The President is Being Shameless Again Chapter 159 - Yan Beicheng Moved His Leg In Pain, Feeling As If It Had Just Got Struck By A Stone

Yan Ningbai's face immediately paled after hearing what Yan Beicheng said and his head drooped a little. 

His head hung low for a few seconds before he looked up once again. "Then… Can Chu Xi sleep with us tonight please?" 

Mo Jinxi's eyes instantly widened with hopefulness. Both the kids knew that it was pointless to beg Yan Beicheng, so they turned to Lin Chu. 

They knew that Yan Beicheng would never say no to Lin Chu!

Just like that, the two adorable boys stared eagerly at her with their puppy eyes, with Chu Xi by their side who was also staring at her restlessly. 

Sadly, although Chu Xi intended to act cute, it did not have the face to do so anymore. Back when Chu Xi was still a small puppy, it still looked somewhat dumb, but in an adorable manner. However, now that it had grown up, it could no longer act cute the way it used to anymore. 

Nevertheless, Lin Chu's heart softened at the sight of the three rascals in front of her. Since Chu Xi had just showered and was all clean, she turned toward Yan Beicheng with a small smile. 

Many people did not allow their dogs to sleep with their children because of the mentality that dogs carried germs and bacteria that would infect the children. As a result, most people felt that it was an unhygienic and dangerous thing to do. 

Lin Chu had always scoffed at the idea of this. It had already been scientifically proven that allowing one's dogs to sleep with one's child would not only not infect the child, but rather, was beneficial for the child's growth. 

Therefore, ever since she had first gotten Chu Xi, she had decided that when she had kids in the future, she would never send Chu Xi away. 

Lin Chu could not stand the two boys' puppy eyes whereas Yan Beicheng was unable to resist Lin Chu's. 

She did not even need to try much either, just a mere glance at him was enough to do the trick. 

Yan Beicheng straightaway nodded his head. "Alright, you can all sleep together." 

"Yay!" Yan Ningbai began to jump up and down on the sofa enthusiastically. He did a little happy dance before turning toward Mo Jinxi and saying, "See, what did I tell you? My big nephew always listens to big niece-in-law!" 

Yan Beicheng, "..." 

Was he really that obedient? Even the rascals noticed it! 

Mo Jinxi sneaked a peek at Yan Beicheng and nodded in agreement, making Yan Beicheng even more aggravated. 

He was not even married yet and he was already such an obedient husband! 

Then, he noticed Mo Jinxi's delicate small face began to turn red as he lowered his head and muttered shyly, "Hey, I listen to Lin Chu too!" 

Yan Beicheng, "..." 

"Hurry up and go get ready to sleep!" Yan Beicheng grabbed them by their shirt collars and dragged them out of the room. 

Chu Xi dared not stay in Yan Beicheng's territory much longer either. Although it had initially snuck into the bedroom when Yan Beicheng was not around to pee in the corner of the room to mark its territory, it did not dare push its luck when Yan Beicheng came back. Rather, it acted normal as if nothing had happened. 

With that, Yan Beicheng brought the three of them to the guest room and ordered them to change and get ready for bed. 

Lin Chu wanted to go over and help out too, but she was immediately stopped by Yan Beicheng. "Let them settle down themselves or you'll just spoil them." 

The two boys were old enough to take care of themselves and no longer needed an a.d.u.l.t to look after them all the time, they were merely lacking discipline. 

Besides, Yan Ningbai and Mo Jinxi only found it awkward with Lin Chu looking over them. 

"Big niece-in-law, you… Go do your own things! We're changing now so… Don't look at us!" Yan Ningbai cried out embarrassingly. 

He was clearly fully clothed, but somehow, he still found the need to cover his body with his pajamas like a shy young lady in television dramas who was embarrassed to have someone see her body. 

Lin Chu, "..." 

Mo Jinxi who was standing beside him flushed red as well and nodded his head quickly. "You guys… Don't look!" 

"Alright, alright. Both of you hurry up and change now, and don't forget to wash up later," Lin Chu said with a soft laugh. 

Although the two boys nodded hurriedly, Lin Chu was still not at ease, so Yan Beicheng called Aunt Zhuang up to have her keep an eye on the kids while they showered. 

The bathroom in the guest room had a bathtub too, so Yan Ningbai and Mo Jinxi could bathe together. 

Aunt Zhuang prepared the water and made sure it was the right temperature while Yan Ningbai brought out all his toys so he could play with Mo Jinxi as they bathed. 

Chu Xi let out a howl and before Aunt Zhuang could react, it had jumped into the water as well with a loud splash. 

Yan Ningbai laughed and stood up with his hands on his waist, then turned to Chu Xi and said, "Chu Xi, look! It's an elephant!"

