It was not one...five...ten...but it swallowed the entire tree in his mouth which came out suddenly in the middle of the trunk. 

After eating a few more trees around it which contained juicy fruits, the humongous tree played cheerfully. 

Whenever the tree approached other small trees they shrunk their entire branches aside to show their fear but still, the leaves fluttered to go near it.

At first, Zhen Xiu could not understand the contrasting behavior of the branches and the leaves but after carefully scrutinizing the path of that enormous tree she saw something magical. 

The position of other trees which were gobbled up by that humongous tree was filled with a special green concentrated liquid. The quantity was little but it gave a very fragrant aroma which in few seconds turned into leafy plates and new shoot emerged from the concentrated leafy ground.

"Is this mysterious tree capable of giving life? Was this legendary tree of life?"

Zhen Xiu was astonished and confused. The behavior of the tree was violent as it directly pummelled the area around its fellow food but strangely it converted into a more beautiful sight where more lifelike trees were coming out of the ground.

The tree was behaving like a child who was playing with his food.

Zhen Xiu was struck with thunder as her mind interpreted the performance of the huge tree.

Despite its huge size, the tree was able to quickly leave the area which caused Zhen Xiu's earlier action of sitting and waiting to utter failure. 

She could not follow his movements and also was not able to track his trail.

It was a futile attempt.

Zhen Xiu was frustrated. It was the first time that she felt her skills were not good enough to grant her everything.

She crossed the last point where the tree was visible to check anything strange.

There was not anything special as she just saw the huge puddle of concentrated liquid left by the tree whenever he uprooted the other trees for his food.

The amount was larger there as compared to the others.

"Could it be its poop?" 

She tried to smell the liquid before picking it up for further investigation. Anyway, she didn't know the way of returning back so it was best to find out everything she could in the meantime.

Contrary to her suspicion there was no foul and dirty smell coming out of the liquid so she decided to collect it.

The greenish liquid changed into a jelly-like substance as she picked it in a jade box. It was a special box meant to keep things in its original state.

Zhen Xiu was trying to find the abnormality in the remaining portion on the ground after keeping some inside her space. 

The enormous tree that went ahead before some time ago was back and just like Zhen Xiu was glancing at her from the distance. 

His huge branches were trying to hide the inner bright green leaves that were excited to meet the newcomer in this lonely place.

The rustling of leaves was sounding like a peaceful lullaby in nature. Zhen Xiu was immersed in her search when she heard the sound at that moment. She turned around to see who was behind her back and was ready to attack the scoundrel.

Just as she was about to release her aura she was bewildered and almost screeched in embarrassment. 

The humongous tree was standing just there and like her was peeping at her.

What was this situation?

Why was it back?

Most importantly, why was it giving her this scary look and covering its leaves from her?

Was she scary in its eyes?

Zhen Xiu was mistaken as the tree was being hesitant and was shy to greet her.

It had noticed her presence long ago but didn't dare to pull her out from her hiding spot.

It was waiting for her to come out on its own and meet him that's why it ran away before as its jumping was not working enough to attract her.

The moment she sat and picked his undigested liquid was he able to come back again to look at her.
