The Auction House will start welcoming the VIPs at around noon so Wang Ling decided to leave early and enter the auction house as early as dawn. He entered after paying the fee and even when he arrived as early as possible, the lower floor meant for rogue cultivators and the commoners were already half occupied.

He went to take a sit on the back row of the open seats and began meditating until noon arrived when loud cheers echoed from outside. Wang Ling's senses already extended over the entire venue so it was easy for him to peer through the people entering.

The old auctioneer waved his hand and a beautiful lady brought out a piece of item on top of a table. The treasure that first came out was known as the Dragon Tooth Sword, the sword of the Great Dragon Saint of the previous era.

At least that was how it was introduced as but Wang Ling knows the truth.

[They are selling a replica? I already destroyed the Dragon Tooth Sword so there can't be another one. Either way, Wang Ling's thoughts were kept as his own and was not spread to the populace who had their eyes at the Dragon Tooth Sword for the longest time. Because they can't see through the fake Dragon Tooth Sword it was bought by some unlucky bloke for 500,000 stellar stones.

There are appraisers who should be appraising the treasures being sold to the auction but one treasure managed to get past the meticulous appraisal of the auction house.

But what Wang Ling did not know was that the Dragon Tooth Sword that was sold was the true Dragon Tooth Sword. The original he had broken was reforged to become whole once more and it could have fooled most people that it was repaired to its peak because the aura and even the intent it possessed managed to be recovered by the blacksmith.

If this was the past it might have taken Wang Ling two looks in order to ascertain if the treasure was genuine or not, but right now he only needs a single glance. His eyes had already evolved to the point that he can see the spirits of the swords.

The manifestations of different swords' sharpness and the spirit or the soul imbued into it by the wielder can be peered into by Wang Ling's current eyes.

Wang Ling waited and watched the auction to continue and would stay quiet for most times until something catches his eyes. But as time went on and the only ones who can participate in the auction are the VIP people, he managed to disappear in the background of everything.
