The President is Being Shameless Again Chapter 115 - Who Is This Brat, And Why Is He Out Annoying Others?

Su Changxin did not have time for this, it was insane. She was not afraid that Lin Chu wanted to sue Lin Yuwen. As the lawyer had said, in this case, Lin Yuwen would be the one ultimately found guilty. There was a high probability that she would only be fined for indemnity. The chances for imprisonment were low. After all, the case was not well-defined. It might have been intentional murder or intentional wounding.

She was more worried that Lin Yuwen was not even fully healed, yet she had been taken into custody. In spite of the fact that the Lin family had bribed the detention center to take care of her, to not let Lin Yuwen get bullied. Still, it was not a hundred percent guarantee.

Even though she would not be bullied, it would be hard for her to eat and sleep well. It would be hard for her to recover in there.

Letting Lin Yuwen endure hardsh.i.p.s in there, it was as if her heart was torn out and twisted into strands!

Since Su Changxin was kicked out of the building by the security guards, she stopped caring, as she was unable to anyway.

Su Changxin panted as she sorted out her clothes and hair. She realized everyone around was watching the scene, and it made her feel embarrassed.

She pursed her lips, feigned a calm expression on her face and nonchalantly went inside the car. Yet, she stayed there unmoved.

She was waiting there, was Lin Chu not supposed to leave for a meal? She was kicked out, but if she confronted Lin Chu here then the result would have been different! The security guard was able to kick her out of the company, but not from the street. They could not have driven her out of there!

When the time came and the news spread, Lin Chu had driven people out as well. Hence, she was no better than anyone.

She could not bring herself to care much now, her daughter was about to get herself into trouble. Who would care about reputation!

Upstairs, Lin Chu frowned as she thought, she then called the security guard and asked whether or not Su Changxin had left.

"She went inside her car and hadn't moved, the car's still parked by the roadside near the entrance." The security guard said.

Lin Chu hung up the phone. Zheng Yuntong was still worried and asked, "How's your wrist? Let's go back to the hospital and have it re-examined?"

"It's fine, the pain subsided." Lin Chu replied, her wrist was already plastered. A while ago Su Changxin grabbed and pulled it, causing just a little bit of pain.

Zheng Yuntong went and looked down the window. "Which car is Su Changxin's?"

"I think it's the white one." Lin Chu came over as she pointed at one of the cars by the roadside.

At this time there was only one white color sedan by the roadside downstairs, it was easy to identify.

Zheng Yuntong then continued, "How about we call for delivery, judging by the current situation, it seems like she's planning to block you if you go down."

Lin Chu had seen through Su Changxin's strategy as well and agreed to call for delivery.

As they were about to call for delivery, they received a call from Yan Beicheng. Once the call was picked up, he immediately asked, "I just received a call from Xiao Deng that Su Changxin went there and harassed you, how're you doing?"

"I'm fine, everyone's here helping out." Lin Chu said, "Xiao Deng's here as well, so nothing will go wrong. Yuntong and I were thinking of going out and getting Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisine, but Su Changxin's waiting downstairs. We can't get out now, so we're planning to call for delivery."

"No need, I'll ask Sheng Yue to send it to you immediately. It'd take who knows how long for the delivery to arrive if you call. By that time, lunchtime will probably be over." Yan Beicheng said as he put aside the doc.u.ments at hand to concentrate on talking with Lin Chu. "Sheng Yue's not far from Lin Yi anyway. You're hurt now, and I'm not at ease if you'd just simply call for any delivery. Who knows what's in the ingredients and the amount of oil."

Zuo Qiu guessed that Yan Beicheng would not hang up his phone even after half an hour of talking. He looked at the time, and after getting the hint from Yan Beicheng, he allowed the supervisors to leave first.

The supervisors sneaked a glance at Yan Beicheng. This person started talking on his phone with his girlfriend and completely disregarded them. They were the ones that felt awkward from the situation now. 

When they were in the meeting, Yan Beicheng's expression was as serious as ever. As long as he was working, the atmosphere would be particularly suppressed and they did not dare to impose on him. Everything was said in a cautious and solemn tone, they just could not help but shiver in his presence.

