Lin Chu smiled, "Besides, I like him. If I have the capability in the future, I'd like to adopt him. Jinxi has been a good boy since young. He can be cheeky sometimes but it's cute. There aren't many children in the orphanage now and families tend to adopt babies. They like to bring them up from young, and usually don't adopt those that have already grown up. Yan Beicheng's face went dark as he got off his car in a huff. He walked towards his car boot and took out the biggest hook he had in there.

This was the hook he had purchased online after using a fishing hook to puncture Cheng Ziming's car tires the last time. The original hook had been gifted to Old Master Yan.

He was unable to find the hook he wanted, but he did find a treble hook, the kind used by those black-clothed men seen in television who were up to no good in the middle of the night. They were always using this hook to climb up a wall by tying it to a rope.

Yan Beicheng was excited over finding this hook online, this internet seller did sell many weird trinkets. So he bought one and took it apart, turning it into a hook that could fit by hand.

Ever since puncturing Cheng Ziming's tires the last time, Yan Beicheng had decided to keep a spare tool in case of similar situations. Who knew he would need to use it someday? It looked like he was right to be prepared as this was the right time to use it.

Yan Beicheng looked around to make sure there was no one. In addition to his last experience, he had a bigger and longer hook, which made it easier to puncture all four tires. The speed of the air being let out was much faster.

Yan Beicheng returned the hook to his boot and stopped in front of the unit door. He pressed the button for Lin Chu's home.

Xu Moyan was at home. She saw Yan Beicheng standing outside via the intercom but did not see Lin Chu. She thought Lin Chu must be standing next to him, which was why she was not seen on the screen, so she buzzed the door open.

Lin Chu came out from the elevator to see Cheng Ziming standing in front of her house. Her face immediately went grim.

Xu Moyan must not have known he was there, otherwise, she would have chased him away.

"What do you want from me again?" Lin Chu said impatiently. It was annoying.

Cheng Ziming asked sarcastically, "Does Yan Beicheng know the relationship between you and the owner of that Grand Cherokee?"

"What?" Lin Chu blinked as she was stunned.

Cheng Ziming interpreted it as Lin Chu being guilty and acted all superior, "Break up with Yan Beicheng. Initiate the breakup with him and I will leave you some dignity. Otherwise, I'll tell Yan Beicheng that you were with a rich old man before him."

Cheng Ziming snorted, "Well, it might be before him. Who knows, you might still be seeing him."

Lin Chu found herself unable to even get mad about this. She could only ask speechlessly, "Why do you think that the owner of that Grand Cherokee is a rich, old man?"

Cheng Ziming was taken aback. He did not have evidence on this and did not even attempt to properly investigate this matter. This thought was just a preconceived notion of his.

When he first saw Lin Chu came out of the black Grand Cherokee, Yan Beicheng had not yet appeared. At that time, Lin Chu to him was the unloved lone daughter of the Lin family who had nothing. Yan Beicheng could not help but gave a gentle smile. He walked over and put his arm around her waist naturally, "I was waiting for you to turn on your bedroom lights in the car. Then I saw Cheng Ziming's car. I was worried he would harass you so I quickly came up to take a look. I didn't think about putting my coat on. It's just a few steps up, it's not that cold."

Even so, Lin Chu still glared at him reproachfully as she did not agree with this. She was blaming him for not taking good care of himself.

Cheng Ziming's face went grim. What did he mean by him harassing Lin Chu?

Yan Beicheng did not look at Cheng Ziming when he said to Lin Chu, "Do you have Lin Yuwen's number?"

"I do," Lin Chu replied. She did not question him about needing the number and immediately searched for Lin Yuwen's number.

Even though she did not contact Lin Yuwen, she still had the number.

Yan Beicheng took her phone and made the call, "Mrs. Cheng, this is Yan Beicheng. Your husband is now harassing Lin Chu at her house. Please come over and take him away. He's already a married man yet he does not know to respect himself. This is giving me and Lin Chu a headache. I do hope that Mrs. Cheng will be able to control your own man and get him to stop paying attention to someone else's girlfriend. It would be good for him to stay loyal after marriage."

Cheng Ziming had not expected Yan Beicheng to contact Lin Yuwen directly.

Although he did tell Lin Yuwen that he had something that could be held against Lin Chu, but the old man who drove the Grand Cherokee was just a figment of his imagination. He did not dare tell Lin Yuwen that he was coming over to Lin Chu's place tonight.

"There's no need. I'll let her know not to come. I'll leave myself," Cheng Ziming said grim-faced. He walked towards the elevator and pressed the button. Yan Beicheng had just come out from the elevator, so it was still at this level.

The elevator door opened but Cheng Ziming did not immediately go in. He looked at Yan Beicheng, "Master Yan, you should be extra careful. But since you don't believe me, there is nothing I can do or say. I just hope Master Yan would not be disappointed in the future."

Cheng Ziming walked in the elevator after finishing his words.

Lin Chu was seething with anger. How could she not be angry?

They had already broken up. Besides, it was him, Cheng Ziming, who had cheated on her. What gave him the right to come here and malign her?

Why must Cheng Ziming wish the worse for her?

"Wait a minute," Lin Chu pulled on her sleeves and turned to open the door with her keys.

 After opening her door, she turned back to remind him, "Don't leave yet, I'll be out in a minute."

Lin Chu went in only after Yan Beicheng nodded.

After two or three minutes, she came out holding a huge black coat.

