"Love, wake up!" Si Weimin gently shook Xu Jia Li's delicate body which was lying on the wooden recliner on the hot spring room. He immediately felt a pang of fear engulfed him.

He didn't know why she was there when they had searched the entire resort and didn't find her. He noticed that her hands had bruises which looked like she had been tied tightly. He froze, his body couldn't even move as he looked at her white soft wrists that were now enclosed by reddish marks. His heart ached. Luckily, aside from the obvious marks, there was nothing wrong with Xu Jia Li.

"Boss, I already called the doctors. They will be here soon," Wang Guo's nervous voice reached Si Weimin's ears.

After receiving Ru Tengfei's call, he immediately left the warehouse and proceeded to the resort. It was already three in the morning and he didn't know how long Xu Jia Li had been left in the cold.

"Make sure to check all the possible entrance and exit. Call Fei! Tell him that I need to see the cctv footages!"

"Yes, boss!"

"What happened to what I asked you to do?"

"I already found who owned the cars, boss."

"Yes, CEO Si. I checked her pulse and it's beating a bit faster than normal. It's the effect of the potion she inhaled," The doctor explained with a nervous voice. He saw the look on the devil's face and he was afraid to piss him off.

"Where did she inhale it?" Si Weimin asked as he looked at Wang Guo. With gritted teeth, he ordered, "Investigate it immediately."

"Yes, boss."

"You already know what to do about this incident," Si Weimin moved his gaze at the three doctors inside the room, "You can stay on the rooms designated for you. You can leave once she woke up."

"Yes, CEO Si," The nervous doctors all heaved a sigh of relief upon hearing that they could go. They hurriedly followed one of Si Weimin's men out of the room.

"Guo, block any news regarding this."

"Yes, boss. News about this won't leak. I'll make sure of it, boss."

"Any news about the footages?"

"Fei called earlier. He will the send the footages once they're ready."

"Hmm."

Meanwhile, in the dark room inside the organization's hide- out…

"Master, our plan will be successful if you let me handle it. If not for Snow's interference, we could have succeeded!" Beryl voiced out her dislike as she looked at the old man's face. Her face was swollen red and her leg had already been wrapped with gauze.

"Snow is right. There's a perfect time for everything. We can't afford to waste the long years of planning this thing. Look what happened. You almost jeopardize the whole group! You have to be patient or I'll have your head!"

"I'm too close to accomplishing the task. It's just that –"

"Beryl! Just do as you're told. I'll coordinate with Feng Chen and to tell him that Si Weimin has the guns and daggers. It wouldn't be long until he found out who owned them."

"Let me handle it, master!"

Beryl's face crumpled in deep hatred. She wanted to kill Xu Jia Li. She couldn't believe that the perfect time was wasted. She knew that it would be hard to abduct Xu Jia Li, now that they would be more alert. She didn't even know how Si Weimin found out the old warehouse. She was grateful that she didn't bring Xu Jia Li to the main fort.

Earlier, when Snow took Xu Jia Li, she wanted to kill them both. She knew better than anyone else that Snow only wanted to inherit the Master's position. She couldn't let that happen. After she killed Xu Jia Li, she would kill Snow as well. She had been suffering from Snow's bullying. It needed to stop.

If only she had killed Xu Jia Li, then the money would be hers. Si Weimin would also see his beloved lying lifeless on the cold floor. How nice would it be! Then Zhou Bingbing would be very happy and please now that she could have Si Weimin for herself.

But all of that vanished in thin air because of Snow's interference. She needed to do something to get rid of Snow.