Once Zuo Qiu received a call and spoke a word or two to Yan Beicheng, his expression grew darker. It was frightening and intimidating, they could not help but stay seated.

Afterward, as Yan Beicheng was making a call, his expression stayed dark. Though, as soon as the other party picked up the phone, Yan Beicheng's expression grew as gentle as the spring wind. The warmness was almost blinding to them.

The all-around difference in treatment was so big, it made the supervisors felt bitter.

Lin Chu heard the other background noises from the other side of the phone, she frowned and sat down on her seat. She slightly turned her chair and asked, "You're not on your break yet?"

"I was in a meeting," Yan Beicheng replied truthfully as he looked at the door and saw Zuo Qiu had left, and closed the door behind him. Yan Beicheng's voice became gentler. 

A low and purely magnetic voice that was already pleasant to the ear, now quiet and soft was directly transmitted through Lin Chu's mobile phone that was pressed up against her ears. Lin Chu's ear then started to turn numb and red from it.

Lin Chu's whole face grew red, she then sneaked a glance at Zheng Yuntong. Zheng Yuntong was by the window sill, pretending to look out at the scenery.

Lin Chu then said in a lower volume, "It's quite late now, and you haven't taken your meal. You're calling me up and nagging me, yet you're not paying attention to yourself."

Yan Beicheng laughed softly, as if he enjoyed her condemnation. "I got it, I'll eat right away."

Lin Chu thought about it and was not convinced. She knew how busy he was and was afraid that he would start getting busy and forget about it. "You need to get your meal now, and as you're eating take a picture and let me see it. Then, I'll not worry anymore."

"Alright." Yan Beicheng's eyes were crinkled, and his pupils grew gentle akin to smudged ink.

After hanging up the phone, he personally called Sheng Yue and ordered some light and delicious dishes. He asked for them to be delivered in the shortest amount of time. He then called Lawyer Zhou and afterward called Zuo Qiu over to eat the meal.

Lin Chu hung up the phone, she had originally lost her appetite due to the ruckus caused by Su Changxin. Even though she was not that angry, she was annoyed about it. However, after talking on the phone with Yan Beicheng, her annoyance disappeared instantly.

She then found Old Lady Yan's phone number from the address book and proceeded to dial it.

She initially wanted to wait for her state of mind to calm down before calling. Now that it was better, she was scared Old Lady Yan would be worried, so she quickly gave her a call.

The phone only rang twice and Old Lady Yan picked up right away. "Lin Chu, I was just calling you but I couldn't get through because you're engaged on other calls."

"Just now Beicheng was on the phone with me, and we talked for a while," Lin Chu explained, "Once he hung up, I called you right after."

"Sigh, I heard from Xiao Deng that Su Changxin went over to look for you?" Old Lady Yan asked, her voice was worried.

"Yes, but don't worry, nothing happened," Lin Chu said.

"Let Cheng'er handle this matter, you don't have to worry about it," Old Lady Yan said straightforwardly as she waved her hand.

She was at the age where her breakfast was taken early, and around half-past eleven, she would have finished her lunch. Currently, she was enjoying her tea as she peeled nuts. She chewed it in her mouth, making crackling and crunching sound. "That bone soup, drink up while you can. I specifically asked Xiao Chen to throw in a lot of ingredients good for women. It'll warm you up."

Lin Chu then agreed one after another.

Sheng Yue's delivery came in a jiffy, and it did not come in an ordinary takeout container. It came with Sheng Yue's bowls and plates for heat preservation. Yan Beicheng said before, those takeout containers were said to be able to handle high temperature, but who could actually confirm this, what if it was no good? They would be fine for others to use, but not for Lin Chu.

When the general manager heard this, he thought that Yan Beicheng actually had the potential to become an unscrupulous businessman.

Su Changxin was still waiting downstairs, and Lin Chu had not come out. She had no other ideas aside from looking for Lin Chu, she had no clue who else she could look for.

Just as she was thinking whether or not she should wait until Lin Chu left work at night, she had not noticed a Mercedes Benz that was parked in the vacant space few spaces behind her.

Her car window was knocked a few times, Su Changxin turned and realized a police car was parked right beside hers. A uniformed police officer then came down from the car.

Su Changxin frowned, she lowered her window down. She had not said a word yet, the police officer then showed his ID and proceeded to say, "Madam, please step out of the car."