Chu Xi stared back for a minute but it could not understand what he meant, so it just turned around and pushed him into the water with its round butt. 

On the other hand, Yan Beicheng and Lin Chu returned to their bedroom. Lin Chu suddenly realized that Yan Beicheng was staring at her with a conflicted expression. He seemed to have something to say, but at the same time looked confused as well. 

Just as Lin Chu was about to ask him what the matter was, Yan Beicheng spoke up, "Am I really that obedient to you?" 

Lin Chu, "..."

Lin Chu paused for a moment and thought about it. It seemed to be true.

However, she had no idea how Yan Beicheng felt about it or whether he found it embarrassing. 

So, she replied, "I just told you that, didn't I? You've been spoiling me too much! You're always saying yes to whatever requests I have." As she spoke, her face began to turn bright red. 

She did not expect the two rascals Yan Ningbai and Mo Jinxi to see through it. 

If those two kids had noticed it, it meant that others had easily noticed it too. 

Yan Beicheng had a strange look on his face as he quietly pondered. So what if people could see how obedient he was?

After all, he had always wanted to behave like this. Even if he never gave it much thought, he had already been spoiling her unconsciously all this while. 

All it took was one glance, and he would no longer have the heart to reject her. 

Since things had been like this from the start and everyone was already aware of it, there was no need for him to put up an act either. 

Even if he was asked to change, he was already accustomed to this habit, so it would be difficult to do so.

If he had the ability to satisfy Lin Chu's requests but rejected her just to save face, would it not be cruel and unfair of him? 

In any case, he would never be able to refuse her since he could never resist seeing any sort of disappointment on her face. 

He went quiet for a while. On second thought, he did not think that he was actually spoiling her.

Since he was able to satisfy her requests, and they were nothing unreasonable either, why should he say no to her? 

This was not considered spoiling her! 

Yan Beicheng thought it through and the more he thought of it, the more reasonable he felt he was. Little did he know that he was merely justifying his spoiling of Lin Chu to make himself feel better. 

"What're you thinking of?" Lin Chu tugged on Yan Beicheng's sleeves. Was he thinking of changing his ways so he would no longer spoil her anymore? 

Once Yan Beicheng was done thinking things through, he pulled Lin Chu into his arms. "Well, I was thinking if it's alright for us to not have kids at the moment?" 

"Why?" Lin Chu was shocked she began to feel anxious. 

Why did he suddenly mention such a thing? 

"Don't worry." Yan Beicheng saw her face that had immediately paled and his heart ached. He reached over and kissed her softly. "I don't mean it in a bad way, but there are already two rascals in the house who are always over to disturb us. They're already disrupting our love life and our private time. I haven't had enough intimate time with you yet, so let's just leave some time for the two of us and slow things down a bit." 

Lin Chu was at a loss of words. She giggled as she dived into is arms. "You're already so old though." 

He was 34 years old now so he would be 50-ish by the time their children went off to university!

Yan Beicheng, "..." 

He smacked her butt softly. "What kind of woman calls her boyfriend old! Wait, that won't do, I'm already your husband. What kind of woman's always complaining about her husband being old!" 

He said this with a laugh instead of in a frustrated tone, making it evident that he was pleased with the usage of the husband term. 

Lin Chu laughed lightly too. The thought of calling him her husband after tomorrow made her blush. 

"Let's just stop using protection after we get our marriage license," Lin Chu whispered into his ear softly. It was a serious matter and they had to discuss the timing to try for children in the future. 

However, she still felt embarrassed saying it out loud. 

Yan Beining pinched his eyebrows as he contemplated the suggestions, but there was already a nagging feeling in his heart that made him eager to promise anything to Lin Chu. 

"Besides, it's not like we can just have a child whenever we want one. If we're lucky, I might get pregnant soon, but that might take a year or two, or perhaps even a couple of years. What if… What if I end up with problems too, how bad will that be!" Lin Chu circled her arms around his waist and tightened her grip, "Let's just… Let's just go with the flow, alright? Who knows when I'll conceive a child." 

Lin Chu peeked up at Yan Beicheng who remained silent with his lips tightly pursed. He looked like he was having an intense internal struggle in his head. 

"Yan Beicheng…" Lin Chu called out in a sweet tone. 

Her coy manner had always worked in the past, but this time, Yan Beicheng was still gritting his teeth in deep thought. His furrowed brows tightened as the struggle in his eyes became more obvious. 

Lin Chu resisted the urge to laugh at his expression. 

She plucked up the courage and moved closer to him, then she began to rub the tip of her toes lightly against the back of his legs. She started from his feet and slowly made her way up to his calves. As she repeated the same action gently, she noticed Yan Beicheng shudder as he felt a shiver race down his spine.

