It made her shiver as she threw a blanket over him unappreciatively. "I'm going to take a shower too."

Yan Beicheng glanced at the empty bowl on the table. He had not expected her to finish the noodles.

He smiled as he took the bowl and chopsticks into the kitchen to rinse them.

When he returned to the bedroom, Lin Chu was still not done showering. Thus, he continued browsing the forum he had checked out earlier.

When Lin Chu came out of the shower, she saw Yan Beicheng engrossed with his phone and wondered what he was looking at.

She gave him a sneak attack as she rushed over. "What are you looking at?"

Yan Beicheng could not hide it from her in time, so she managed to see what he had been reading.

Lin Chu looked at him seriously. "Am I really that moody?"

Yan Beicheng immediately shook his head. "No, no. I'm just checking what I should pay attention to during pregnancy. The mini pamphlet may have contained information, but I'd still like to balance it out by reading about other's experiences. I'm just scrolling through this forum for fun."

"I can't. Grandpa and grandma are early risers. It's not nice for us to be sleeping in so lazily like this," Lin Chu said as she attempted to remove Yan Beicheng's arms from her waist.
