Heavenly Star Chapter 150

“When I am talking, don’t interrupt me.” Ye Wuchen coldly interrupted her, as her struggle earlier had almost caused him his life. If the Blood Wind Wolf had advanced further a few inches, the part that it would have hit would not be his shoulder, but his heart instead. How could he suppress his anger? “You think very highly of your own body, which can’t be touched by anybody. I tell you, not just your body, even your appearance, I’m not interested in them, or else I would have used a hundred methods to find out what you look like already. Even if I wanted to rape you, will you be able to fight against me?! In my heart, my sister, and my future wife are greater than you a thousand times, so don’t think too highly of yourself, humph!”

Ye Wuchen snorted coldly as he released his hands. Meng Zhi stupidly stared while she was being angrily rebuked. As he let go of his grip, Meng Zhi, with her injured foot, produced a painful groan as she fell to the ground, leaning on a tree, she was unable to get up. On her right foot, with astonishment, there was the three terrible wounds around twenty centimeters long, with blood gradually oozing out, flowing out to a large area.

Ye Wuchen gently sighed, crouching down, he grabbed her right foot and neatly pulled off her shoes. Meng Zhi stiffened her whole body, with her thoughts confused, she said in fright, “What are you doing? Let go of me, let go!”

Ye Wuchen did not lift his head, but with knitted brows, he roared, “Don’t move!!”

Completely lacking preparation, Ming Zhi quivered under his loud roar, started and unable to say a word, she stared at him as he removed her blood stained socks. Pulling up her skirt, he exposed three wounds with the bones almost visible. This time, she did not just feel the pain, but also the tactile sensation of his touch while he was holding onto her delicate white foot as it half sparkled and was like translucent jade as it emerged before his eyes.

Water misted in Meng Zhi’s eyes, her heart was so confused, like she had never experienced before. But this time, she did not utter any words to reject him or make any actions to struggle, maybe she was already powerless, maybe she was scared, or maybe she was bewildered and did not know what to do.

Ye Wuchen used three kinds of medicine powders which he brought from home and sprinkled them on top of the wound. His technique was very accurate and the quantity of the medicine was just right. In front of Meng Zhi, he evidently could not use his powers.

“... Sorry, my words might have been too harsh a while ago, but you were truly very unruly a while ago, we almost lost our lives. I’m afraid to die, I don’t want to die. That’s why I was very angry. Come to think of it, you must have your own persistence.” Ye Wuchen used a cloth to wrap up her wounds, as his tone became milder.

Meng Zhi stared blankly at his gentle actions, but she did not speak for quite a long time.

“Since you are afraid, why didn’t you escape on your own a while ago? Instead, you risked your life to save me.” After being silent for a long time, she finally spoke up.

“Didn’t I tell you that you were like a kitten or a puppy that I picked up from the road? As long as you are my companion, whether you are human or a pet, man or woman, good or bad, obedient or not, I wouldn’t let you die in front of me.”

Ye Wuchen completely wrapped up the wounds, pulled up a white sock from somewhere, and put it on her foot, little by little. “This was Ning Xue’s sock, but it is considerably flexible, and will not make you uncomfortable.”

Ye Wuchen could not help admitting that her foot was very beautiful, holding it in his hand was like kneading soft jade.

“You will never understand…” Meng Zhi bit her lips, finally she said, “This is my family’s rule. The place where we are located, women regard their purity as the most important thing in their lives. Before their marriage, even their future husband cannot touch their bodies.”

“Starvation is a minor thing, but losing one’s dignity is a major thing. For the majority of women, purity is more important than their own life. But just a touch doesn’t mean you will lose your purity, how could you be so drastic a while ago?”

The wound was not so painful anymore, she supported herself on a tree behind her as she stood up, biting her lips she said, “The rules of our family, you will never understand them.”

Without a choice Ye Wuchen raised his eyebrows, and said, “Fine, do you mean to say that at your place, if a man touched your body, it will mean that you have lost your purity? However you didn’t resist a while ago, could it be that you have already given up, planning to devote your life to me?”

Meng Zhi glanced at him, moved away from his gaze and said in a clear low voice, “Today, I will regard these things as if they had never happened. In the future… I will kill you.”

Ye Wuchen laughed involuntarily, but did not argue nor ask the name of her clan.

Drip.

A drop of fresh blood fell to the ground flowing down his finger and hitting on a dried leaf. Meng Zhi then realized that his left shoulder had turned bloody red. Looking at it from the side, the cloth on that spot had been worn out due to scratches, exposing few badly mangled wounds, more severe than the wounds on her foot. Her heart tightened without a reason, as she yelled out subconsciously, “You are hurt!”

Meng Zhi then realized that he sustained more serious injuries when he saved her a while ago, yet he had not said anything about it and still bound up her wounds.

