He had explained very proactively, so that she would not keep asking.

Joanna stared fixedly at Ning Tao. “I'm curious too about how you had done it. Is it really magic?”

Ning Tao smiled. “Of course. If not, what did you think it could be? Magical powers? Or witchcraft?”

Ning Tao said, “We can do it now.”

Joanna nodded again. “Are you performing anesthesia on me?”

Ning Tao did not reply to her, and directly injected the needle on Joanna's head. And with a morsel of spiritual power, Joanna fell asleep immediately.
