“Shut up!” Long Yin suddenly yelled aloud, causing Lin Kuang to be shocked as he quivered. He slowly reseated himself, his face somehow cloudy and gloomy, finally he adopted to a grave expression. Long Yin knew very well that this was absolutely not some simple person, but he had yet to guess that it was Feng Chaoyang. Because he stayed behind and to take care of the matters inside the Imperial Palace of the Gale Nation to thoroughly protect the safety of the royal family, aside from cooperating to bring the Cursed Woman under control, he had never left the Gale Nation according to the rumors. Feng Ling observed the reactions of all the people around, the corners of his lips hooked up, he smiled and said, “Your Majesty’s vision is like a torch, this man is indeed our Gale Nations’s hero Feng Chaoyang. He is also a great benefactor of my Feng family for many generations now, nobody has ever restricted his freedom. If Old General Lin feels that he has broken a rule by bringing in a bladed weapon, you can command your people to arrest him, Feng Ling will absolutely not interfere.”

After obtaining an affirmative answer, more than ten people inside the hall had their hearts throbbing faster by multiple times. Long Yin nodded his head promptly and said, “Old General Ye, you words are exactly what I intended. Crown Prince Feng, Hero Feng, a while ago my officials might have offended…”

“It’s nothing.” Feng Ling voluntarily waved his hand, “There must be some confusions due to old age. Feng Ling followed behind Ye Nu with Feng Chaoyang following like a shadow without a word. Long Yin, with a heavy face and his brows tightly knitted together, concentrated his eyes to think deeply.

No wonder he dared to come alone, he had Feng Chaoyang’s protection. But why would Feng Lie allow Feng Chaoyang to follow him here? If the reason was just as simple as what Feng Ling had mentioned, then it should not be like that. The reason the Gale Nation would dispatch the Crown Prince to visit was surely not that simple.

Feng Ling was praising Ye Nu all along the way, Ye Nu only had an ordinary expression, sometimes answering him with a few words. Feng Ling did not mind, his expression was still the same. Ye Nu walking in front, secretly sighing in his mind… He was deserving of the title of Gale Nation’s crown prince, he absolutely was not an ordinary character. The current emperor, Feng Lie of the Gale Nation, had crossed swords with Ye Nu and Ye Wei numerous times during the battle, fully aware of the strength of the Ye military troops. They could only do their utmost to get closer to their enemy, to be able to minimize the casualties. Of course, it would merely be injuries and deaths, and not the possibility of failure after the twenty years of recovery and preparation in all aspects. Ye Wei was summoned to the front courtyard, at seeing Feng Ling, he was puzzled and asked, “This special guest is?”

“He is the Crown Prince of the Gale Nation.” Ye Nu said plainly.

“Nice to meet you General Ye. General Ye’s reputation, as I’ve heard it from the Gale Nation, is  like a thunder piercing the ears” Feng Ling said gently.

Feng Ling’s extraordinary attitude made Ye Wei feel that he was not just an ordinary person of character, upon hearing the name he was surprised, “So it’s actually Crown Prince Feng, I really don’t deserve such praise. Please come inside and have a seat.”

Feng Ling waved his hand and said, “No, to be able to meet General Ye, I’m already satisfied. I wouldn’t want to trouble you further. Next, I would like to boldly ask General Ye to bring me to see your Ye military troops, allowing me to witness the true master of courage.”

Ye Wei creased his brows, this statement is clearly intended to scout the current military force of the Tian Long Nation. He looked at Ye Nu. Ye Nu nodded at him, “You can bring Crown Prince Feng there, this was also His Majesty’s idea.”

Ye Wei responded at once, knowing that the army camp had already made the preparations, thus he nodded and said, “Alright, please come with me Crown Prince Feng.”

“Remember, by all means do not offend the person behind him… He is Feng Chaoyang.” The moment he turned around, Ye Nu had quickly whispered in Ye Wei’s ears. Ye Wei was shocked, as he looked at the ordinary person in the green suit carrying a huge blade on his back. For a moment, he could not conceal his startled face.

At this time, Feng Ling happened to be looking at the wonderful figure approaching them from a distance… Ye Shuiyao was coming out from Ye Wuchen’s small courtyard and was  heading towards her own courtyard. Ever since Ye Wuchen had left, Ye Shuiyao who sometines step out of her own room and head towards his courtyard because she wanted to seek the traces of his smell.

If she was still the same one who confined herself to her own world, the old Ye Shuiyao who refused to go out, then everything would be what Ye Wuchen expected. The Lin Family would be entrapped until  they could no longer explain themselves, until they finally collapsed, Long Yin would be dead from a sudden attack of his serious illness, Long Zhengyang would succeed the throne, the Gale Nation would not ignore Tian Long Nation for three years as they knew that the clan of the Southern Empire was involved with the Ye Family. These three years would be sufficient for him to setup a huge trap… But the appearance of Ye Shuiyao had forcibly cut off all of his plans in one single moment and also brought a huge change on his life path, from protecting, to moving towards trampling the whole world.

Sometimes, the most terrible things were not weapons, but the femme fatale.

Feng Ling’s expression became sluggish, he completely lost his perfectly composed state of mind that he used to face the Emperor of Tian Long and the numerous officials. In his eyes was the figure of an immortal-like being and nothing else. In an obscure world of blank space, he could only hear his violent heart beat. All his life this was the first time that he had experience the feeling of losing his mind.

“She is a fairy or a demon of temptation of my life…” Within his heart, he mumbled these words.

The figure of an immortal did not come near him. Ye Shuiyao felt that she was being stared at, so she coldly shot a glance at him, then withdrew her gaze and changed her direction to head towards her own courtyard. Feng Ling’s gaze followed her until her figure disappeared in his line of sight, yet he had not regained his state of mind.

“Crown Prince Feng, let’s go.” Ye Wei shouted with a heavy voice, he knew his daughter’s charm very well and did not feel anything peculiar with Feng Ling’s reaction.

Feng Ling felt like being woken up from a dream, his eyes flickered and he impatiently asked, “General Ye, who was that woman I saw a while ago?”

“It’s my daughter.” answered Ye Wei with an emotionless face.

Feng Ling’s original simple and elegant smile this time looked somehow different, his mind was full of Ye Shuiyao’s figure, impossible to get rid of that he even lost his intention to visit the army camp. “So it’s General Ye’s daughter, really an outstanding beauty, a fairy that transformed into human. My Gale Nation’s beauties are somehow bleak compared to your nation’s beauties. What is her good name?”

Ye Wei wrinkled his brows as he said, “Crown Prince Feng, let’s just head out to the army camp first.”

Feng Ling realized he was forgetting his manners, laughed as he was mocking himself but did not ask further. He stepped aside and said, “Please go ahead, General Ye.”

Heading out of the Ye residence, he could not help but glance back once more to the courtyard gate where Ye Shuiyao’s figure had disappeared. He did not see the figure that made him lose his mind so he disappointedly departed.

Feng Chaoyang was following him from behind all along, just like a pile of wood. One of the  commitments he vowed was to protect the Gale Nation throughout his life, but he only protected, the rest, he did not care about, and he also did not intend to care about them.
