Lu Jian comforted her softly even if he was stiff while doing this as he didn't have any practice of comforting others.

It was difficult but not impossible. He was slowly trying to learn the duty of a husband.

Zhen Xiu was happy to be back again. She didn't want to lose the warmth of her current life. Her previous life was enough for her and she didn't want any more nightmarish memories.
