After the wedding banquet came to an end, Adelos and Artemis went back to Arcadia with Styx along with many Oceanid goddesses. This was the favorite place Oceanus' daughters often spent time in comfort. Though, his son's does not seem to come here often.

"Aunt Styx, I have a request." Artemis' voice was solemn yet her countenance absolute.

"Speak. If it is within my means then I will do it." Seeing Artemis' solemn and absolute composure, Styx replied in seriousness.

Artemis looked at her little brother softly. "I want Aunt Styx to take care of little Adelos. I'm afraid I won't have the time to care for him."

Adelos was shocked. "Sister Artemis, what are you going to do?"

"Mother, Aunt Asteria, and Brother Apollo they're somewhere… I don't know where they hide and I can't help but worry for them. We're too weak… we won't be able to help them in their times of needs, Adelos. If we had Poseidon, then… would Hera dare to send someone to chase us? The Seven Seas is soon to become a battlefield. I want to join this war and become a powerful god." Artemis said as she looked at the deep blue sea with her golden bow and arrow clasped tightly in her hand.

Adelos raised his head slowly. "Have you decided yet?"

He had no desire to object to his sister's goal. He too wanted to become strong. Naturally, Artemis would feel the same.

Artemis nodded. She thought of her life and what she wanted to do on the way back after Amphitrite asked she stay in the palace. She pondered over the matter deeply before coming to a conclusion. She'd fight in the upcoming battles. Only in this way can she grow. Just that… she'd have no one to take care of her younger brother so she decided to place her hopes to her aunt.

Styx looked at Adelos and Artemis and sighed. "Artemis, you can rest assured. Here in Arcadia you'll have the resources and time to prepare yourself. As for little Adelos, I'll be taking him to the Underworld."

After the Battles of the Titans, Zeus had promised her rightful ownership of the Underworld river which forms the border between the Underworld and the world of the living.

There exists four rivers in the Underworld. The one she runs is called the Styx River. It is the river of suffering, the river of oath keeping, the river of anger, and the only path to the Underworld.

Soon as Adelos heard Styx would take him to the Underworld, his eyes flashed and stars shone in his eyes. He had long formed a plan to enter the Styx River and go on his own. This was exactly what he wanted. The result after cultivating Pangu's blood essence and the ice pearl Xuan Ming gave him was most effective when bathing in the Styx River. These days, he'd been struggling how he should journey to the Styx River, but he failed to realize the opportunity stood in front of him all along.

After a few days playing with Artemis in Arcadia, Styx dragged Adelos towards the Underworld.

Artemis stood on Arcadia's hill. Strands of her luminous hair hugged the gentle breeze. She looked ephemeral and beautiful as she watched Styx and Adelos figure grew dim.

"Little Adelos, wait for your sister… when I can fight Hera, I'll go to the Underworld and take you with me…" She whispered.

The young Oceanid goddesses attempted to comfort her.

Artemis turned around with a smile on her face. "Sisters, let's go hunting."

She pulled out her golden bow and arrow and ran down the hill. Narcissus and the Oceanids beamed a smile and happily followed her.

"Aunt Styx, are we heading to the Underworld? Isn't it on the west side of the mainland?" Curious, Adelos questioned.

He had heard the name of the Underworld since birth, but he isn't sure exactly where it laid.

After leaving Arcadia, Styx traveled westward with Adelos without rest.

"The entrance of the Underworld is indeed in the far west, but we aren't much in a hurry. I've plans to see an old friend of mine first." Styx looked at Adelos tenderly. Then, she suddenly remembered the funny story Artemis told her.

She donned a charming smile. "This old friend of mine is a beautiful goddess, little Adelos. You have to see her. Apollo and Artemis will surely snatch her and gift her to you as your wife."

"…." Adelos' cheeks turned red. Had he known it'd turn out like this, he would have never joked with Apollo and Artemis. Now it seems like the past would always come to haunt him.