Ye Wuchen flatly glanced at his own left shoulder, then he produced a medicine bottle. Sprinkling the contents on his palm, he firmly pressed it to his shoulder. It must be very painful, Meng Zhi’s heart also pained a bit, yet Ye Wuchen’s face remained calm, he did not even twitch. He glanced at Meng Zhi and said, “I will undress to wrap my wounds, you want to see?”

Meng Zhi’s body retreated a bit, supporting herself on a tree, she carefully turned around.

Ye Wuchen removed his outer garments, thereupon using his powers on his left shoulder, and very quickly, the wounds dripping with blood had almost recovered completely. He took out the bandage, sticking it on his shoulder, and put on his outer clothing again. This kind of wound was nothing to him, he was just acting in front of Meng Zhi. Tong Xin had sensed something odd in this area, so she held Ning Xue’s hands all along and refused to let go. The two young girls were running around in circles aimlessly.

Very quickly, Tong Xin detected Ye Wuchen’s breath which had been deliberately released. Dragging Ning Xue along, she chased after its direction, but the direction where the breath had came from, once she proceeded ahead, became farther and farther away. Tong Xin circled around once more with Ning Xue, yet they still could not find his precise location.

Anxiety and worry had dragged out Tong Xin’s pitiful patience. She released Ning Xue’s hand, leaping up into the sky as Ning Xue cried out in surprise.

A loud echo resounded as that indestructible layer of energy field was like a bubble, easily penetrated through by Tong Xin. In the high altitude, both her remotely dark eyes had a devilish look that aimed devour people. Gazing at every corner underneath her, she then lifted her hands and she waved them through the empty space down below.

Crack!

Her simple action caused the entire forest, as well as the non-life energy field up above it to scatter and smash into pieces like a broken mirror. Nothing was able to survive…

The Ximen aristocratic family, in a closed private room, four old men all spurted out a mouthful of fresh blood. They woke up all at the same time, as they looked at each other, their faces exposed terrified expressions.

“Young master! It’s bad… The Thousand Magic Camp is… is being destroyed!” a Ximen follower hurriedly rushed in, losing his head out of fear as he yelled.

“I already know.” The young man’s face went serious, “Father and Mother haven’t returned yet, the four elders inside the private room must have been seriously hurt due to the destruction of the Thousand Magic Camp. What kind of person has entered our territory!? Will this be just an unavoidable calamity of our Ximen family? Relay my orders to all the people hidden inside the manor, without my command, nobody will be allowed to come out. I will go ahead to explore, I hope it’s a friend and not an enemy.”

There were plenty who had the power to break the spell of the Thousand Magic Camp within the Heavenly Star Continent. Those who had the ability to destroy the Thousand Magic Camp though,  were very rare. It would at least require the powers of two exceptional Heaven-Level Masters. How could he not be afraid?

The Thousand Magic Camp was being destroyed, and floating in the air, Tong Xin was able to lock in on Ye Wuchen’s location. Floating down from the sky, she pulled Ning Xue who was unaware of anything that had happened, up and they ran ahead. Very quickly, they saw Ye Wuchen and Meng Zhi who were standing there on the spot. Ning Xue had loosened her heartstrings, exclaimed in high spirits, yelling out “brother” she rushed forth, but Tong Xin just stood there and her eyes instantly went cold. Releasing the uncontrollable murderous spirit that belonged to the Cursed Woman, she disrupted the air in the surrounding area, as ice-cold streams of air streaked across their faces, body, and heart like they were being cut by blades.

Because she saw the blood on Ye Wuchen’s body.

Meng Zhi’s body shivered as the heavy shadow in her heart was like a huge rock pushing down on her like the approach of the Reaper, making it hard for her to breathe. Looking at the young girl in the black dress flashing terrible black rays in her both eyes from a distance, she was extremely overwhelmed with shock. At this moment, she finally understood what the real aura of death was like.

Ye Wuchen, carrying Ning Xue who was leaning against him, took a glimpse at Meng Zhi with a pale white face and felt something went wrong in his heart. With quick steps he rushed in front of Tong Xin, leaned over and grabbed her hand to speak softly, “Don’t worry, my wounds are healed now, the wolf that hurt me is already dead, look.”

He pointed towards the Blood Wind Wolf that was still struggling at death’s door. Tong Xin nodded her head and the murderous spirit from her body had greatly diminished. She instantly shifted her gaze, her small hands extended out for a jet-black light to emerge from her palm, with a whoosh, it flew towards the Blood Wind Wolf on the ground.

When the cloud of black light touched the body of the Blood Wind Wolf, in an instant, it expanded, completely wrapping the entire body of the Blood Wind Wolf. Soon after, the cloud of black light began to shrink and shrink some more, until it completely disappeared. Together with it, the Blood Wind Wolf that was wrapped inside of it simply evaporated without leaving a trace. And those things surrounding its body, whether it was the ground, trees, or the scattered dried leaves, all were left without any damages.

Ye Wuchen did not have enough time to stop her, he just sighed, left without a choice. This time, Tong Xin had revealed a lot in front of Meng Zhi due to her anger, but he did not want to put the blame on Tong Xin.
