Legacy of Forgotten Times Chapter 79 The Book of Origins Part 2

Reading till at this point Jaime felt it was both interesting and cringey. Thinking about it wasn't Primogen of the Sacred Beasts the Grand Sage from Maruto? She literally created 9 different beasts to serve her and there was even a Nine-tailed Fox. Thinking about it, of course, there were some little differences but this was clearly plagiarism. It would be fine if the similarities ended there but unfortunately, it did not.

After both gods completed their plans it was time to battle once more. When they started this vicious battle again both of them were surprised they were equals in strength yet again. However, Primogen was panicked. She could clearly tell that if it went on like this eventually God of Humanity was going to surpass her strength because humans kept on multiplying. She had to do something and she had to do it soon. That was when she came up with a dangerous and a somewhat crazy plan.

Primogen of the Sacred Beasts sealed herself together with the God of Humanity. This seal was special in the fact that it could siphon his powers and give it to her. If everything went according to the plan eventually she could siphon him completely and reach a height never seen before. However, during this time, she was susceptible. So someone had to guard the seal for her in order to avoid any and all kind of interruptions. That was why Primogen had divided the key to seal into 9 and given it to her 9 servants in order to protect it.

When their master presented this plan to them the beasts were obviously not content. They believed that they could defeat God of Humanity eventually but Primogen did not humour them. So they put this plan into action. Primogen and God of Humanity fought countless days and when Humas thought he was finally going to get rid of her the sacred beasts jumped out and sealed both of them together. Because he was overconfident God of Humanity did not see it coming and fell to their ploy.

Since their master was gone the sacred beasts cried for 7 days and 7 nights. After they were done with their mourning they divided the world between each other and agreed to not interfere in each other's matters. They had one mission and one mission only and that was to protect the keys from falling into the wrong hands.

With that centuries and millenniums have passed. There wasn't anything in this world stronger than the sacred beasts so they were the uncontested rulers of the world. However, they were not immortal. They were only God Beasts made to serve a single being and without any way to stay alive, they mated with humans in this world to keep their bloodlines and pass their mission to the next generation. This was how the mixed races came to be.

Jaime also felt that this part was plagiarism from Maruto. I mean Nine Beasts to guard Nine Keys but at this point, she was too bored to comment on it and decided to keep on reading to see how this was all going to end.

After generations have passed the divine blood inside the mixed races have weakened and they were losing their powers. They were not the rulers of the world anymore and humanity was getting stronger fast. This resulted in the start of the Holy War against the mixed races to regain their place to rule the earth and they won. The mixed races had to go into hiding and eventually they just become bedtime stories the old told to children.

The world kept on turning and civilizations rose and fall. The mixed races still kept on hiding, for them their mission from their god was the most important and they could not risk endangering it. This all changed in the 15th century. Because due to unknown reason the Blood Dragon race was mysteriously wiped. At first, the other races thought it was the humans who hunted them to extinction since amongst the common folk they were called as vampires but that was not possible. Before they were extinct they would have either escaped or at least have asked for the other races' help.

That was not the most unsettling part, it was the fact that now there was an unguarded key in the outside world. What if humans decide to collect all 9 of them and release their god into the world. How would they face their Primogen and ancestors at the afterlife? This put all the races into panic and they did everything they could to find the cause but it was all in vain. Let alone finding a clue as to what happened they couldn't even find the remains of the Blood Dragons.

Just like everything in the world, the fate of the Blood Dragons was forgotten. Some among them even started to make up stories like because they were so loyal they were chosen by their Primogen to accompany her in heaven. The truly smart ones did not believe that and kept on investigating the cause. Lyra was one of them.

Seeing Lyra's name Jaime was excited but a little confused. She had an inkling as to what this notebook about but now she was sure. The real question was didn't Linri say her that he did not write anything about her? If so what was the deal with this book?
