Ye Wuchen held the needles as he proceeded to Lin Xiu’s bed, twirling three in his right hand. He held them onto them for a long time then quickly lowered them, pricking them together on Lin Xiu’s forehead. He then let out a long sigh, inclining his body to the side, his back was already dripping with cold sweat.

His actions made Shui Nanhe think that something did not add up. He had never heard of such a method being used to perform acupuncture, but almost immediately, he had an expression of shock on his face.

Traces of the grey air slowly floated out from Lin Xiu’s forehead, like smoke. In the meantime, the dark greyish color on Lin Xiu’s body began to lighten up along with the outflow of the air. “No, please don’t say that brother Ye. It’s not a problem with your ability. Not only did you find out the symptoms of the illness, you were also able to point out the detoxification method, the antidote is truly… Ai, for my mother to be able to survive an additional two months is because of you, brother Ye. Suffering from this kind of poison implied that he would soon die… Tian Long’s Emperor was currently in the prime of his life, if he were to die like this, it would be a very tremendous blow for Tian Long Nation. If a new emperor took the throne with his foundation so unstable, and if he had shallow capabilities, there would come a time wherein the politics and internal affairs would be greatly affected by the confusion. The Gale Nation, glaring like a tiger watching its prey, would not let go of such an opportunity.

“This… This…” All the people’s hands and feet went ice-cold in terror. Long Zhengyang and Long Zhengyue were overwhelmed with shock. Even Long Yin’s facial expression was somehow stirred, in a trembling voice he said, “Is this true?”
