, "Yes, Li-jie. I've been calling and texting you, too. Even Manager Lan kept calling you. What were you doing that you didn't answer any of our calls?"

"My phone was in silent mode." She answered as she walked back to the kitchen. The two women followed her.

"Li-jie, have you heard the news?" Shen Linqin sat on the stool opposite her.

Xu Jia Li stared at them before she shook her head. She continued cutting vegetables, not minding the two. Zhen Nian was silent as she let Shen Linqin talk,

"Li-jie, Yun-ge decided not to accept any project with Qi Xenjin."

"Does that have anything to do with me?" Xu Jia Li answered without care.

"Li-jie, how can you say that! Of course, it has something to do with you. Yun-ge is planning to confess his feelings for you. He wants the public to know."