With that, Lin Chu leaned forward and planted a soft kiss on his ear and whispered, "Hubby…" 

Yan Beicheng immediately froze as his ears turned red. "What… What did you just call me?" 

Lin Chu had never seen him stutter before. 

Right now, he was completely muddleheaded. His eyes were wide open as he stared at her nervously. 

Lin Chu blushed and leaned forward, once again pressing herself next to his ear before whispering once more, "Hubby." 

"You… Can you… Can you repeat that again?" Perhaps he was too excited or too overwhelmed, as he began to stutter even more. 

"..." Seeing his current state, Lin Chu could not bear to reject his simple request so she called out again, "Hubby." 

Her cheeks were flushed red as she leaned into him and kissed his neck. 

"Look how eager you are. We haven't even obtained our marriage license," Yan Beicheng responded with zero hesitation this time. He was a bit stunned to hear the words come out of her mouth, but at the same time was extremely proud. 

"..." Lin Chu was speechless when she saw his smug look. He seemed so arrogant, as if she was the one who was desperate to be married to him. 

Although this was not wrong, did he really have to be so smug? 

Lin Chu gritted her teeth and kicked him in the shins before rolling out of his arms. Then, she pulled the blanket to cover her and turned away from him sulkily. 

Yan Beicheng, "..." 

He suddenly realized that he was indeed being too c.o.c.ky and quickly moved closer to her. "Lin Chu… Chu Chu… Wifey——" 

He felt a kick on his shins again as Lin Chu cried out, "Why are you calling me that? We haven't gotten our marriage license!"

Yan Beicheng moved his leg in pain, feeling as if it had just been struck by a stone. 

"I… I got too excited, didn't I? When I get excited, I instinctively feel like showing off, but that's only because I'm really happy." Yan Beicheng reached over to hug her and began to kiss her cheeks. "Don't be angry anymore, I overreacted because I was too happy. Can't you let me show off just this once?" 

He made it sound like she usually never allowed him to act so smug.

Lin Chu remained silent as she glared at him. 

Yan Beicheng figured that his coaxes were working so he quickly followed this up with the next move. He turned her toward him and rubbed his nose against hers. "Wifey, I know I'm at fault, really, but I promise you I won't behave so arrogantly around you anymore. Please believe me when I say that I'm just too happy right now." 

It seemed that he was addicted to addressing her as his wifey - as long as he called her his wifey, everything that came after about how sorry he was just sounded smooth and buttery.

"About what?" Lin Chu continued to scowl at him. 

"About having kids. Let's just stop using protection and not avoid it either, we'll just go with the flow," Yan Beicheng replied hurriedly. Regardless of how Lin Chu was glaring at him, he still hugged her tightly against him shamelessly. 

"..." Lin Chu snorted but still replied in an angry tone, "Let's see if I'll still call you hubby in the future!" 

Yan Beicheng was even more anxious now. He finally realized how much trouble he was in. 

He thought about it and understood why she was feeling like this. If he was the one who called her wifey and she teased him about it, he would get angry too. 

He did not know what he was thinking earlier. 

"Please don't!" Yan Beicheng hugged her even tighter now and cried out repeatedly, "Wifey, wifey, wifey, wifey…" 

The word 'wifey' kept jumping out of his mouth as if he was stuck in some sort of loop. 

It was to the point that even Lin Chu began to feel embarrassed. She punched him gently on his chest and snorted, but still remained quiet. 

With that, Yan Beicheng knew that he had successfully won her back and sealed his success with a kiss on her lips. 

Now that there were two kids in the house, Aunt Zhuang was worried that the innocent children would barge into Yan Beicheng and Lin Chu's bedroom in the morning and perhaps disrupt some early morning activity. 

Therefore, she got up earlier than usual to start her duties cleaning the house, but at the same time, she paid extra attention to any sounds that indicated that the children had woken up and were moving around the house. 

Fortunately, the two rascals had a late night last night. They had initially already gotten home quite late, and after washing up, the two excited kids stayed up talking in bed. This was the first time the two of them had spent the night together in the same bed so they were enthusiastic about the change of sleeping space. 

Yan Ningbai was an only child so he never had anyone sleep in the same bed as him at night. Now that Mo Jinxi had come over, he had to seize the opportunity to stay up late and chat with his sleepover buddy. 

Therefore, when Aunt Zhuang quietly opened the guest bedroom door the following morning to check if the rascals were still asleep, she found them still sprawled across the bed sleeping soundly. 

Since the two kids were still quite small, the huge bed was just right for the two of them to share. Yan Ningbai's short legs were dr.a.p.ed over Mo Jinxi's legs while Mo Jinxi's arm flopped over Yan Ningbai's tummy. 

