Shen Linqin came back and sat beside her, "Li-jie, what did Yun-ge say?"

Director Han walked towards Producer Zhang before he greeted him, "It's been a while, Producer Zhang. I'm glad you visit the set."

"I really planned to visit since the shooting started but I've been busy. I can't just go whenever I wanted. I'm a busy man after all." Producer Zhang laughed with his signature malicious laugh.

"Yes, of course, Producer Zhang!"

"Don't mind me and focus on the shoot. I see that it's on- going."

"Yes, yes. Thank you, Producer Zhang!"

When Director Han went back to his seat, Producer Zhang scanned the place. Seeing the person he wanted to see, he took big strides as he approached her.

"Miss Xu, it's always really pleasant to see you."

"Good afternoon, Producer Zhang!" Xu Jia Li and Shen Linqin greeted at the same time.

"Miss Xu, will you please ask your assistant to get me a cup of tea." Producer Zhang grinned.

Hearing that, Shen Linqin had a sour expression on her face which she didn't try to hide. However, since it was broad day light and many people were on set, Xu Jia Li nodded at Shen Linqin as she said, "Linqin, please get Producer Zhang some tea."

Shen Linqin frowned as she stomped her feet away from them.

After Shen Linqin left, Producer Zhang sat on the vacant stool beside Xu Jia Li. Seeing that, Xu Jia Li moved her chair, trying to maintain a distance between them.

"Miss Xu, you're really beautiful. I wonder why you never won best actress before. However, we can make that happen. Just let me know." Producer Zhang's words were full of malice. He moved his chair closer to Xu Jia Li before he put his hand on Xu Jia Li's hand.

Xu Jia Li didn't let his hand land on hers as she immediately took her hand to brush some loose hair behind her ears. She directly said, "Thank you for being kind, Producer Zhang but I'm really into singing and dancing so I really don't mind not having best actress award."

"But why? Isn't that such a waste of your unparalleled beauty and great talent? You could be whatever you want to be."

"If I really deserved the award, I know the judges would see my talent and decide on that." Xu Jia Li's expression never changed. She still managed to be polite but her expression was unreadable.

"I see. I see," Producer Zhang laughed before he continued, "I have a commercial that needs a celebrity as beautiful as you. I think it suits you."

"You can talk with my manager, Producer Zhang."

"Yes, of course. So how about we talk about it over dinner. I'll tell your manager about it. But in the meantime, why don't we enjoy a luscious dinner tonight."

"I'm sorry, Producer Zhang but my schedule is full. Thank you so much."

Producer Zhang was about to say something when Shen Linqin arrived with a cup of tea on hand, "Here's your tea, sir!"

"Oh, thank you but I need to go. I'll visit some other time. It's really great to see you again, Miss Xu."

Xu Jia Li almost puked from seeing the lewdness on the old man's eyes. Even the way he smiles gave her an unspeakable disgust and uneasiness. She pursed her lips, trying hard not to say something rude.

"I'll see you again, Miss Xu!"

When Producer Zhang left, Shen Linqin asked, "Li-jie, what did that old man say?"

"It's nothing, Linqin. Don't worry too much. I can handle myself." Xu Jia Li patted Shen Linqin's hand as she assured her.

"Miss Xu, please be ready. Your scene will start in one minute." The crew informed her.

Producer Zhang didn't leave immediately after he said goodbye to Xu Jia Li. He really hated her assistant since it arrived in a wrong timing. He wanted Xu Jia Li so much. He even dreamed of getting Xu Jia Li in his bed. His lust towards her was getting bigger.

He wasn't afraid at Si Weimin at all. Why would he when someone powerful was backing him? Just that thought was enough to make him even braver. He knew that Xu Jia Li might only be Si Weimin's toy. He didn't care at all even if she's no longer chaste. It even made him excited thinking of all the things he would ask her to do.
