Celestial Peak 227 Trial Elimination

In the middle of the square, there was an open space where only a select few could enter. At the moment, there were seven people inside. Most of the youths inside were people who are referred to as monstrous geniuses.

The space they were in was a five hundred-meter space where an array set up around them that functions as a filter for the contestants and bystanders. The only people who could enter the said array were the ones who had a jade stick in their possession.

Bai Xue asked mockingly which Wang Ling responded with a smile as he slowly floated up and head for the middle space where the representatives who have the right to enter the 'True Bout".

Wang Ling slowly floated and he with Bai Xue entered the array. They felt pressure making them take a step back, but the jade stick in their possession glowed and granted them entrance.

They landed on the ground and chose a place where they would be inconspicuous. But as Wang Ling stood there doing nothing and keeping his silence. His natural charisma and good looks attracted the eyes of others.

"Isn't that Wang Ling? The Son of Heaven? What is he doing there with the rest of the "Trial Representatives"?" A man asked

A woman answered his question, "Only those of the Dragons and Phoenix Rankings are to move to the True Bout or the Main Bouts. Although he is hailed as one of the strongest, the Son of Heaven is not counted as one of the Dragons and Phoenix."

Wang Ling listened to them and merely sighed. He had learned of this too late now, but according to Wang Hong and the others. Only those of the Dragons and Phoenix Rankings and the people who passed the Trial Eliminations can move to the Main Bout.

Those who joined already numbered at 30 or more and as the Ten Year Bout was an event in the span of 4 days from the 27th day of the first month to the 30th day, there should only be a select number of competitors.

The Trial Eliminations had already been concluded years ago and it had no need to be introduced to those who watch the Ten Year Bout. Because the rules were simple, those who prevail would gain the right to join the Main Bout.

Time passed and more representative came and now there are 50 people inside the array. And the tension in the air had clearly increased. People were eyeing one another and as the war drums continued to sound out, everyone was on edge.

But as one more representative entered the array, the war drums was suddenly cut off and as everyone took notice of this, an awkward silence pervaded the air.

Everyone was on edge waiting for the time when the war drums were supposed to stop. But when it actually stopped, no one managed to react as nobody moved a muscle.

But as one female opened his eyes, the temperature inside the array spiked and then.

Boom!

An explosion of purple and black flames. Yan Renhuo had made her move and this acted as the signal to start the battle.

Inside an array where the fire burned the world like they were in an inferno. The crowd cheered as their blood boiled with the start of the Ten Year Bout.