The weather was quite hot so they had kicked away the blanket while they slept. Fortunately, the blanket was scrunched up to their stomach so their tummies were protected and they would not catch a chill. 

What made Aunt Zhuang almost laugh out was that Chu Xi somehow ended up lying on their heads with its paws kicking lightly every now and then. Who knew what kind of dream it was having. 

Aunt Zhuang went over and covered them with the blanket properly, then quietly left the room without waking them up. 

Yan Beicheng, on the other hand, was shaken awake by Lin Chu. The moment he opened his eyes, he saw Lin Chu lying beside him with her arms slightly propping her up. He grinned with satisfaction and pulled her into his arms. 

She felt incredibly soft in his arms as he lowered his head to her collarbone to sniff her. 

Aside from her natural fragrant scent, there was also the slight hint of his own scent. This mixture of both their scents was the best imprint he could leave on her. 

After spending a long time with him, the lingering scent he had left on her body gradually became stronger, to the point that she felt as if she was always enveloped in his arms. 

This was why his mood was always lifted every time he smelled his scent on her body. 

"Good morning wifey," Yan Beicheng muttered as he continued resting his head in the crook of her neck. 

After what happened last night, the word 'wifey' naturally slipped from his mouth. There was nothing inappropriate about it anymore. 

His lips conveniently ended up on her neck as he slowly sucked on her while he rubbed his cheek against her throat comfortably. Hugging her was just as comfortable as holding a pillow. 

Lin Chu, on the other hand, was extremely embarrassed. She noticed he was about to go back to sleep while holding her and quickly pushed him away. "Hey, wake up! Don't sleep anymore." 

Yan Beicheng's droopy eyes blinked slowly as he reached out for his phone on the bedside table. "It's only half-past nine." 

Lin Chu caressed his cheek gently and kissed him on the corner of his mouth. "Don't sleep now, I have something I want to talk to you about." 

Yan Beicheng was still not willing to wake up. With one swift flip, he captured Lin Chu in his arms once again and held her as if he was holding a bolster. 

"Talk then, I'm listening," Yan Beicheng said huskily. He was clearly still half asleep. 

"Well, we don't have anything to do today and since Ningbai and Jinxi are active little boys, let's not coop them up in the house. Shall we bring them out?" Lin Chu suggested. 

It was nothing special to Yan Ningbai since Yan Huaian and Yu Zi often took him out, but Mo Jinxi usually stayed in the orphanage during the weekends. Although the orphanage organized field trips every now and then, it was always the same few places so Mo Jinxi had never been to many places. 

All Yan Beicheng could think of was how he could easily spend the day with Lin Chu at home if those two rascals had not come over. However, with them in the house, he would have to entertain them so there was no chance of him getting to spend some alone time with Lin Chu. If he brought them out for a field day, perhaps they might exhaust themselves so much that by the time they come back tonight, the kids would be tired and go to bed early, leaving some peace and quiet for the a.d.u.l.ts. 

When he thought of this, Yan Beicheng realized it was a good idea so he agreed right away. "Alright, but let me sleep for another half an hour. I still haven't heard any noises from the two kids so they're probably still asleep at the moment." 

Lin Chu thought so too. The kids must have been too excited to sleep early last night. With that in mind, she closed her eyes and went back to sleep as well. 

When the two finally woke up again, it was already half-past ten. 

To Lin Chu's surprise, the house was still quiet after they got ready and left the bedroom. Were the two rascals still asleep?

She went to the guest bedroom to check but found that the beds were already neatly tidied up. 

The pajamas were stacked before each respective pillow, and from the looks of it, it seemed that the two little boys tidied up after themselves. 

By the time Lin Chu went back to the living room, Yan Beicheng was already waiting for her at the stairs. 

He was wearing a simple white cotton short-sleeved T-shirt and a pair of loose-fitting long pants that he matched with a pair of sandals. Even when dressed this casually, he still looked dashing. 

Lin Chu felt that it was some sort of blessing for her to be able to wake up to this gorgeous man every morning. 

Yan Beicheng reached out and Lin Chu slid her hand into his with a sweet smile. "Are the kids not in their room?" Yan Beicheng asked. 

"Nope." The second Lin Chu shook her head, Yan Beicheng quickly lowered his head and kissed her on the lips. He wanted to steal a few more kisses while the kids were not around. 

Lin Chu poked him softly. She was not worried about the children leaving on their own since they were well-behaved kids and they certainly would not leave without giving notice. 

Aside from that, Chu Xi was nowhere to be seen either. Since Aunt Zhuang would bring Chu Xi for a walk downstairs every morning, Lin Chu had guessed where they had all gone. "I think they tagged along with Aunt Zhuang to walk Chu Xi."
