Leo was once again sitting on the windowsill . Every once in a while , a few soldier gave him a strange look but they realised he had a wisp of the Captain's Mana on his body , so they did not dare to say anything . After one reached a certain level of strength , they could use their Mana as an object , to store it into objects and act as proof of their existence .

As long as that Mana existed , the owner was alive . This also acted as a deterrent against their organisations . Like a get-out-of-jail free card .

Leo yawned as he looked down at the high rise building and the soldiers below . The man knew Leo like high buildings , and thus arranged him a room at the hotel reaching the highest point and even booked a room at the top floor .

Leo looked back inside to see Leah reading a book . There were 20 more books on the table , out of which some were of ice magic , another some were of water magic , with more than half of lightning magic . If he knew he would have to study magic from a book , he would have kept a higher Mana .

Mana , was just what the system called it . Leo once checked his status in the hero level measuring device(HLMD) at the capital after being forced by that man who he only knew as captain .

It turned out these were the findings :

Strength : 23.70

Stamina : 21.92

Dexterity : 22.98

Vitality : 22.60

Wisdom : 21.02

intelligence : 23.48

Intelligence is the same thing as Mana and as it turns out , the more Mana capacity one has , the smarter they are .

Wisdom , is the same as perception . It improves how you observe things and how clearly you can observe them . Basically , the more wisdom you have , the more clearer the world is , if that makes sense .

Vitality was the same as usual , more you have , the longer you live .

Dexterity , increases your reflexes and body movement and whatnot . It makes it easier to move your body around .

Stamina , is the energy used by the physical body . It basically increases the stamina . That's it .

And strength is the maximum amount of power the body can exert at one instance . Basically , as 1 is a normal human's strength , a person with 20 strength attributes can exert 20x a normal human's strength .

That's it . No major changes . Just the name has change , and it became easier to understand because the system never described what the attribute types did .

Leo also found out , a normal human has 2 attributes at the very least at half . Usually , it's intelligence or wisdom being one of them .

Leo wanted to learn magic right now , so he was waiting for his unassigned points to be assigned . He of course directly assigned them to intelligence .

Leo sighed as he looked down at the soldiers .

' Each of them is at least as strong as an upper-intermediate tier hero . I can't go anywhere without being followed . I am a balanced type . Was , at least , until now . I need to focus on my strength and intelligence with the unassigned points . The rest , can grow with the rest .' He thought as he went back in through the opened window .

' Intelligence makes it easier to use anything related to Mana . Strength , well , just makes me strong . If I have more mana , I can use [ Reaper ] as a normal ability .'

Right now the abilities [Reaper] gave him could only act as means of travelling . There was no way he could actively use them in battles when he consumed 6000 Mana/min and had only 3500 Mana with 3% Regeneration .

" Brother , you also need to study . That uncle gave us these magic books because he heard you say you wanted to learn magic . At least learn it if you asked for it ." Leah said as she stood up , with the book still in her hands .

" As you wish . I will sit right by your side and study all the magic I can . Just do me a favor and arrange it in the way I have to learn them ." He said as he picked up the whole stack of books and sat next where Leah was standing .

Leah looked at him for some time , then nodded and sat back down . " The 5 on top are mine so let's remove those ." She said as she picked up the 5 books on the top of the stack and put them on her side . " Start from the ' Theory of electricity ' and ' How electrons move ' after that go for ' Elec ... "

Leo listened as his sister put the book in a series from where he had to learn and where it would end . She put the books one by one as she said their names , and when it reached 5 she pushed them back on the table and put another book on the first position .

After about 15 minutes , when she was done briefly explaining the contents of the books along with the name , there were 3 columns of books with 5 books in each .

" So what you are saying is , I have to go from the one on the leftmost top to the one at the rightmost bottom , just to set up a basic foundation for sighting magic ?" He said as he pointed at each of the books he named .

Leah looked at him with a smile and said " Pretty much ."

Leo looked back at the books on the table and almost fainted as he remembered a problem .

' The first 5 are taught to students in up to high school . The next 5 in college , and the next only those who work with electricity everyday will know .' His thoughts stopped here as he looked the top column . He sighed with regret as he mumbled " Why does going to school have benefits in another world ?" under his breath .
