The eye trembled as it reveled in the power it had received. The being had been absorbing the remnants of this world. It may not have touched everything just yet, but it had received enough qi to revive.

The aura of death that corroded the land began to congregate at the crumbling temple of the Black Dragon where it dove deep passed the hard ancient ground and into the Black Dragon statue that is located within the very temple.

Cracks were formed in the body of the Black Dragon Statue. Black Light was emerging, a roar emanated from the Black Dragon Statue, it was no roar of the Dragon but the roar of death.

The seal was crumbling, and soon it would be destroyed. But the people of the past was prepared for this very problem. Vague figures of ten people emerged from the ground, they shone brilliantly and turned into chains made of golden light.

They tied down the stone statue trying to control the rampage of the evil within it. The cracks were disappearing, the tremors around the world is being kept silence swept the area as if everything was already over.

But as if it was the calm before the storm, a roar from the depths of the seal reverberated in the ears of what remains of the first layer all the way to the second layer beyond space.

The ears of many felt a sharp pain and the thorns that should have settled burst out from the ground and then ravaged everything around it, destroying the temple in the process.

The runes that had been on the ground of the temple began to crumble with the destroyed floor. The first chain was snapped off and the others followed shortly. Everything around it crumbled and snapped until nothing could stop the destruction of the seal.

In a grand explosion, the statue of the Black Dragon came to be. And from within the Black Dragon's statue came out a middle-aged man with a body made of a dark substance that resembles that of obsidian.

Its face was far from resembling a human. It was a skull, to be specific it resembled the skull of a dear. It had fangs and from its hallowed eye sockets were two red dots that slowly turned red than golden before settling to gray.

It turned its skull-like head to the ceiling of the cavern as if it was observing the view above, the cavern where the temple was held was slowly crumbling and falling apart. Water was gushing in, and soon enough caver will be filled with water.

Its black body slowly formed armor-like shapes. These armors covered its entire body and other than its head, everything else was covered in its entirety. The armor it had was reminiscent of the past.

As the armor found its place on the body of the dark being the aura of death surged across the whole place and it disappeared as to where it stood. The being sealed in the Black Dragon's Final Battlefield finally escaped.

With its escape, the being flew up to the surface to eradicate the life of this plane. While all this was happening, no one from the outside knew of this event.

On the surface was the bloodied figure of Wang Ling who was bleeding all over. The hundreds of thorns that is stuck to his body was enough to make anyone shudder and devoid of strength to even stand.

It was a mystery how he was still alive. But if one look closely, white flames were burning from in between the gaps of his body trying to mend the wound he had. And as the white flames struggled to keep him alive, Wang Ling did his best and call upon the Holy Lord bloodline.

Seven haloes emerged from the back of his head. But this was not enough to save him from this doom.

His strength escaped him and his body became limp. He was devoid of strength, the thorns are trying to take everything away from him, even the strength that is held in the Blood Hell Pearl.

But as his body lost strength, something from deep within lit up. It was strange, it was not his power and he was not accustomed to this light.

The light rose into the air into the form of a beautiful and youthful woman. It turned to Wang Ling who had been suffering from the assault of the thorns. He raised his head with great difficulty and he smiled at the sight of the woman, "Grand — Mother Xiao Yu. I didn't think I'll be able to see another person from my family before here. How are you?"

A casual talk was how he opened the conversation. Xiao Yu seemed gentle, but her anger was surging. Qi beyond Immortality surged from her body, a power that is beyond that of Xiao Jianfa.

"How are you in such a state? Why don't you ignite your bloodline to save yourself? Are you not the pinnacle of the Holy Race? You have enough strength to that at least, right?" Xiao Yu, Wang Ling's grandmother asked him like it was nothing.

Wang Ling shook his head, "I have no more strength, so I will die soon if nothing is done about these thorns. Activating my bloodline is best I could do, sorry about that grandmother, can I at least request for you to let my family know I died peacefully?"

And as she stared down, she gathered everything she had in her left hand and like the God that she was, the world trembled in her very presence and once she finally gathered what remained of the will she had given Wang Ling, her body began to turn transparent.

But just before she disappeared, she let her palms let go of the power she gathered and across the ten-kilometer radius, a palm imprint was created in the ocean below.

The imprint was filled with God Might and along the way, its travel to the bottom of the ocean the figure that escaped the Black Dragon Statue was swatted down and had its body flattened like it was some kind of fly.

The being that devoured the beings that reside in the Black Dragon Battlefield was like cannon fodder in front of Xiao Yu.

Xiao Yu smiled and turned to Wang Ling, "I used everything I had to eradicate the Abyssal Demon, I now know where you are, I shall pick you up in seven days, I will locate you do not worry."

Wang Ling was still at a loss for words. But as he remembered about the Origin World and the abnormal power of Xiao Jianfa who was a Low-God, he thought that this may not be the most absurd thing going on in the Celestial Spirit Realm.