"We don't have any men's clothes at home. I bought this two months ago when the boyfriend coat became popular this year. The measurement is big and cutting is considered unisex. It won't look bad on you. Put this on before you head down," Lin Chu said as she gave Yan Beicheng the coat.

This was indeed a huge coat. The shoulder line fell onto the arms, which made women look smaller.

But Yan Beicheng just looked at it and did not take the coat from her hands. No matter how big it was, it was still a coat for women.

"Put it on quickly. It's dark out, no one can see a thing," said Lin Chu.

"…" Yan Beicheng could not say anything to reject her even though it was difficult for him to put on women's clothes. It was also too embarrassing to wear it.

However, he could not bear to reject Lin Chu as he watched her being concerned over him and was trying her best to take care of him.

He continued mumbling about it but still stretched out his arms for Lin Chu to help put the coat on him. It surprisingly fitted him.

Yan Beicheng was tall and Lin Chu's coat was the 'boyfriend' style. The original size was already too large for her but she had chosen a bigger size for herself. Now that it was on Yan Beicheng, the shoulders fitted. The length of the coat reached his thigh; it looked like a men's coat meant for wearing over the suit, it did not look strange on him at all.

The black coat seemed to bring out the best of his physical attributes. He looked taller and slenderer. The lower hem was short, which brought out the best of his legs.

Lin Chu had bought the casual style. She rarely saw Yan Beicheng wear casual. Now that she looked at him, he looked chic and relaxed. It was a good look on him although it was different from his usual style.

"Isn't this nice?" Lin Chu smiled as she took a picture of him with her phone.

Yan Beicheng looked at that picture. He did not expect himself to look quite normal. It looked like menswear, which gave him relief.

He tidied himself up and thought he looked good. He felt that he was naturally made for all types of clothes, he looked good in anything.

Lin Chu did not know that Yan Beicheng was indulging in his narcissism at that moment and hold on to his arms, "Let's go. I'll walk down with you."

Yan Beicheng looked at her and walked with her into the elevator. Lin Chu explained, "If I knew you were leaving, I won't accompany you. But I know you'll be waiting downstairs, which means that I will be walking down with you."

Yan Beicheng smiled and pulled her hand, clasping them in his. He suddenly said, "How about I bring over a few clothing items to keep here? If there was another situation like today, you can bring it out for me to wear."

"There's no room for them," Lin Chu said tactlessly. They stepped out of the elevator.

After walking out of the unit door, they saw Cheng Ziming standing next to his car looking terrible. He was a little surprised upon seeing Yan Beicheng and Lin Chu.

Lin Chu was curious. He said he was leaving, right? Why was he still here?

She darted a look at Cheng Ziming and noticed the punctured tires.

"What are you looking at?" Yan Beicheng held on to her waist and squeezed it as he lowered his head to say quietly into her ears. His low, deep voice was a little cooling in the night air. He took the opportunity to bite her ear as if it was punishment for looking over at Cheng Ziming.

Lin Chu's ear burned red, "What is this shot in the dark?! I was looking at him because he said he was leaving but he's still here. I saw his punctured tires instead. That's really a piece of bad luck."

Lin Chu could not help but laugh at his misery.

Yan Beicheng gave a light laugh as well. He was feeling great seeing Lin Chu enjoying the scene. He could not help himself but kissed her on the corner of her lips.

Cheng Ziming watched the two getting intimate as if no one was around and got angry. He glared at them and noticed Yan Beicheng and Lin Chu walk towards the black Grand Cherokee. It was the same one he had seen driving Lin Chu around.

Yan Beicheng opened the car door and took out a coat to change. He returned Lin Chu's coat to her and brought Lin Chu over to him.

Cheng Ziming went green as he saw Yan Beicheng look at him with a sarcastic laugh in his eyes.

It was only now that he had realized that it had been a total joke for him to assume that the Grand Cherokee belonged to an old man who was keeping Lin Chu as a mistress. The car had always belonged to Yan Beicheng.

He had seen the car picking up Lin Chu very early on.

If that was the case, was Lin Chu already with Yan Beicheng at an earlier time?

He and Lin Yuwen had come to her to accuse her of not letting him go. They had even advised her to find a normal man to spend her life with. Lin Chu might have been laughing at him all those times.

"My tires are punctured by some uncivilized person," Cheng Ziming said stiffly as he looked suspiciously at Yan Beicheng.

This was too much of a coincidence. The last time he came looking for Lin Chu, his car tires were punctured the next day after he went home. Today at Lin Chu's house, his tires were once again punctured.

Cheng Ziming did not believe that this had nothing to do with Yan Beicheng.

However, it was difficult to imagine him doing something so degrading by looking at the upright charisma he was emanating now.

Seeing as Yan Beicheng did not react, Cheng Ziming insinuated, "Did Master Yan see any suspicious character coming near my car?"

Xu Moyan was putting on a facial mask while watching a variety show in the living room. When Lin Chu came in to bring her coat out, she knew it had something to do with Yan Beicheng. She was confident that Yan Beicheng would not come in. Who knew Lin Chu would bring Yan Beicheng back again.

Xu Moyan blinked. The green facial mask was still stuck on her face, which Yan Beicheng caught sight of. It was so embarrassing, "Lin Chu, why didn't you tell me you were bringing someone back here! Look at me, this is so embarrassing! I'm hating you for life!"

She ran off after finishing her words.
