A few minutes later, Ning Tao returned and handed the short-haired woman a steaming cup of fragrant milk tea and two pieces of chocolate.

"Thank you." The short-haired woman said, sounding a little tired. After that, she began to drink the milk tea and eat chocolate. After a few sips of hot milk tea, her spirits had obviously been lifted a lot.

"How are you feeling? Do you want me to call an ambulance for you?" Ning Tao asked solicitously.

The short-haired woman shook her head and replied, "No, I'm feeling better now. Sorry for what I... I didn't know you were helping me."

Ning Tao gave her a smile and said, "Never mind."

"What's your name?" Asked the short-haired woman.

Ning Tao just looked back at her and smiled without telling her his name. He didn't want to be associated with a woman with a gunshot wound.

Ning Tao figured out who the guy in the BMW was. It was Yang Hai.

"Tao, say something. I'm worried about you. Where are you now?"

"Chopper, you stay out of this. I'm fine." Ning Tao comforted him.

"Yes, I mean it. The people you talked about were probably the ones who wants to me to see a patient" Ning Tao lied.

"All right, let me tell you something interesting."

"My boss had a stroke in the office today, and someone even called an ambulance. Oh, it's the ambulance of the Affiliated Hospital of Shan City Medical University." Ning Tao turned and headed for the school gate, not even having time to pick up his things.

"Ning Tao!" A voice behind him suddenly said, "Stop!"