"Why?" Su Changxin asked impolitely, "We're allowed to park here. Moreover, you're not the traffic police."

"I'm the one that reported you. Ms. Su, you've harassed my client, and caused a great disturbance to my client." Lawyer Zhou's voice was heard.

"Madam, please come with us," the policeman said officially.

Su Changxin was brought to the police station to be lectured. The news was then leaked from an unknown source, reaching the media.

When Su Chang left the station, she was surrounded by reporters. Microphones, voice recorders, and the cameras were all held up against her face. She was even hit a couple of times on her face by camera's lens and it hurt.

At night, Lin Chu watched the video of Su Changxin coming out of the police station online. Su Changxin did not think that she would be surrounded by so many reporters at the entrance of the police station. She could not leave even if she wanted to.

Facing the blunt questions from the reporters, Su Changxin was unable to hold herself back. Finally, she could not keep quiet any further and at the end of her rope, she began to cry out, "Get out of my way!"

The whole scene was chaotic, Su Changxin's fierce and distorted face became the focal point of the camera's shot from time to time. It made the scene particularly embarrassing. 

Lin Yuwen had no clue how she reached this stage in her life. She was a grand, rich young lady, yet unexpectedly she had to be detained with these people of all kinds. Moreover, she had to clean up with these people. 

Ever since she was born, she had never done this before!

This was all due to the Lin Family's connection as well, that she would be given maximum comfort while she was in there. They spared her the heavy work, only light chores that included wiping the window sills, table and chairs.

Using only her thumb and forefinger to pinch up the corner of the dirty rag, she started to work unwillingly. She looked at the quite robust woman beside her, then said in an arrogant tone, "Help me do my chores, and I'll give you 200 Yuan."

Lin Yuwen's manner of speaking was terrible, and her expression was obvious that she was looking down on her. 

The robust woman looked over and slammed the mop to the ground fiercely. "What's the point of acting so arrogantly to us while you're in here?!"

Lin Yuwen's complexion changed as she got slightly tense. She was not bullying anyone and even offered money for work. Why was this woman so discontent?

"I can't do these chores, and you can't make money while you're here. I'm giving you a chance, why can't you recognize my good intentions!" Lin Yuwen looked in revulsion at the robust woman that was walking towards her.

"F*ck, you really think you're someone special! You can't do it?" The robust woman suddenly lifted the plastic red bucket that was near Lin Yuwen's leg and proceeded to dump it down Lin Yuwen's head. Then, she slammed the bucket to the ground. "200 Yuan was it? You're calling me a beggar! Who wants to willingly do manual labor for you, we're all in custody together. Who do you think you're showing off for?!"

Lin Yuwen shouted sharply, as it was cold from the inside out. It was winter and the detention center would not be so kind as to give warm water for them to work with. The water was cold as ice, adding to the cold winter air, the bucket of water that could pierce through bones was then poured down on her. Lin Yuwen started shivering from the cold, her already ill complexion turned paler and her lips turned purple. 

She took a step forward, then out of nowhere a leg was stretched out at her ankle. 

"Ah!" Lin Yuwen shouted as a loud thump was heard, her whole body fell onto the puddle of water.

The robust woman kicked her once, and someone shouted, "Someone's coming!"

They immediately dispersed and each did their work as if nothing had happened. 

When the police officers came over, they looked around and lifted Lin Yuwen. They asked what was going on, and no one answered.

Lin Yuwen pointed at the robust woman and said, "It's her, she poured water on me and someone kicked me!"

"I didn't do that, I've been mopping the floor. She stumbled all on her own and spilled the water, now she's blaming me." The robust woman said.

The others then echoed, "That's right, she did that to herself. No one else was involved."

"She even tried to give money to Ms. Lili, so Ms. Lili would do her chores for her."

In the end, the matter was settled inconclusively. Lin Yuwen not only failed to find justice, but she was also reprimanded. However, since the Lin Family had bribed the officers in the first place she was not treated harshly. Lin Yuwen was then sent to her cell.

During leisure time in the evening, Lin Yuwen's door was suddenly kicked open. Lin Yuwen was drenched with cold water in the morning and now her eyelids felt heavy, she knew that she was definitely sick.

