"I already know. It's in the Cloudless Square correct? I am already going there, you can head there ahead of me if you so will to do so." Wang Ling rebuked.

"What are you talking about, Brother Wang Ling? I am already heading over there. Worry now, our time of heading out is merely a coincidence, you need not worry about your Master's words." Says the guy who banged the door for ten minutes until Wang Ling comes out.

Wang Ling knows that Fjord was the kind of guy who will not shut up so he just kept his silence and observed the surrounding.

The Cloudless City was even bigger than Fleeting Wing City, it was a city like any other and the only difference it had was the food being sold on the street. There was a variety of food that can be found in there that is only sold in the Cloudless City. Cloudless City is just one of the seven cities holding the qualifiers.

The price of this Heavenly Dragon Selection is pride, honor, and treasures. There's also the chance of joining the inner sect of the Heavenly Dragon Sect that is controlled by the Heavenly Dragon Emperor.

Upon walking for twenty minutes or more, Wang Ling finally arrived at the square where thousands of people gathered.

The city square was a kilometer in diameter. There were seven stages that fit the area. But the thing that caught Wang Ling's attention was the floating stages present in the square. These stages are suspended in the air by numerous layers of formations.

Wang Ling was pleasantly surprise to see him but then remembered Limen's words about also joining the Heavenly Dragon Selection.

Limen's face beamed as he saw Wang Ling. He quickly approached him with one youth adjacent to him, "Did you just arrive as well as Brother Wang Ling?"

The people around the area was watching such a scene with surprise expressions. Seeing Limen talk to Wang Ling with respect as if the two were equal was a surprise.

"That's the Fire Lord Immortal Limen, correct? Who is that young Immortal he is talking to? Is he some Young Lord of some Clan? How come I have never seen him before?"

"He even has a beastman with him, he must be some bigshot. We need to look for him. But look at his body, he seems rather weak and frail, I just hope he is not some slumbering dragon." There are others who became warry of Wang Ling's appearance but Wang Ling ignored them.

This Heavenly Dragon Selection is comprised of Immortals that are at the age of 200 and below. Unless they are top of the crop geniuses, the strongest of them would be second meridian Immortals. Though there's also a chance of meeting a second meridian Immortal genius, he will take care of it when he gets there.

Turning to Limen, Wang Ling greeted him back. "So it is Senior Brother Limen, it is nice to see you again. Was your time in the Fire Dragon's Garden worthwhile? I hope nothing bad happened when I left."

"All is fine, brother Wang Ling. You need not worry over the disciples of my sect. Oh, this with is the disciple who will join the Heavenly Dragon Selection this time around, this is Tanglei, he is one of our most promising disciples."

Limen stepped forward and then greeted Wang Ling, "You may not know who I am but I saw you once in the Fire Dragon's Garden, the way you cleaved the tribulation with your sword left me awestruck. As a fellow swordsman, I wish to exchange pointers with you if we ever meet at the competition."

Wang Ling was just about to speak, but Fjord who was right behind him cut him off with a laugh, "You cleaved a heavenly tribulation? Hahaha, Brother Wang Ling is surely a warrior of the highest class!"

With Fjord's voice loud enough to reach the ears of hundreds of people present, Wang Ling received the attention. Stares of suspicions and doubt befell Wang Ling and as it did, Wang Ling did not shirk away from it, he gladly received it instead.

"Is such a feat even possible? If that is so, then, just what kind of divine swordsmanship does he possess?"

Once again, before Wang Ling can even react Fjord already answered with his dignified voice, "I am not his companion, I am just someone who coincidentally came with him to this city at the same time, and stayed at the same inn, but all of which is still coincidental. His introduction made Limen and Tanglei keep silent. Two things made them unable to say anything, first would be his shamelessness and the other would be the fact that he came from the Eastern Beast Mountain. Both things made the two unable to speak.

Wang Ling wanted to say something but chose not to as he found it rather tiring. Dealing with Fjord was something he would rather avoid than welcome. When the three people were at a stalemate on who is to speak, it was finally Wang Ling's time to register.

Wang Ling stood before the makeshift counter and was made to put his hands on a jade sphere. The jade sphere showed a magnificent glow and a thin jade tablet slowly come out of the jade sphere.

When the jade tablet finally appeared, and an aureate golden light was bestowed upon the thin jade tablet that exploded out. The sudden explosion of the golden light managed to attract even more attention towards Wang Ling.

The person in charge saw this and went over to Wang Ling, "May I please check your jade tablet?"

Wang Ling obliged with his request and handed it over which was given back shortly after.

It was then that an announcement was made, "Contender Wang Ling has reached the age qualifications, he will move directly to the main Selection."

A round of chaos emerged!

"What nonsense! Why can he move on so easily!? How come I have never heard of such absurdity!?"

"That's right, we have to fight for a position and he can just move forward without a problem? Such nonsense is unacceptable! Give us an answer!"
