Si Weimin began massaging his nape after the meeting ended. His entire day was full of meetings and conferences. He didn't see Xu Jia Li today and that made his day incomplete. He really wanted to see her but he knew that they were both busy.

"Boss, the meeting will start in 20 minutes," Wang Guo reminded Si Weimin as he left his office.

Si Weimin glanced at his Rolex Daytona watch. It was already six in the afternoon but he still had another meeting that he needed to attend. Since the release of the new skin care products was drawing near, he had to make sure that everything was in order.

He closed his eyes when a sudden beep from his phone disturbed him. He lethargically took it and saw Ru Tengfei's name flashing on the screen. He immediately answered it, "Any news?"

"Boss, I found out that Thomas didn't really send those messages."

Si Weimin almost dropped from his chair upon hearing Ru Tengfei's words. He clenched his jaw as he replied with a simple, "Hmm.."

Taking his lead, Ru Tengfei continued, "His phone can't be tracked down. Even if it's off, I can still track it but…"

"But what?"

"It seems like the person who had his phone knows a lot about hacking."

"What do you mean?" Si Weimin furrowed his brows as he listened to Ru Tengfei.

"I tracked it for the first three tries… but the location changed from Europe to a remote place in Africa."

"Is that possible?"

"Yes, the person used a unique style of hiding location. It seems like the person used VPN to hide where he really is. Boss, I don't think it's Thomas. He will never hide his location unless…"

"Unless what?"

"Unless he's caught by his enemies and didn't succeed in his mission."

Si Weimin remained quiet for a while before he spoke, "But he suddenly disappeared that night at Royal Night even before this so-called mission."

"I still don't know how accurate my leads are, boss. I will look more into it."

"Hmmm."

When the call ended, Si Weimin felt like his head would burst. He didn't know what really happened to Thomas Young. His usually calm demeanor was now replaced by worry. It was hard not knowing who your enemies were. It was like walking on quicksand with no light to see what's ahead, or walking on bomb sites on a dark night.

He deeply sighed as he took his phone. With a few taps, someone answered, "Boss.."

"Make sure to never let Xu Jia Li out of your sight."

"Yes, boss!"

Xu Jia Li decided to call Si Weimin after the shoot. She was really excited to hear his voice even after she received the flowers. She giggled when she remembered what Si Weimin wrote on the card – The Man Who Makes Your Heart Flutters.

Since the shooting was about to end, she went inside the made up dressing room before she took her phone. Then, she began to dial Si Weimin's number. When she realized that hearing his voice wasn't enough, she requested a video call.

Within a few rings, Si Weimin's handsome face flashed across the screen, "Did you like the flowers? I was really worried you didn't like it since you didn't message or call."

Xu Jia Li laughed as she saw the distress on his face. She gently said, "I loved it."

"That's my entire feelings in those flowers."

Xu Jia Li's eyes shone brightly after hearing his sweet words. She had a naughty smile on her lips when she said, "Yeah… so will your feelings withered just like the flowers, too?"

Si Weimin frowned before he declared, "Those roses will not wither… well, maybe after a year. However, my feelings for you will last until we're both old."

"Ha ha ha! How sure are you that they will not wither? I even see some petals already withering."

"That's impossible!"

Xu Jia Li stifled a laugh upon seeing Si Weimin's reaction. Then, she saw him doing something before she heard him call Wang Guo.

"Wang Guo, make sure that Venus Et Fleur face bankruptcy immediately."

"Yes, boss!"

Xu Jia Li didn't know what to say. She froze on the spot before she realized what Si Weimin was about to do. She felt bad for the flower shop. She immediately shouted, "Honey! I'm only kidding!"

This time, it was Si Weimin's laughter that filled her ears. She pursed her lips as glared at him, "Did you just trick me?"

"I knew you're not telling the truth when you say that the petals are withering."

"Hmph!"

"Stop pouting. It makes me want to go there and kiss you."

Xu Jia Li blushed so red from Si Weimin's words. She clucked her tongue before she said, "Hmph, I'll hang up now. I just call to inform you that I really love the flowers."

Xu Jia Li ended the call as she stifled a laugh. She went out of the dressing room and when she was approached by Shen Linqin, "Li-jie, since we finished early, can we please just join Yun-ge? Anyway, I'm with you and no one will think anything."

"Linqin, I told you I can't. It's just not right. If you want, you can go without me. Anyway, I really have to go. My head is aching."

"But Li-jie –"

"I'm really not feeling well, Linqin. Just go with Yun-ge, okay?"

"Then, I won't go. I'll drive you home."

"No, Linqin. I already booked a cab. Use my car."

Actually, she didn't really feel anything wrong with herself. She just didn't feel like going out especially with Li Yun.

After saying goodbye to Director Han and the rest of the crew, Xu Jia Li boarded the cab waiting for her. Shen Linqin tried to persuade Xu Jia Li that she would drive for her but she insisted that she dined out with Li Yun.

She didn't know where Shen Linqin put the bouquet from Li Yun but the huge Ecuadorian roses from Si Weimin where already sent to Harvest Condominium earlier since she knew that she couldn't possibly carry the bouquet that huge. She loved those roses so much. She really agreed that flowers had the ability to brighten up even the dreariest day.

Within an hour, Xu Jia Li arrived at Harvest Condominium. She hurriedly boarded the elevator. Once she reached her floor, her feet felt like they had feathers as she glided towards her apartment. She was about to open the door when she remembered the roses from Si Weimin. She frowned when she realized that it wasn't still there.

She sang incoherently when she entered inside.

"Aren't you supposed to have dinner with Mr. Li, Miss Vicious- Tongue Xu?"

Xu Jia Li almost passed out from shock as she put her hands on her chest, "What are you doing here? You scared the hell out of me!"

She glowered at him before she hurriedly walked towards him. Once she was only a feet away from him, she hit him on the shoulder, "Don't do that again!"

"Ha ha ha! I didn't mean to scare you."

"Arggh!" Xu Jia Li brushed her fingers through her hair in exasperation, "So? Tell me, what are you doing here? And who told you I'm having dinner with Yun-ge? Have you asked someone to follow me?"

She threw a scrutinizing look at Si Weimin before she put her arms across her chest, "C'mon, answer me."
