"It does not have much use." Adelos chuckled bitterly. "This realm, it is not like ours. Yes, talent and background is important but not a decisive factor. The wheels of thread and destiny decrees the future of god's and mortals alike. The sisters of fate long told me of the tragic fate of mine. I will never compare to elder brother and sister nor will I reach great heights such as them. If anything, I am simply a god of the Northern Star."

Adelos conjectured this woman as someone whom he could confide in. He thought it odd. Even he felt unable to speak of his burdens to his beloved mother, Leto.

Xuan Ming smiled coquettishly. "God of the Northern Star? Do you know that Polaris has another name?"

"You mean the Star God?"

"Yes. The Star God… the Emperor Star. Those born under the Northern Star are fated to be king. It is their fate, their destiny. Star God, ruler of all stars, of all planets, of all sentient beings. His status is only second to the Jade Emperor."

"Ah…" A sense of sudden joy wormed through his heart. "If that is so, then I cannot simply remain like this. Star God… the name is good."

"But as far as you are concerned, the laws of this realm and divine power are different. You remain a minor god and you dare dream of becoming the Emperor Star?"

"Having a dream is always good."

Xuan Ming nodded. "God or not, it is good to reach for one's dreams and ideals. There is always a way when one thinks there is not."

"You mean there is a way for me to overcome my failures and improve my strength?"

"Oh? I did not expect for you to have such adverse reaction, but yes, I do though it has a condition. I am not sure if you'd accept such offer."

Xuan Ming flicked her wrist. A small jade bottle appeared. She lowered her gaze and looked at the liquid form. A deep sigh escaped her breath.

"Many eons ago, my brothers and sisters refined the blood of Pangu. The blood in this jade bottle is the very last of its existence. If you're to absorb Pangu's blood, surely you can cultivate your body. Not only will you receive the Shaman Ancestors inheritance, but also comprehend some techniques. Just that… this world is not of Pangu's creation. I am afraid you may not be able to use its power to rule the laws of heaven and earth."

Streams of excitement rushed to his veins upon learning Pangu's blood was contained inside the small jade bottle. His luck seemed better each day.

Adelos reached out and grabbed the small jade bottle. "Of course, I will use Pangu's blood. I am unable to become ruler of the laws of heaven and earth. As a god of the Polaris Star, I am unable to do anything."

Xuan Ming watched Adelos' decisiveness. Her cold, icy face unconsciously revealed an alluring smile. "We have used the blood of Pangu on some of our own brothers and sisters. The result is very good especially for Hou Yi and Chi You."

Adelos grew fervent with excitement and enthusiasm when he heard of the names mentioned. He wished nothing more but to refine the blood of Pangu right this instance but he understood he'd not be able to. Adelos was inside the vastness of his soul.

He sighed and quickly put the jade bottle inside his space domain.

After a mortal ascends into godhood, said god garnered the qualification to store one's own heavenly treasures or items in their own space domain. Though Adelos lacked aptitude in both power and talent, he was still a natural born god. By his own godly birthright, he had his own space domain.

A sudden thought seeped in Xuan Ming's mind in a spur of a moment. She hurriedly pulled out a translucent ice pearl from her domain. The size of the pearl was equivalent to that of a pigeon's egg. Inside the pearl contained a burning white ember flame.

"Based on the knowledge given, this godly realm contains the Styx River in the underworld. Achilles once soaked his body in the river, benefiting greatly and received a nigh-invulnerable body. I advise you go to the Styx River and refine the blood of Pangu. The outcome might also be a bit better. Also, swallow this pearl. It might grant you godly power."

Adelos' brows wrinkled. "This is…"

He reached out gently and grabbed hold of the transparent ice pearl emanating both extreme hotness and ice cold temperature.

Xuan Ming curved her lips. "Worry not. It won't hurt you."

A short while passed thereafter.

"I recall you mentioning your elder brother and sister are fated to grow with limitless potential. Their fate and destiny decreed it so. Not only so, their gold and silver bow and arrow are mighty, created from the protogenos god."

Within the open space, an obsidian black bow coated with ancient cryptic lines and the bowstring the color a cardinal red appeared. The arrow was covered with purple patterns, revealing a faint cold light.

The scenic view was glorious.

"How might their bow compare to this?"

"Sun Shooting Bow…" Adelos whispered in awe consequent to catching a wisp of its appearance.

He knew of Hou Yi's legendary bow. He never thought he'd chanced upon it during his lifetime.

Upon seeing such heavenly artifact, he wondered if Hou Yi was made honored by the bow, or the bow was made honored by Hou Yi.

Xuan Ming placed the heavenly artifact in his hand. "Hou Yi used nine out of ten arrows. With your current strength, it'd prove difficult to use the Sun Shooting's Bow to its true strength, but I do hope that given time, you'll once again bring it glory."

Adelos lowered his gaze and looked at the Sun Shooting Bow. His heart brimmed with a full fiery, fighting spirit.

Suddenly, a wave of dizziness overcame him and Xuan Ming's figure disappeared, only her voice echoing from the vast space.

"I will rest. When you refine Pangu's blood and receive the inheritance of the Shaman Clan, come and see me."

Adelos eyes opened slowly. The first scene he saw was of Artemis looking at him with red eyes.

Gong Gong: God of Water and Sea. Having red hair and the tail of a serpent, covered by black scales. The Ancestor Shaman of the North.

Zhu Rong: God of Fire. Human body, animal head, covered by red scales. The Ancestor Shaman of the South.

Zhu Jiu Yin: God of Time. A dragon with a human face.

Qiang Liang: God of Thunder. Human body, tiger head, hands, and feet are horseshoes.

She Bi Shi: God of Weather. Human body, animal head.

Tian Wu: God of Wind. Tiger body, having eight human heads and ten tails.

Yue Zi: God of Lightning.

Xuan Ming: Goddess of Rain. Having bone spikes on the back.

Hou Tu: Goddess of Earth. The Ancestor Shaman of Center. Fused with Cycle of Reincarnation.
