Si Weimin couldn't help but laugh as he gazed at Xu Jia Li. His eyes almost betrayed him as they sparkled in joy. Her reaction brought undeniable entertainment to him. It was really amusing.

"I told you not to pout your lips…" he reminded before he grinned, "Unless you want me to do what I said earlier."

"Why are you so annoying lately?"

"Am I?" He wore an amused look on his face.

"Okay. Okay! If that's the case, then why are you here? If you know that I wouldn't be here, why come here, huh?"

"I really love that pout on your lips… say… can I kiss –"

He didn't finish his words when Xu Jia Li threw a soft cushion pillow on him before her hands covered his mouth.

"I told you to stop being annoying!"

His naughtiness got the best of him when he put his hands on Xu Jia Li's waist. He was about to tickle her when she immediately fled away, "I didn't know you're too cowardly. Ha ha ha!"

"Pft! What did you eat? Your arrogance reaches a different level now."

He laughed out loud as he sat on the couch, "I really didn't know that you'll be home soon. I just received a call from your assistant."

"Shen Linqin called you?"

He nodded before he continued, "She told me that you were supposed to have dinner with Mr. Li but suddenly, you're not feeling well and that you went home alone."

"How did she know your number?"

He was really glad that Shen Linqin informed him. He was really worried when he left the company and headed straight to her apartment. He was afraid that no one would attend to her needs since Shen Linqin told him that Xu Jia Li asked her to proceed with the dinner.

He couldn't help but shake his head from his girlfriend's stubbornness. Why would she allow her assistant to go ahead while she wasn't feeling well?

"I didn't agree going out with Yun-ge."

"Why? It's not like I will get mad."

"Ha ha ha!" he couldn't help but laugh at her before he asked, "How are you feeling?"

"I'm not actually sick." Xu Jia Li bit down her lower lip, feeling a bit sorry for lying.

"I can be sure of that now," he grinned.

"How did that get here?" Xu Jia Li's eyes bulged upon seeing the flowers given by Li Yun.

Looking at where Xu Jia Li was pointing, he said, "I took them inside." Earlier when he arrived, he saw the two bouquets outside her apartment door, so he took them inside. In truth, he wanted to smash the flowers when he saw Li Yun's name on the card. However, it wasn't his to begin with.

Seeing Xu Jia Li's troubled expression, he pretended to scold her, "Why? Are you supposed to hide Li Yun's bouquet?"
