Xu Jia Li just finished showering when her doorbell rang. She only had her light blue bathrobe on and a towel on her head. Not minding it, she hurriedly went to open the door since she was expecting Zhen Nian.

"Did you just open the door without even looking at the door cam?"

"That's so careless of you, Ms. Xu."

Xu Jia Li could feel the anger in his voice. She didn't know how to respond since she was the one at fault. In her carelessness, she could have opened the door and let harm befell her.

"What were you thinking?"

"I-ah, I was expecting for Zhen Nian and –" she answered, her voice quivered.

"And you rushed to open the door just because you thought it was her? But what if it wasn't her? What if it's someone who wanted to do bad things to you? What will you do?"

Xu Jia Li felt her eyes began to sting. She knew that Si Weimin had a point. She wasn't even thinking. She knew nothing about martial arts or even just a simple self- defense.

Not knowing what to say, she just bowed her head as she stared at the floor.

Within seconds, she was suddenly enveloped in Si Weimin's embrace.

"Don't do it again. Your safety should always be your main priority."

"I'm sorry… honey." Xu Jia Li smiled sweetly when she realized that he was not angry anymore.

"How should I punish you, then?"

"Ah… Honey, why are you here?" Xu Jia Li immediately changed the subject as she led Si Weimin on the sofa.

"I brought food."

Seeing the bag on his hand, she smiled at him. Realizing that he was still frowning, she decided to use her charm as she sweetly said,

"Honey, you're so sweet. I haven't eaten yet. I'm so lucky to have a caring boyfriend."

Si Weimin didn't know what to say. He couldn't believe that Xu Jia Li could be so careless yet he couldn't stay mad at her. He was mesmerized by her smile and his heart leaped when she called him honey.

He knew that she was using this honey trap on him. Helpless, he slightly shook his head before he pinched the tip of her nose.

"I'll prepare the food. Go dry your hair." He insisted as he went to the kitchen.

Within half an hour, Si Weimin finished cooking. He went to the living room and saw Xu Jia Li reading her script.

He approached her and sat beside her, "The food is ready, my love."

"I'll just read a little more." Xu Jia Li answered without lifting her eyes from the script.

"The food will be cold." Si Weimin took the script from Xu Jia Li's hands and placed it on the table.

Seeing her frowned, Si Weimin kissed her lips lightly before he stood and took Xu Jia Li's hand as he led her to the kitchen,

"It's bad to make the food wait."

The two enjoyed the delicious dishes prepared by Si Weimin. They were both having a great time when the doorbell rang.

The two of them gazed at one another. Even before Xu Jia Li could stand, Si Weimin stood and went to open the door.

Seeing that it was Zhen Nian, he opened it.