Just as she opened her eyelids, she was pulled down by her hair and fell down her bed. 

"Ah! What're you guys doing!" Lin Yuwen shrieked.

"It's cold, the quilts aren't enough!" After finishing the sentences, several of them took away her quilt and bed.

Another person looked across her table and opened the drawer, her gaze avariciously brightened up. "Oh, so many good treats! There's even a ready-to-eat bird's nest!"

The woman said nothing more and pulled out her whole drawer, and took the drawer with her.

"You guys— you guys give it back! Give me back everything!" Lin Yuwen screamed as she lay on top of the cold floor, crawling towards the door, yet everyone had already left.

She was getting weaker and out of energy. The floor was so cold that she was able to feel it piercing in her bones. She wanted to get up but was unable to. Helplessly, she fell asleep and in the end, it was her prison mate that came back and saw that she fainted on the floor. She then brought her to the infirmary.

On the day of the court session, Yan Huaian and Yu Zi both came to attend. The two elders were old, Lin Chu and Yan Beicheng asked them to not bother coming.

The Lin Family were unreasonable, Lin Zhenghe would probably come over with that thick-skin of his to demand something from the two elders. Perhaps Su Changxin will even cause a scene, it would be inappropriate for the two elders to watch.

Although Yan Ningbai was on school break, Yan Huaian and Yu Zi did not bring him along and sent him to the Family Mansion.

At the entrance of the Family Mansion, Yan Ningbai refused to let go of Yan Huaian's leg. All his limbs were wrapped around it. "Dad, dad, bring me along with you! I also care about big niece-in-law!"

"Stop making trouble, just stay at home. It's not a playground there. What if the Lin Family went mad and hurt you." Yu Zi finally pulled Yan Ningbai off Yan Huaian's leg. "Stay at home and listen to your Eldest Uncle and Eldest Auntie, we'll call back to inform the latest news."

He then brought out his small phone book and found Qi Youxuan's phone number. He went to the orphanage's living room and picked up the landline telephone next to the sofa and dialed it.

Even though the two little guys started quarreling as soon as they meet, but as they quarreled, their relationship deepened further and they even exchanged their telephone numbers. Of course, Mo Jinxi's phone number was the landline telephone of the orphanage.

Yang Ningbai heard this and furtively escaped the elder's eyes. He sneaked into the backyard, "You— do you wanna go to the court and watch?"

Mo Jinxi's surprised eyes brightened up. "Can your family take us there?"

Old Master Yan was watering the flowers near the entrance, while Old Lady Yan was putting the DVD that Yan Beicheng and Lin Chu brought back into the DVD player to play it.

Yan Ningbai rushed behind Old Lady Yan and turned his back against Old Master Yan that was watering plants in front of the French window. He then quickly called out, "Eldest Uncle, I'm going out to find my friends!"

"Go ahead, don't run off too far." Old Master Yan said without lifting his head.

Yan Ningbai then fled quickly, Old Master Yan looked up for a while and looked out the window. He saw Yan Ningbai's back that was fleeing quickly, he thought that he was just anxious to go out and play, hence he did not pay any further mind.

Yan Ningbai ran out of the neighborhood and stopped a taxi on the side of the road. He then climbed in and gave the address of the orphanage.

The driver gave him a strange look, did this kid ran away from home and planned to go to the orphanage to be an orphan?

The more he thought about it the more curious he gotten. The driver then could not help but look at him from the rearview mirror. Yan Ningbai shifted his little butt and held the backpack on his arms tightly. "I— I have no money. Just because I'm a little kid, doesn't mean you can rob me! I— I already called the principal of the orphanage, if I'm not there on time, she, she'll call the police!"

The driver, "..."

Who is this brat, and why is he out annoying others?

Yan Ningbai was still worried, he moved his eyeballs downward and took out a cellphone from his backpack. He then pretended to poke on the screen twice. "Dad, it's me. I almost reached the orphanage, once I picked Jinxi up I'll go and look for you guys. Are you asking for the license plate number?"

Yan Ningbai then shifted back to the middle and read out word by word of the driver's ID information that was exhibited on the front passenger seat. 

The driver then looked at the rearview mirror again, "..."
