Heavenly Star Chapter 144

High daylight with crisp air and cool autumn wind blowing slowly, Ye Wuchen went on his journey without stopping, as he continued on southwards. He did not travel with a map, as majority of the people knew that the location of the Heavenly Fire Volcano was in the Southern part of the Tian Long Nation. Evidently, he did not go there to sacrifice himself for Long Yin and Lin Xiu, but only because of himself. It was the hottest place throughout the entire Heavenly Star Continent.

Ning Xue and Tong Xin were particularly silent during the journey. Tong Xin wanted to make noise but she could not, her small hands continuously scratching Ye Wuchen’s back naughtily. No matter how hard she tried, her mouth could not produce a sound. Ning Xue was leaning against his chest, sleeping, awake, awake and then back to sleep. Although Ye Wuchen was having suspicions of her greediness for sleeping, he was already used to it. He stretched his arms out and fiddled with the jade that Hua Shuirou had put around his neck.

“Xue-er, Tong Xin, are you hungry?”

Ning Xue and Tong Xin sat on the hay, both resting against Ye Wuchen’s chest on the left and right. Listening to the sound of rain and thunder, cuddling up with him, such a fascinating cozy feeling made Tong Xin want to comfortably doze off to sleep.

“Not hungry, just want to drink water.” Ning Xue used her hand to touch her partly dried lips.

“Okay.” Ye Wuchen called out a water sack from the ring of the God of Sword and placed it in Ning Xue’s hand, then he turned to Tong Xin and asked, “Tong Xin, do you want to drink water?”

Tong Xin blinked her eyes. She did not shake nor nod her head, but quietly raised up her eyebrows. Using her hand to wrap around Ye Wuchen’s neck, her lips drew near. Sticking out her pink lips, she licked his lips one at a time. For several days at nights, she would use her delicate tongue to lick all over his body while she was half-asleep and half-awake state. She was eager for his taste and unconsciously began to treat it as a kind of enjoyment and habit.

Ye Wuchen’s heart jumped, he quickly drew back his body from her hug. This bad habit of hers could be sneaky, but if Ning Xue was to learn from it little by little it would be… Ye Wuchen glanced at Ning Xue, finding her hugging the water sack as she drank from it, and he heaved a sigh of relief as she was not looking at him. Everything made her look more like a fairy that descended down to the earth placing herself above the common populace. The face covered with the thin silk cloth vaguely exposed her fair white skin, as if like sheep-fat white jade but it was actually whiter than snow, slender and smooth, richer and softer than snowy light muslin. Her pure white dress was half wet, sticking onto her body, wrapping around her and showed her exquisite figure. Her sexy waist, soft chest, and beautiful buttocks were in a perfect arc that was so pretty and hard to describe. Although she did not reveal any traces of nudity, it reflected an incomparably erotic charm. She was extremely attractive, but at the same time, had a holy inviolable personality, as if it would be considered a great sin if anyone fancied her. This was a very contradictory thing, but it all happened to her at the same time.

Her gaze swept through the three of them and without a word, she approached. “Brother, this sister is really pretty.” Ning Xue had leaned forward beside his ears and softly said to him. She knew if she spoke out loudly, she might disrespect the sister.

“Oh? It might not necessarily this way, her face is covered. Xue-er, why do you feel that she is pretty? Can’t say for sure, she might be a very ugly freak.” Ye Wuchen said ,putting all his efforts to lower his voice.

The sound of the rain still resounded beside their ears, as the fairy-like woman silently listened to the falling rain, as if she did not hear anything.

“It may not be. Even if her face cannot be seen, Xue-er believes this sister must have a pretty face… Oh, as pretty as Sister.” Ning Xue said earnestly. The charm of this woman did not just make Ye Wuchen lose his mind, even Ning Xue had been deeply convinced. Only Tong Xin was still naughtily rubbing against his chest, ignoring the woman and did not notice Ning Xue’s resentful gaze either. She completely occupied Ye Wuchen’s bosom.

“Then, Xue-er, do you want to know her name?”

“En, yes I do.”

Ye Wuchen’s gaze focused on the waterfall-like hair of the woman and in a tender voice he asked, “This fairy-like woman, for us to meet under this rain, it must be our destiny. Can you tell us your good name?”

The woman did not respond. Even those limpid, autumn water-like eyes were like a quiet lake without waves.

Ye Wuchen slightly shook his head, in a low voice he said, “Xue-er, she might really be a fairy. She doesn’t want to pay attention to us mortal humans.”

The sound of the rain quickened, sitting for a long time, one’s body would start to feel cold. Ning Xue curled her body, shivering, as she approached Ye Wuchen a little closer, her body had a layer of goosebumps. Ye Wuchen piled up the rice straws behind him and quickly started a bonfire, bringing warmth to this small abandoned house.

“Xue-er, are you hungry?” Ye Wuchen asked.

“En.”

Ye Wuchen took out the pastries he brought from the Ye Family, distributed them to Ning Xue and Tong Xin, then he smiled and watched them gobble down the food in front of the not so big bonfire. Wang Wenshu loved her son dearly, so Ye Wuchen’s ring from the God of sword which happened to be able to store things, had all sorts of dried food and pastries, enough for them to consume for more than ten days without regard for whether or not they would turn bad after so many days.

“What the heck, it’s really damn bad luck. Didn’t gain anything in return. Just a body dripping wet under the pouring rain.”  

“That’s enough, at least we found shelter from the rain.”

“My whole body is fucking wet, shelter my ass, as I said, let’s just go back.”

“This lousy sky, it just rained without any warning.”

A few cursing voices approached from afar, accompanied by mixed footsteps. Ye Wuchen hugged Ning Xue tightly, the corner of his mouth curled up, smiling as he held up a corn cake and softly chewed. The act of a fairy teaching robbers some lessons was just about to begin.

A loud bang, and the door had been violently kicked open. The originally rotten wooden door almost fell apart from the kick. The person who kicked open the door saw the bonfire and immediately yelled, “Bah! There’s someone inside, also there’s fire.”

“I don’t care whether there are people inside or not, let’s go inside quickly.”

The four were roughly dressed, each of them held a large wood chopper as they came in. Their ages seemed above their thirties, with faces like devils and monsters, at first glance they were not virtuous men and were probably a group of robbers who broke into the houses nearby to steal.
