Yan Beicheng laughed silently at the sound of her voice. He could almost see her anxious demeanor through the phone, it was really funny.

"I'm going home tomorrow, but I'll probably reach around midnight. You don't need to wait up for me," Yan Beicheng said.

Lin Chu replied with a 'yes' but as for the decision to wait up for Yan Beicheng or not, it was really up to her.

She felt uneasy about it.

Lin Chu's face was still dark when Aunt Zhuang opened the door.

"Lin Chu, what happened? Did something happen to the orphanage?" Aunt Zhuang asked in surprise.

Lin Chu shook her head, "Nope. It's just that I bumped into someone I didn't really like."

Aunt Zhuang was surprised, "In our building? That shouldn't happen!"
