Celestial Peak 249 The Grey Figure's Words

He does not know what this color meant but he sure knows that whatever they were, the three people in front of him know what is happening.

So, he first asked them who they were. But none of the three speak to answer, but they showed him what he wanted to see. Three kinds of aura spiked up and three distinct qis flew into the air.

The black figure emanated hellish qi, the white figure emanated angelic qi, and the grey figure emanated a mysterious kind of qi that has carnage and created mixed together.

Three figures, appearing without his knowledge of who they truly are was something he found weird. But the kinship and connection he could feeling towards the three was also undeniable that it made him speechless.

None of them were family nor were they someone from his past, but the connection he felt with them was real.

"You three exist in this world and for whatever reason, I am also here. Did any of you three do this?" None answered for a long time. That is until the grey figure in the middle finally spoke.

"These two does not have anything to speak as they are already someone you know." The black and white figure's body shook before turning into two balls of light. These two balls of flight flew into the air and both floated around Wang Ling.

"These… are my qi." he recognized the familiar feeling and because of that Wang Ling's mind once more shook as these two light flew away from him and into the hands of the grey figure.

Wang Ling saw this and found this action rather infuriating, so he glared onto the grey figure and said, "Those two are mine." He is feeling infuriated.

The grey figure stood there unmoving and then said, "Yes, these two are truly yours… but these two will soon be swipe away from you if you do not make your move. You are idling for far too long."

"What?" Wang Ling's guard rose as he asked the obvious question on this current situation.

The grey figure tilted its head and then started playing with the two qis, "The two Races have already got a glimpse of your existence. The False Nobles will make their moves and will begin knocking on the doors of this realm. They have located the remaining True Noble. They have found what they have been looking for, what do you think are they going to do? What do you think those bastards would do?"

Wang Ling could not follow because he has no idea what this being is talking about. What True and False Nobles? What is it talking about? And was it referring to him when it said something about being the True Noble? But there was something he could understand, there will soon be people who will come for him.

"I cannot understand what you are saying. But confirm this first, will these Nobles you are talking about going to harm me?" It was straightforward.

"Not only you, but they will exterminate this realm once they get their hands on my Legacy. Do you know what that means?" The figure showed a set of white teeth despite its countenance not having any features.

Wang Ling's face darkened as he got the message the figure was trying to say, "Do you mean they will touch my people?"

"That is correct. Those Nobles will come for you, soon, they will come and kill you then they will kill your family, and then the whole realm. If they can't get their hands on you then they might start with your family member and one by one they will kill them until there's no one else. Do you want that to happen?"

Wang Ling's face became darker and darker, his expression became uglier and then asked, "What do these Nobles want from me? What is it that they want so badly that they will destroy this realm for their own bidding? And when push comes to shove, can I not just give them the Legacy you speak of? Based on your words, it would seem that I have the Legacy they want, so what if I just cooperate with those people and give them the thing they want so badly and ensure my own people?"

The figure heard his words and broke into laughter, "Give it to them? Give it then, but nothing will change. They will eradicate this realm soon after and everyone living in it. They will erase any liability and even destroy their souls in the process of doing so, and even if you want to retaliate, the weakest of those bastards are already a Celestial at birth so you might want to rethink if what I speak of is true or not."

Hearing more and more of this thing, Wang Ling found it hard to believe. And he began to think and contemplate. And at the end of his contemplation, he asked himself, [When did I start listening to him? When did I start accepting his words are true?]

He looked at the grey figure who giggled slightly, "Try and hide your words but you can't. You listen to my words because I am directly speaking with thy soul. The soul cannot lie and when I speak of danger towards your family, I already have your attention starting then. Now listen once again, what I am about to say is important. If you want to live and keep your family safe, then kill everyone and anyone who has any connection to what is now known as the Devil and the Holy Race. Kill them before they leave for their race, this Realm is still sealed out from the two Races, kill them before they can communicate with the others. If you don't then everything you fight for will crumble in an instant."

As it spoke those words, the grey figure's body began to dim, "Oh it is about time."

"Time for what?"

"Your psyche is waking up and trying to connect with your soul. I'll probably become a specter watching you once again, but before I leave I shall answer your first question of what I am."

The figure moved its hand holding the two light and combined both light and began mixing the color until it turned grey. The grey figure looked into Wang Ling with its eyes less countenance and said, "This is who I am. Little one, quickly and raise your strength, embrace the light and darkness and become chaos."

At that same instance, Wang Ling's eyes open and the next thing he saw was the ceiling of a slightly familiar room. He held his head and then uttered, "I'll kill Qin Ao first."
